Private The Warm Up

She was still fuming as she stood there in a crouched position with her head leaned in between the two foes. But what she had just done was nothing compared to was Kragr was about to do - she could see it in the fire in his eyes. They were going to pay for what they had done. As Kragr grabbed the first one, she would put her hands on the shoulders of the other and whisper softly "Now watch"

It was a vicious command, but at least it was made before she realised what her friend was about to do. Seeing the unnatural way in which the man's skull started to form, she couldn't help but to look away herself. It was a wicked sight and while she was used to seeing horrid scenes on the fields of battle, it was never something which she really enjoyed. But she would not try to stop him - this was his revenge and for what the two enemies had done, they deserved the worst.

Still holding the man in place, she almost hid her head behind him as the other guy's head exploded. Isabeau was almost paralysed, looking up at Kragr from her crouched position as he took the second guard and filled his mouth with the shock baton. She felt confused as a slight sense of fear of her friend started to take root - the power and brutality he held was tremendous. But as soon as she saw him struggle standing up again, she darted to his side without hesitation as their good relations outweighed any fear that was starting to grow by far.

"You are strong, ori'vod. The pain will pass" she said as she slipped in under his arm to help prop him up. "Do you need rest? If you wait here, I could clear the way or find a medpack for you. Otherwise, the Titan should be close." she said, leaving the decision as for what to do in his hands.

Kragr's heavy breathing was obvious to the punishment he had received by the now two very dead men. He appreciated Isabeau's support to him and it kept him from succumbing to the current pain that flowed through his body. Of all the pain he had experienced in his life as well as damage, getting continuously electrocuted was definitely in his top 10 list. "Ni kar'taylir" agreed Kragr with a hiss, but her assurance was appreciated nonetheless.

"No... we need to continue, we don't have the time" said the large Mandalorian with a shake of his head and with the help of his Kih Senaar, they would make a way out of the large room and into another corridor that would lead them to the large hanger in the base. Biting the pain of his weakened body, Kragr powered through, stubborn to the core.

A few times, they almost walked into more of these invaders, but unless they made a lot of noise, they wouldn't get noticed. Kragr also seemed to get a bit more of his strength, meaning that he could walk on his own without Isabeau's help. However, that was also about it, he needed a proper rest to regain his strength fully. On the positive side, Isabeau had every opportunity to prove herself in battle or impress Kragr, given that she was his protector for the moment.

When they finally arrived by the blast door, leading into the hanger, Kragr glanced out the window beside the blast door to get a view on the place. "Shab" cursed Kragr, "I'm counting ten or more men in the hanger, all armed with blasters of some kind" explained the red-haired man and looked back to Isabeau, waiting to hear if she had a plan.

She looked up at him with a nod. If he decided to continue, she would help him do so. Even though he was capable of walking on his own, she still stayed under his arm to help prop him up, making their journey a little bit quicker. Soon, they started to get near a corridor, which caused her to slowly slip away from under his arm. Chuckling, she joked "Helping carry your weight is more tiresome than fighting these guys" in a whisper.

Speeding up, she made some distance between herself and Kragr as he slowly continued to advance. The girl peered around the edge corner to see two guards and despite only showing a small part of her face and then immediately leaning back, they spotted her. Apparently, the invaders had been put on high alert. The two of them rushed forward, and both came armed with finger print unlockable blasters that would be useless in somebody else's hands. They were quite well prepared indeed. Knowing her disadvantage rather well, Isabeau made use of what little edges and consoles that could be found on the walls and climbed it. As soon as the two men started rounding the corner, she jumped them from an unexpected angle - above.

A Mandalorian - by all means the favoured victor in a brawl. But then, the two opponents had twice the amount of limbs as her and even on their own, they were probably stronger. Having fought Kragr a few times and being used to taking larger opponents on at large, Isabeau kept moving, quickly dodging their attacks whilst getting a few small punches or kicks in until she learned their styles after just a few seconds. Soon, she managed to slip in behind one of the guards and with both hands quickly wrapping around his neck, he soon fell dead on the floor. The other aimed his blaster at her but she was quick to slap it away before kicking him in the face two times.

This was not the same man that had tortured Kragr before, but she was still mad about it and knew that they were part of the same company. Seeing the guard dazed, she went up to him and whispered "Let's see if our lord decides to spare you." With that, she kicked him from behind, sending him stumbling and finally fallin to the ground in front of Kragr's feet. Isabeau didn't stay to look but continued and a bit further ahead in the corridor, Kragr would find two more foes who she had beaten up and left on the floor for him to decide the fate on.

Soon, they finally arrived by the hangar. She eyed the Titan and then the layout. Four of them stood by a table drinking coffee and chatting. Five of the foes stood under a spaceship which hovered over them, trying to figure out how to fix something. The last person stood up on an elevated platform by a console which had a wire running to the ship. She looked back to Kragr "I'll distract them" she said before running off into the room.

