There's a first time for everything

"Today is a great day!"
Booming words issued forth out of the mouth of a bearded senator on a distant planet. He stood there atop his balcony with his arms raised as he announced good news to the multitude below him. His people cheered him on invariably as he continued to speak
"For our enemy has fallen! The war has been won! Rest assured, my people, for my reign will never end!"
A flash of light and he was gone. Just a faint sliver of narrow light to the human eye and the crowd of people below could only stare in shocked horror, some even gasped, before turning into a stampeding mass of pure chaos and unrest at the sight of their leader, headless, bloodied and spouting blood and excrement. Guards all over the place darted back and forth, trying to pinpoint where exactly the light came from. Of course, they found nothing of the sort.
Just a few meters and sharp turns away, Andreas was laying down in an expedient position with his sniper rifle barrel still smoking from the previous shot. There couldn't possibly be any better sniper position on the planet than that rooftop with all the different angles and points the bolt could ricochet off of, Andreas reflected to himself as he dismantled the rifle and spread his wings, flying off into space and towards his next two targets @[member="Adenn Gra'tua"] and @[member="Verz Horak"], who--the mercenary remembered gleefully--just happened to be in the same place.

MEANWHILE IN A BAR ON MANDALORE

Verz slammed back a shot of tihaar, his favorite hard liquor. He had been drinking with @[member="Adenn Gra'tua"] and sharing war stories with wide eyed offworlders. Stupid tourists called him a war hero. No such thimg for a real Mando. Only honor and strength mattered to them. Even the womenfolk could beat the poodoo out of many galactic males. It was funny to see offworlders try to hit on a Mando woman. Several ended up with broken noses. The lucky ones woke up broken noses and a comm number.

Adenn sat across from @[member="Verz Horak"], cup of netra'gal in his hand, he favored it over most alcohols. He was still in full armor beside his helmet, which was sitting beside him "Ack, haven't had a drink in a while." he said as he put the cup down "But it's still good." he chuckled lightly before scratching his chin. He would have to watch how much he drank, he didn't want to do anything stupid.

Lurking behind the counter was the usual bartender, cleaning mugs with a towel. Or at least it appeared to be. A cleverly concealed holographic disguise matrix sat silently on his person as Andreas kept an eye on his targets. He remembered there being various vantage points he could have sniped the two of them from, but he also remembers that he decided against it. Warriors deserve a warrior's death after all. He walked up to the two of them.

"Pardon, but I have a few crates out back that I'm simply too frail to handle anymore. My hired help has all clocked out and I'm sure two strong young men like you could help out"

He was disguised as an elderly Twi'lek male and he played the role well enough if he did say so himself. He needed them separate from the common folk. He knew how rowdy Mandalorians could get and he didn't need to have to kill an entire bar of "good Samaritans".

Verz had downed the second shot he had ordered and savored the burning taste, with the taste of jewel fruit mixed in. In his opinion, that was the best type of tihaar. He placed the shotglass down as the offworlders left for the night after having too much to drink. As the bartender approached, Verz looked at the Twi'lek, then back over at Adenn. "Well, I don't see why not vod. Adenn, what do you say?"

"I don't see why not." Adenn said as he finished the netra'gal while standing up, he wouldn't turn down anyone when they asked for help, unless it was for a cause he didn't like but this was a simple cause "May I ask what's in the crates?" he asked the twi'lek as he put his helmet on the table he had been sitting at.

It wasn't until they were outside in the back of the bar did the mercenary answer @[member=Adenn Gra'tua]'s question

"Oh, just the regular shipment of new stock. Barwork miscellany you needn't worry yourselves about. Shouldn't be too heavy"

The moonlight puddled in the creases of the old man's face as he gave the bounty hunter and @[member=Verz Horak] a reassuring smile. Out of a black speeder truck came two hooded personnel who unloaded four wooden crates stacked in two stacks of two. They wasted no time driving off down the alley and with a sharp turn, they were gone.

"Come, I'll show you to the storehouse. Once you're inside, just walk through the next door and set them wherever you like "

He lead the two to the storehouse down the alley and across the street and typed in the password on a projected flat screen, opening the door. He then nodded to them and walked off. Beyond that door was the door leading to where the crates would go if they were actual stock. For there was an invisible laser trip wire applied to that second door and upon walking through it,the two mandalorians would hear their crates rapidly beep for three seconds before the explosives within detonated and destroyed them both.

"That was easier than I thought it would be." Adenn joked "Thought we were gonna have to fight thought tusken raiders and friends. Even though were on mandalore." he chuckled while walking through the first door while still holding the crate, it was only when he walked through the second door that he triggered the bombs in his and @[member="Verz Horak"]'s crates what th-" threw his crate away from him, it wouldn't end up far enough to not harm Adenn, but at least it wouldn't kill him.

@[member="Xanthanatos"]

As Verx walked with @[member="Adenn Gra'tua"] , the crate started beeping in his hands. Verz didn't have his helmet on but he realized what was going on right away. He dropped the crate and shielded his face with his arms as he twisted away from the crate. The bomb went off and blew him backwards along with Adenn. He was knocked backwards and landed with a grunt. Verz was disoriented for a second, and his ears were ringing.

Everything was proceeding according to plan. The pair had agreed to help their "friendly old bartender" out and got to Checkpoint A without any questions that would be bothersome. As he stood outside with his back to the nearby storeroom-- AKA Checkpoint B--he waited patiently, stroking the holographic beard of his artificial persona.
Three melodramatic strokes in, the mercenary leapt vigorously into the night air, allowing the Mandalorian duo to rocket out of the windows beneath him only an instant afterwards and hit the concrete that is checkpoint C while he landed safely on one of the storehouse's shed-roofs.

He crossed his arms, letting his magnificent beard blow in the wind courtesy of the advanced technology he had stored on his person as he regarded them, giving the two time to recover.
"Not dead yet, are you?"
Should @[member=Adenn Gra'tua] and @[member=Verz Horak] care to look up at the taunting voice that spoke out to them, they would notice the old man from before, silhouetted in the Mandalorian moonlight so that his blazing eyes stood out as two yellow dots ominously fixed down on them.

Verz's ears gradually stopped ringing, and his vision cleared. He started pushing himself off of the ground and fumbled for his Verpine pistol. As he looked around, he saw the old man, but this time yellow eyes shone. This, along with the adrenaline from the explosion, caused a near psychotic episode in Verz, the scene triggering a flashback to the Sith-Mandalorian War. He got to his feet and shot wildly at the "old man", the hypersonic pellets screaming towards him.

Adenn was thrown out the building he and Verz were in, and onto the concrete "Aahhg, what the shab was that!?" Adenn turned over after Verz did, only to hear shots be fired by the other man. Adenn jumped up, quickly unholstering his weapon and aiming then firing at [member="Horror"]
