- At a glance, the Vonu appear more skeleton and dead than anything real or living. They appear as dead bodies in essence. They may appear lying on the ground, presumed dead one second, only for them to lash out at a coming onlooker the next, at least in theory that is how they are assumed to act. In reality, such creatures sniff out and listen for vibrations in the air to lead them towards their target to maim, kill, and eat, not in any specific order.
- The Vonu share many similar characteristics of their paternal genetic donors, the Yuuzhan Vong, and the Humans. They possess a notably bipedal shape where the flesh and muscle cling to the bone tightly with rabid bone mutations present in all Vonu causing severe stretching of the skin and gaps in their torso where bone should be. Their bodies look very skeletal and frail in nature while, in reality, the use of Geno-hardening and bone-hardening technologies during the birthing and cloning processes made their bodies hardier than they looked and made their bones appear thin, and yet strong as the durasteel used in modern military vehicles. They possess five fingers much similar to their human genetic doner, though in place of fingernails lie ridged bony claws meant for tearing and cutting through flesh and light armor with ease. Their heads are more skull shaped at the bottom with the upper part of the head being more smooth and oval-shaped upon which three singular, glowing green eyes lie atop of.
- Bony protrusions erupt in random places among the Vonu's body, primarily in the shoulder and chest region and occasionally the head region. These bony protrusions cause pain to the corrupted creature whilst also helping to serve as some form of 'armor' for the creature. Such protrusions appear as large spines or spikes which flake all over the body, giving an almost demonic visage to the creatures as they stalk after prey. Their feet are claws much similar to their hands, with ridged bony claws. A rear claw extended out of the back of the Vonu's foot with two other claws extending out of the front of their foot, acting as toes in a sense.

- Variants of the Vonu are many, all of which are widely distinctive from one another. During the creation process and artificial birthing and womb processes, mutations will develop more times than not. These mutations are distinctive and strange, all of which adding an even more sinister and ungodly appearance to the already sickening and skeletal appearance of the Vonu. These mutations are themselves hard to keep track of and to keep in check. Which results in some Vonu that have four arms for example. Others may be oversized and unnaturally large, some even reaching upwards to a height of an estimated three meters ( ~9 feet), far surpassing their average measured height While others could develop long and gruesome horns that sprout forthwith the sides of their head or large bloated and pulsating areas of skin and flesh that ooze puss, others exhibiting rapid muscle growth and even possible regenerative abilities as well.
- Despite all of these seemingly 'good' mutations, many bad mutations exist as well. Some Vonyu are born blind, while others are born with rapidly developing cancer cells in their body, some with an unquenchable hunger. While others may just get a mixed back or come out completely normal. After all, there were a number of issues with the Vonu during initial creation. The use of cloning technology and rapid artificial womb systems only made these issues and problems accelerate at a more rapid pace and happen in a more dangerous amount and variety as well.

The Vonu are capable of taking the most basic of vocal instructions through the use of an inhibitor chip that is surgically implanted into their heads. The orders they can take are very simple and nothing complicated. Such things as 'Kill all Witnesses,' 'Kill anyone with a Lightsaber,' or 'Kill anyone wearing a Republic Insignia' are the limits of what types of orders that they can take.

Vonu's often will act sporadic and predatory when in groups. Infighting is common among them especially when they have not been fed for days on end. Likewise, with infighting, cannibalism is also common among the Vonu due to their strict animalistic nature and need to survive to preserve themselves as is evident in the 'flight-or-fight' mechanism which is prevalent in many different species of animals all across the Galaxy. - When in open combat, Vonu will charge towards their prey without any strategy or any logic to their movements. Some will run straight at the enemy, while others will sneak around and go after them, others using the environment to help protect them. All of this is random, of course, due to mutations. The main goal of a Vonu when charging towards an enemy is to feed and kill. There is almost no logic to their behavior or corporeal pattern that can be visibly seen. They seek out the quickest path to feeding which often can, and will, involve all sorts of manuvers and movements which look strange and out of the ordinary to the naked eye.
[ HISTORICAL INFORMATION ]
- The Vonu is an artificial creation and genetically-engineered, grotesque hybrid of the blending of human genes and Yuuzhan-Vong genes. Taking traits and DNA strands from both species, these genetic samples are then artificially modified and enhanced through the controlled use of radiation to eliminate unneeded traits and enhance existing ones. This radiation process, however, eliminates more than is meant to be removed and even adds new traits that are unneeded. One such consequence of using radiation to eliminate and modify the genetic strands and DNA helix structure is the creation of mutations problems and adaptive issues to the Vonu. The radiation, although used in controlled bursts with a careful and precise hand, helped to cause rapid changing of the helix structure which resulted in numerous new gene edits and DNA modifications, adding on strands to the already double helix structure of the DNA, fracturing it's physical form and creating the Vonu's skeletal and broken physical appearance as though it was created broken. As though it was broken, as though it had been meant to be created as a broken shell of two species.
- Once the genes have all been edited and modified, they are thenceforth added to an artificially created human embryo cell. From then, the cell will be placed into an artificial womb system to give nutrients to the embryo and help it to grow and to help nurture it to adulthood. It takes a year for the embryo to reach adulthood. From there, the Vonu will be cloned by numerous machines all of which can and most likely will jumble the genes of the Vonu to cause sporadic mutations all over its body.