Sneakily, the girl made her way to the lone guy by the console. With one hand by his mouth to muffle any noise and the other by his neck, she made short work of him. The first thing she did was to give Kragr the signal that he was good to go. Then, she quickly turned around and turned off the hover systems of the ship, causing it to crash down on the five guys standing under it doing repairs. Naturally, the last four would rush over to look at them before looking around the room with suspicion. If she noticed that Kragr needed a little more time, she would drop down from her platform up high, making some noise as she landed and say "Hello there"

It was quite the weird feeling and yet, rather comical as he hobbled after her. On one hand, he should have hated being the weak and left-back so Isabeau could take all the glory, yet he kind of enjoyed the walk. Again, it was a weird feeling as he enjoyed just following Isabeau's chaos, being proud and impressive on her behalf, yet he didn't hate being weak right now.

continuing up the corridor, Kragr's eyes fell on the lonely invader, causing Kragr to raise his eyebrow. At first, he thought the girl had gone sloppy, but quickly realized she had left the man in black for him. A wicket grin spread, "you shouldn't have" said Kragr to the Isabeau that wasn't near him and pressed his foot against the man's throat. Being dazed didn't give the man much to do and he could only lay on the floor and feel his life be taken by Kragr as the man's neck cracked under Kragr's might.

The nest two men received the same treatment as Kragr still wanted to use as little energy as possible for the true battle. Kragr didn't comment on Isabeau's handiwork, but if she looked him in the eyes, it was obvious that he was quite impressive for her to take out such large and many opponents without her beskar.

"Sounds like a plan Kih Senaar" agreed Kragr and waited for the girl to enter the hanger. Seeing her get in and take the first guy out, Kragr moved in as well and headed straight for the Titan. Isabeau better survive her little distraction stunt or kragr will personally visit her in the afterlife and kill her a second time.

It was going well, a little too well, which Kragr didn't like. Luckily Isabeau was a girl after his own heart and made the plan much worse by announcing herself, like some pompous Jedi. Oh right, and it also made sure the men didn't see kragr, but that's a minor detail.

Isabeau didn't get much of a breather, the moment she announced herself as the remaining men opened fire instantly. Some of the men had some rather illegal weapons within the Republic and Sith alike. One even threw a grenade at her current cover, to flush her out as they found their own cover.

Meanwhile, by Kragr, the large Mandalorian was in the middle of climbing into the Titan. It worked rather well for Kragr and Isabeau as the noise from al the blaster fire and grenades being thrown at the female Mandalorian, ate any sound the Titan might produce.
The moment Kragr activated all the system and had control over his titan, Kragr released a long satisfied "oh, yeeeah".

Everyone that was alive, with the expectation of Isabeau got lit up and turned to a bloody pool of meat as 40mm slug shots tore through them like air.

This was not unexpected. But to say she was adequately prepared for it would be false. Almost as soon as she introduced herself to the remaining guards, they turned around and opened fire. Diving for cover, she barely managed to escape the blaster bolts that swooshed by above.

The danger was not over, however, as the familiar sound of a grenade activating could be heard. Isabeau was quick and her hand-eye coordination was on point. Just as the grenade came within her field of view, a hand shot up to smack it away which caused it to land between her cover and the enemies. It didn't kill anyone, but it did prevent them from trying to flank her.

She was waiting for the explosion but what she heard was much greater than the explosion which could be expected from a single grenade. It could only be one thing: Kragr

Hopping back up from behind her cover, Isabeau watched the area around her which now laid in ruins with a big smile on her lips. Running over to Kragr in his Titan armour, she climbed up along his leg and onto his back, holding on by his shoulders. "Let's turn the heat up" she said with an excited voice.

Soon, two larger transport ships arrived at a high speed, both only turning off their deflector shields right before landing. Maybe it was fortunate that the two Mandalorians had chosen to go to the hangar as this seemed to be where the reinforcements would be arriving. Needless to say, the transports were quickly prepping to open up their numerous ports and doors to unload the troops. Still riding on her friend's back, Isabeau let out a quick "It is your show now. Let me know if you want me to do something. Just point and I'll go"

With a excited though wicket grin, Kragr turned his attention to the two larger transport ships arriving. The closest transport ship to the Titan blew up in a fiery state of explosive material as Kragr had launched a missile at it. No survivors. The other transport ship, however, managed to get their men out with all manners of weaponry. Everything from explosives, anti-armour, anti-infantry and all in between that.

Unfortunately, all that didn't matter as Kragr bathed them all in a massive wide cone of flames. It was an absolutely horrible, watching the men from the second transport get burned alive with nothing to put it out. Some of the men with high explosives on them, also blew up, making everything just worse for them.

Even the pilots didn't get a chance to fly out as the upon transport ship stood open, which caused the inside also to burn. After fifteen minutes or so on continuously flamethrower action, nothing was left but scourged bodies and burning transport ships. The smell of burned flesh filled the hanger and was enough to make one gag or throw up. At least the hanger door to the cold outside helped with the burned bodies, but not enough to make the smell go away quickly enough.

Opening the chest and the head helmet, Kragr looked at his handiwork and then at the incoming sound of footsteps towards the upper doors. Aiming the Titan's cannon, he almost pulled the trigger. Luckily, he didn't as it was more Mandalorians from the base, who had finally managed to break out of their temporary prison cells.
