- Accessibility:
- The surrounding New Plympto jungle has been cleared out to give way to this structure and the other smaller buildings surrounding it.
Imperial patrol craft survey the skies and surrounding land at random intervals inspecting incoming and out-going transports, individuals on site, or for intruders.
The skies are not always clear as the intense heat, combined with weather forecasts, can give way to thunderstorms and torrential rain. Roads leading into the complex have been paid with security perimeters apparently everywhere you look. - Description:
- A large, oval shaped building referred to as "the Veneration" is a hub of activity where incarcerated prisoners are forced into a labour force in exchange for time served. Smaller buildings, drabbed in the flags of a resurgent Galactic Empire, are littered across their surface. They are processing plants, storage areas or quarters for Imperial personnel working on site. Plumes of smoke fill the area giving it a distinctly dystopia feel on the backdrop of a jungle (sighted off in the distance) of which this place has been carved out of.
- Assembly Chamber Vireth-9.
Mass production hall for TIE fighter components, droid parts, stormtrooper armor or parts to be used in Project Stardust. Inmates work under surveillance. Also includes the processing and packaging of a Spice deposit discovered in the same area that this site was constructed upon during the Galactic Empire's annexation of the planet. - Refinement Forge Block C
An area where the Spice is mined by prisoners incarcerated within. Extremely hazardous and intentionally under-maintained to weed out "noncompliant" laborers. - Load-Bearing Servodock 7-A
Loading bay for cargo shuttles transporting Imperial goods off-world. Often the most heavily secured and patrolled. - Detention Sector V-5
A central isolation block for "high-value" or particularly defiant prisoners. Rumors abound of interrogations and disappearances here. - Obedience Compliance Hub
A mind-conditioning and punishment center utilizing sonic torture, stress drugs, or holographic re-education programs. - Watchtower Node
Central command post controlling turbolasers, surveillance, prisoner movement schedules, and factory output. - Barrack Wards (Unit G-12)
Spartan communal quarters for the inmate labor force. Rations, rest, and propaganda holos are all regulated here. - Ration Dispensing Terminal // Line Queue E
The daily humiliation point where prisoners receive low-nutrition meals from automated dispensers while under guard watch. - Mortuary Bay D
Where deceased prisoners are cataloged. Some are recycled into factory use or "biological reclamation" programs. - Hall of Veneration (Public Morale Chamber)
A massive holo-mural hall honoring the Emperor and the "duty" of labor. All prisoners must recite loyalty oaths here weekly. - Faith in Order Auditorium
Used for mandatory re-education broadcasts, rallies, or Imperial officer addresses. May also double as a punishment stage. - Project Regnant (Classified)
A secret research sublevel where Imperial scientists test cybernetic augmentation or the pain-threshold on prisoners. - Control Pylon Z-Null
An AI-assisted logistics node designed to predict prisoner escape risk and production efficiency.
MEDIUM.
This facility maintains a moderate level of security appropriate for a location balancing operational output with enforcement. A medium security rating implies that the site is well-defended against common threats such as infiltration, sabotage, and prisoner uprising, but it is not designed to withstand a sustained military assault or orbital bombardment.
Internal security is robust, relying on both automated systems and personnel oversight. Perimeter defenses are in place to deter escape or intrusion but are not impenetrable. The security infrastructure is not over-militarized, reflecting the Empire's confidence in its institutional control and the facility's relative obscurity from large-scale rebel interest.
- Perimeter Sensors & Alarms
Motion-detection grids, biometric scanners at all access points, and atmospheric breach alarms. - Automated Sentry Turrets (E-Web Emplacements)
Positioned at chokepoints and major gates, connected to a centralized control node. - Patrolling Stormtrooper Garrison
Standard garrison of ~80–100 stormtroopers assigned to rotating patrols, guard duty, and response teams. - Surveillance Systems
Holocam arrays monitored 24/7 from the central Watchtower Node. Includes facial recognition and thermal imaging. - Access Control & Checkpoints
All movement between facility sectors requires Imperial security credentials. High-risk areas (such as power cores or command centers) require double-clearance. - Riot Suppression Protocols
Equipped with stun batons, gas dispersal units, and sonic deterrents in prisoner-dense zones. Emergency lockdown procedures isolate wings individually. - Landing Pad Shielding
Short-duration energy shields protect loading areas during cargo operations, not capable of sustained defense against aerial attack.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
In 902 ABY a resurgent Galactic Empire began their invasion of the Core Worlds held by the Galactic Alliance.
One of those worlds was New Plympto.
A graduate from the Raithal Academy of Structural Doctrine was one of the invaders of the planet. The academy, which was a branch of the larger Raithal Military Academy, had produced

On New Plympto, as Imperial forces quelled a revolt in the local area, Vireth found an operation that was unsuitable for the Empire and her needs. Upon conducting a survey and analysis of the area she conceived it.
The Veneration- a citadel found in the jungle of the planet constructed over the newly discovered deposit of Spice. A place of efficiency, usefulness and in accordance to the designs of the Galactic Empire. It is an Imperial Factory Prison where the incarcerated prisoners (found guilty by Imperial decree and law) are forced into manual labour to assimilate, clean, repair or construct technology for use. Among them were parts for Project Stardust- a clandestine operation in effect since before the Empire was re-consecrated on Imperial Centre as they constructed a new weapon in accordance to the paradigms of the Galactic Emperor.
A section was also devoted to Project Regnant- a research wing of the Raithal Academy who utilized the access given to prisoners to test new forms of cybernetics on their unwitting victims.
