The Void is an enigmatic workshop that revolves around the equally mysterious figure known as Vahk. The Void, with permission from the Sith Empire, utilizes exotic materials and extensive research and development to prototype and create final versions of their products, ensuring that those who purchase their wares are given an advantage on the field. They primarily manufacture weapons and equipment, both of which are of excellent quality and craftsmanship. It has stocks of its wares that are simply sold in exchange for Vahk's preferred method of payment.
The Void does business in a non-discriminate fashion, though it only accepts a particular form of currency to which the Sith Empire has exclusive minting rights to in exchange for their material assets. This currency is a simple medallion shaped object, slightly larger than a coin with intricate engravings on, but they are produced in very little quantity, some speculating the worth of one to be worth around 10,000 Credits and are called Silver Banes.
Most products from The Void are within the 15-20 Silver Banes as a high point in price, usually of a semi-unique nature while the limited production items are around 1-5 Silver Banes. Vahk and The Void will take special request commissions to produce an item for a client, usually for around 30 Silver Banes depending on its function.
The Void while primarily deals with the Sith Empire and their mercenary associate, anyone in possession of this currency is free to contact Vahk in order to procure a business meeting for a trade, whether they were obtained from the Sith Empire directly or procured through unsavory means. Anyone from anywhere can have a chance to purchase from The Void, so long as they have the Silver Banes for it.
RATIONALE
The Void's origins are about as dubious as they come. The one and only owner/merchant of the company is Vahk, a mysterious figure who appears every now and then to sell his wares. Vahk appears to be a master engineer who creates items of very limited quantity but have tremendous benefits for their users (ie his clients) which has given him some credit as an independent within the territory of the Sith Empire. He reaches out to Bounty Hunters and mercenaries, in particular, to purchase and field his items. Vahk only accepts a currency he dubs as Silver Banes, no amount of credits or items for trades to receive his wares will get him to take anything less than Silver Banes as payment.
