NAME: Danithel "Thel" Bloodscrawl

OCCUPATION: Heir Apparent to Bacta-Works
HOMEWORLD: Kytrand
BIRTHWORLD: Khemost
SPECIES: Near-Human
AGE: 18
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 6'0"
BUILD: Athletic
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Dark Brown
SKIN: Caucasian
FORCE SENSITIVE: No
THEMES: "Alive" | "The Devil Does Drugs"
APPEARANCE:
Thel stands at six feet tall, with a lean, athletic build gained from years of training and conditioning. His shaggy brown hair contrasts sharply with his pale skin, and his dark eyes are unusually intense for someone so young, glaring out from beneath thick brows.
STRENGTHS:
- Child Soldier: Trained since infancy in the ways of the warrior, Thel is very familiar with combat tactics, weapons, and armor. Useful in a pinch, his penchant for violence juxtaposed with his youth can be jarring for some.
- Improvisation: Improvise, adapt, overcome.
- Laid Back: Maybe a little too much for his own good. Thel has been exposed to so much insanity from such a young age that nothing really fazes him anymore.
- New Rich Kid: Thel is keenly aware that his adoption into the fabulously wealthy Bloodscrawl family is a privilege few will ever experience. He
strives to make his adoptive parents proud anddoesn't take any of it for granted.
- Child Soldier: Because of the warrior culture he grew up in, Thel may be a bit too quick to resort to violence as a means of solving problems - and he's a bit more comfortable than he ought to be with killing people.
- Traumatized: You don't survive a childhood with a cultist mom and an android dad, followed by suddenly losing your entire adoptive family in your teens, without needing serious therapy.
- Insensitive: Let's just say he isn't in touch with his emotions and can come across as rather cold and unfeeling, especially when it comes to war and death.
BIOGRAPHY:
Childhood
"The other children sat anywhere else but near him. Thel didn't mind. He'd lived long enough with his Mother to understand their paranoia was completely justified, which is a terrible thing for one so young to understand."
The son of refugees turned Citizen-Soldiers of House Io, Thel was born on Khemost, the mysterious frozen world chosen by Laertia Io as a capital for her faction. His father, Danithel Hahn the First, was killed in battle prior to his birth. His mother Rebecca befriended and later romanced the Chaplain Neutralizer
When Thel was still an infant, Rebecca was forcibly "absorbed" into the Cult of the Brain Demon, a galaxy-wide organization of evil witches who assimilate the personalities of powerful Force Users and perform atrocities in worship of the Dark Side. As a Witch, she became known as The Deluge . While both his mother and Percival remained present in his life, Thel picked up on the fact that they weren't on the same page philosophically. Eventually they would find themselves on opposing sides of a civil war fought between uncorrupted members of House Io and the insidious Cult.
For his protection, Thel was spirited away to Kytrand, where he was left in the care of Nathan Bloodscrawl . He never saw Percival again; the Chaplain was killed during the Battle of Khemost. His mother's status remains unknown.
Teen Years
Hoping to put the boy on a better path than that of his parents, Nathan Bloodscrawl made the decision to formally adopt Thel as his son. Though Thel was slow to warm up to them, the rest of House Bloodscrawl became his new family. He became particularly close to Nathan's wife Alice and his sister Meleena, who encouraged Thel's interest in the family business: Bacta-Works, a company which sought to become the largest producer of bacta in the galaxy. This introduced Thel to the wider world of corpos, where he found both friends and foes.
The birth of a new son to Nathan and Alice brought further joy into the household, and for once Thel was happy. But not long after, he woke up one morning to find his newfound joy robbed of him. Virtually overnight, the entire Bloodscrawl family had disappeared... except for him. The adopted son, now the sole remaining heir to their vast fortune.
He hired a lawyer, of course, but the damage was done. Suspicions of foul play have followed him ever since, tainting his reputation and taunting him in his grief. With Bacta-Works now in his full control, will he honor his adopted family's legacy, or become a blight on their good name?
