Intent: Personal Armor for Reverance, with a focus on dual wielding combat. To flesh out an armor that he has used on and off before I transferred him to Chaos.
Development Thread: Phrik acquisition: Phrik and plaque and gingivitis

Lotek'k acquisition: The Terror from Beyond 2: Lets punch out Cthulhu
Manufacturer: [Reverance]

Model: Not applicable
Affiliation: Reverance only
Modularity: None
Production: Unique
Material: Phrik, Lotek'k Hide, Crystadurium, Durasteel, Red Armorweave, Ralltiir Tiger Fur, Quench Weed/Glue, Shell spider silk

Classification: Anti-blaster, anti-lightsaber, anti-kinetic damage, anti-slug thrower damage [all resistance only apply to locations of coverage on body]
Weight: 8 kg
Quality: 6
Special Features: Composed of mostly phrik. During the smelting process, the phrik was combined with crystadurium, which has improved resistance to blaster damage as well as changes in heat and pressure. Typically worn with a black cloak/robe.

Description: This armor, in the most classical sense, is purely plate armor with added materials for comfort and thermal protection (when needed). The armor is composed of, essentially, four separate pieces. Two greaves, covering the legs from ankle to three inches above the knee, and arm armor that extends from shoulder to wrist on the right arm and shoulder to hand on the left arm. For specific terms, the arm armor includes a pauldron that extends into a rarebrace, that includes extension into an agile form of couter, that extends into a vambrace. On the right arm, this is where the armor ends. For the left arm, the armor continues into a segmented gauntlet. The torso armor covers the arms in their entirety as well as extends across most of the rhomboid muscles, and nearly half way down the back. Protection on the front of the chest is relatively minimal, hardly extending beyond the armpit.

The first portion of the armor is actually not armor at all, but segments of gambeson. The inner stuffing is composed of ralltir tiger fur, compressed between overlapping pieces of armorweave, stitched together with shell spider silk. The gambeson comes in two thicknesses, which doesn't impact the purpose, but merely varies in the amount of fur filling to add for heat protection or to add comfort when in more humid and arid conditions (these will be used interchangeably but will be noted in the writing). These gambesons, dyed red, are placed against either flesh or clothing and tied with straps of lotek'k leather (3 oz thickness), stitched against armorweave with shell spider silk, to prevent ripping of the leather from the durable fabric. The leather strips clamp together with durasteel buckles. These gambesons are tied around the legss, form fitted specifically for Reverance, before donning the armor itself. Across the top, the gambeson is a solid piece that runs the length of both arms and stretches across the back and chest, just beneath the leather straps. The main purpose for the fabric is improvement of hold of armor against body, increasing agility in the comfort and stability of the armor.

The armor itself is almost entirely composed of phrik. During the smelting and forming process, crystadurium fragments were added. This not only gave the armor specks of black upon the surface, but also improved the capacity to withstand blaster shots. The greaves are solid plate while the armor upon the arms is segmented into overlapping concentric pieces, allowing a reduction in rigidity and improving the movement capacity. Between the pieces of segmented metals, Lotek'k leather strips (3 oz) were glued to the inner surface using quench glue. This serves multiple purposes: First, it reduces the sound of metal against metal, acting as gaskets, if you will. Second, it reduces the sharp edges of the armor on the interior, preventing the potential for cutting into the armorweave gambesons. Third, it provides a means for the armor to grip to the gambesons, allowing further stability in it's placement. The concentric plates are held together with inner lotek'k leather straps (4 oz), riveted to the inside of the plates with durasteel rivets. The rivet heads were covered with layered phrik, giving the appearance of dimples across the plates surface, after addition of leather. The greaves, contrary to normal construction, are totally calf encompassing. This is done by using two pieces of phrik for each leg, that are connected with two phrik hinges and a lock on the interior of the leg.

6 oz Lotek'k leather straps cross the shoulder blades to pull the armor across the back. Across the front, the Lotek'k hide straps crosse the pectoral muscles in an X formation, sealed to the inner portion of the armor, just over center of the chest, with durasteel buckles. The leather straps have staggered and durasteel reinforced holes to allow easy tightening and loosening, even in the middle of battle. This armor can either be worn with no shirt or a material that runs over the top of the straps. However, it is incompatible with other pieces of armor and often worn beneath a black armorweave robe/cloak.

Strengths:
+Highly resistant to damage: Composed of phrik primarily, the armor is highly resistant against most common forms of weaponry.
+Low coverage: This can be seen as a benefit, as it allows a certain level of agility in Reverance's fighting style.
+Unique: It might not be great, but it's unique to Reverance. And for someone with an ego like this guy, that's a strength if there ever was one.
+Relatively Quite: Pretty quiet for this type of armor. With just the right sort of walking and tippy toes, Reverance can avoid most noise. But lets be serious, this is plate metal. He aint really sneaking up on people.

Weaknesses:
+Low coverage: This can also be seen as a weakness. The armor fails to cover most of the torso, the stomach, the waist, the thighs, or the head.
+Man it's cold outside: Due to the lack of coverage, there is little protection from the environment and as such, must be supplemented with other clothing or force powers.
+It's a tough fit: Armor like this isn't easy to put on. Either Reverance is given assistance, or it can take a solid 10 minutes to don.
+Nothing Special: While it affords standard protection common to phrik, it is minimalistic in it's construction. It wont do any good against force powers or things of that sort.
