Evanthea Jean Hinata or simply Thea is a Force Sensitive Yinchorri human who serves The Jedi Brotherhood as a Jedi Knight. She is the youngest child of legendary Jedi Master Hawk Hinata and Emily Garnier and the sister of Chloe and Hayden Hinata. As with all blood relatives of the Hinata line, Thea's eyes display the characteristic trait of shifting colours depending internal and external force influences.
Growing up on Yinchorri was no easy task. As her parents were both respected Jedi in the Order, Thea spent most of her childhood without them. She did grow up with her sibblings. Thea never adjusted well to her parents absense. The caretakers at the Jedi enclave on Yinchorri were nice to her, but they never felt like true parents. Thea grew up wanting the love and attention denied to her. She studied hard to become a Jedi Knight, hopping this would win her parents affection at last.
After Thea was knighted in The Jedi Brotherhood, her father Hawk Hinata went missing. She dutifully searched for him. After almost a year of searching she came into contact with his arch enemy, Darth Gravis, a Sith who left the Jedi because of a personal vendetta against Hawk. Gravis lied about his identity to Thea and the two ended up having a child, which they raised in secret.
