UTINNI! — D'WARI SALVAGE & TRADING POST

Somewhere in the Jundland Wastes, Tatooine...

The twin suns beat mercilessly against the endless dunes as a small cluster of weathered tents stood against the shifting sands. A handful of moisture vaporators, stacked crates, scavenged droid parts, and humming generators surrounded the makeshift Jawa camp. A faded banner fluttered lazily in the hot desert wind.

Several GNK power droids slowly shuffled between piles of scrap while an old R2 unit chirped as it organized salvaged components into neat stacks.

Standing atop a crate was a lone Jawa wearing worn brown robes and a sand-colored scarf covering his face. His glowing yellow eyes scanned every approaching traveler with curiosity rather than suspicion.

"Utinni!"

The little scavenger enthusiastically waved both hands.

"Good prices! Good deals! Droids... power converters... hyperdrive parts... blasters... tools... maybe even something very special!"

He proudly gestured toward rows of carefully organized merchandise.

There were repaired protocol droid heads, restraining bolts, power cells, navigation computers, moisture vaporator components, speeder engines waiting for restoration, fusion cutters, survival equipment, and crates overflowing with mysterious scrap whose purpose only another engineer could identify.

Unlike many Jawas, this merchant seemed willing to answer questions about every single item before selling it.

"Trade? Buy? Sell? Kalit always make fair deal!"

Behind him, the astromech whistled loudly, almost sounding as if it disagreed with the word "fair."

The Jawa simply shrugged.

"...Mostly fair."

Anyone wandering the wastes could spot the small trading camp from a distance. Whether searching for spare parts, repairs, information, a business opportunity, or simply a cool drink beneath the shade of the tents, all were welcome to approach.

Provided they didn't try to steal anything.

Novac always loved worlds like tatooine, nice and warm, dry air, sand. Another good thing was there where usually scrap sellers and traders, who knew what kimda stuff you might find.

Novac was of course accompanied by his hk-87 droid kairo, the droid insisted on coming with due to the potential dangers. Even though novac was a jedi the droid still acted as if he couldn't protect himself sometimes. It's not like novac would complain, he enjoyed the company.

As he approached the jawa a GNK droid slowly passed by infront of him, novac gave it a small pat as it did.

Giving a small bow of the head to Kalit D'wari Kalit D'wari ""Hello there, got anything special? Also heard you say droids, I'd like to take a look at those as well if you don't mind."

Kalit laid both of his hands down onto a stand, then looking at the distance and noticing a visitor. He immediately got a protocol droid head to translate Jawa Trade Language to galactic basic, for mere convenience.

"Have a look around visitor, the storage is nearby. What do you need? Fusion welders, holoprojectors, compasses, droids? We have almost anything you need!! And about the 'special' item, it is our crate of coaxium!! Super rare, straaight from correlia!!"

Kalit pointed at a stash of rebuilt garbage, taken from abandoned scrap in the Dune sea. Kalit was hoping his repairs were good enough to get a good sell.

"If you arent quite sure what you want here, you can stay for a bit at our settlement, the sun here is awful even for us. We can lead you inside the Sandcrawler to truly find what you need"

Khar pulled his speeder to a halt a short distance from the makeshift camp. He was aware coming screaming in on his speeder tended to scare people. So he decided to walk slowly towards the camp to trade.

He had a collection of scrape and credits to trade. He wanted new moisture farming equipment to help a settlement. So forward he strolled.

Stopping just outside of the camp. He would not enter without an invitation. He dropped a bag of salvaged speed parts, an old blaster rifle and some old droid parts. He kicked it forward slightly before taking two steps back and popped a squat as he waiting for someone to come out to trade.

Once kalit was done speaking with the first visitor, he slowly turned his head right and saw.. a Tusken Raider.

"What the- Weapon down! Weapon down!! Get away from the stand you womprat!!"

Kalit had horrible memories from tusken raider warbands attacking his clan and murdering fellow jawas, although he could slightly tell the tusken was not hostile, his deep rooted hatred left him scared. He had drawn a Ionization blaster hesitantly, barely knowing how to fire it and shaking.

"What tribe are you from, are you hostile? I find it hard to trust you, wanderer!! Weapons on the ground please.."

He signaled some other jawas to come over in case things escalated, which he believed would happen, he absolutely feared tusken raiders, and the sudden appearance frightened him to the core. He still didnt fire and awaited what the sand person would reply

“A hunter who came to trade has no need for weapons.” The Tusken stood up turned round and took a few more steps from the camp. With his back turned to the jawas, he unrolled a small rug. He then slowly and deliberately unslung his Cycler rifle from his back and placed it gently on the fabric. He then did the same with his gaderffii. Then one buy one, each blaster pistol from his cheats harness. Once all his weapons were neatly arranged on the rug, he stood and returned to the spot he was previously squatting.

He resumed the squat to make himself closer to the Jawa’s eye level so he wouldn’t lord over them. “I have no tribe.” He gestured at the bag of salvaged speeder parts, an old blaster rifle and some old droid parts. “Came to trade.” He opened his hands.
