Time. The line of everlasting existence through events and history? Or what it something more? Fact was time was not something that could truthfully be explained by anyone. It was infinite. Just like the mysteries it holds deep within its roots. Many thought of time as a way to recognize the present…but no. Others believed it to be so much more. A force beyond comprehension doing its work unintentionally and perfectly all at once. The stubborn existence of organization that held the past within a seal. The bringer of the future and the giver of the present. Some believed time to be a god all itself, invisible to the naked eye and unheard through religion. It very well could have been. When phrases are shouted out like ‘we are out of time!’ or ‘Times up.’ To some they are just phrases, to others they are tribute to the all mighty god of time. Whoever it may be weather it was real or not. Or perhaps…for something to be real one must simply believe it to be real? Faith was a powerful substance in many nations throughout time.

Consisting side by side with time was the gift of history. A function of time stored within the subconscious of ones mind throughout the period of their lives. Of course…there were always memories better left forgotten. Despite the fact memories would always eventually be forgotten in the downward spiral called time. The memories of the past, of those before us. Never told from the beholder but often from the witness. Stories and legends passed down generation to generation but with each generation only losing more and more of the truth as the line between reality and fantasy grows ever so thinner. It was the same with the beings that traveled the world. Over time ones blood does not strengthen. It weakens. If one were to make a copy, of a copy, of a copy it would not come out stronger. But weaker. This has always been true. The memories that held the truth where lost…forgotten In the web time.

So here he was...the once former Jedi Knight now hanging about in the undergrounds of Coruscant. A remnant of what and who he once was. Funny how someone who showed so much promise had been reduced to nothing but an assassin for hire. He had been dodging the sith for months now...intercepting their transmissions and out running them. The young knight was unsure what they wanted with him...all he knew was everything a straggler got the chance they would often try to convince him to join. The Empire must of been running low on valuable pawns. At any rate...he figured he would be safe from them on the republic world. Looking out the window of his small crappy apartment he sighed and looked over at his helmet. Turquoise eyes softened as he reached for it and placed it onto his head. Wearing his Assassins Attire 13 sighed and placed his pistol into its holster. Putting his lightsaber on his back and made way for the door. Pushing it open and shutting it behind him he walked out the hotel and turned to walk down the busy streets of the underground. Drunks, murders, thieves...they all lived down in this wretched place. Apparently he was now one of the crowd.

As @[member="Subject 13"] passed a dark cloaked figure perked up before following. Eruna stayed far back enough for him not to notice yet still close enough watch every move me made. She'd heard about 13, how he was one of the major heads the Sith Empire wanted. Not too much detail as to why but that didn't matter to her. She just wanted to prove how good she knew, or at least thought, she was by bringing him in. Keeping the long dark hooded robe over her head she kept a close eye as she followed him. While knowing he'd have to be hurt in order for her to take him back, Eruna smirked at how mysterious he seemed with the mask he wore. Maybe before hurting him too bad she'd pry it off and see what was underneath.

(Lol, he is wearing this: http://conceptartworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/GI-Joe-Retaliation_CS_Cobra_Commander_04b.jpg )

This place was absolutely disgusting. Even with his mask on he could still smell the repulsive stench of this place...for the republic capital city they really let its gettos go to waste. 13 found himself wanting to hold his breath but he realized that would be relatively bad for him at the moment. His canine like tails swayed behind him softly as he placed his hands into his pockets...though his long fox ears where well hidden underneath his helmet he could still hear everything around him pretty well. Every footstep...every word...almost every sound echoed around him in perfect tempo. Inhaling deeply the young one soon caught the scent of something foul in the air. And he knew for certain it was not the stench of the city. No...this is another kind of stench. One he was all to familiar with. 13 paused in his tracks and narrowed his eyes thoughtfully. Turning his head over his shoulder slightly and examining the many figures behind him he snorted and continued onward. Deciding to ignore the feeling for now. After all he had important business to attend and he could not waste his time with suspicious. Although his animal instincts where telling him otherwise.

Walking onward to a large building 13 made a turn into the alleyway. Heading there to meet a contact for his next job. However when he got there he quickly realized his contact was no where to be found...not even a scent was left behind. 13 growled in irritation. He expected his hires to be punctual and for someone like 13 being late or not showing up upset him greatly.

Eruna had ducked near an open alley when @[member="Subject 13"] looked back. Once he began walking on she followed, finding that he was coming to a large building. Seeing opportunity she made her way around and reached it just as he did, entering through a window she cut open with her saber. When she went in and saw that his "contact" wasn't there and how angry he was, Eruna smirked again. Like a rat in a trap she thought to herself. Waiting for the right moment she finally leaps down towards him, a kick aimed right for his head. When she landed she drew both red lightsabers she had before removing her hood to reveal her face. She smiled as she saw how 13 reacted.

13 allowed his guard to drop in his frustration that he did not even sense the devious intentions surrounding him. He was simply looking around confused as he wondered where his contact would be. Then he heard the whirling wind of someone falling and as he lifted his head up he was surprised to see someone kick his helmet and knock him off balance. Lifting his hand up and gripping his mask he shook off the stun and looked up to see a young female rip away black robs and activate her light sabers. Underneath that mask 13's expression was that of boredom. He was not amused in the slightest way shape or form. Standing back up and regaining his posture he tilted his head at her and sighed. Wondering how the hell she found him after he had spent so long being careful he shrugged it off and turned around. Turning his back on her he walked out of the ally and paused just as he exited.

13 knew she would probably launch some sneak attack with his back turned and chase him throughout the city. They always did. So lifting a hand up and turning his head to face her he growled underneath his mask and brought his hand down. He could tell she was a padawan given her weak force signature. Meaning she was not as skilled in combat or in force abilities as he was...he was genetically engineered to surpass most with his force abilities. And being Echani he had a gift for close combat. Focusing clearly on her he would attempt to use the force to smash her into the building next to her at extremely high speed.

Seeing him attack with the force Eruna jumped out of the way before tossing her robes off, revealing her under armor he wore. Running in from the side Eruna came up and looked ready to slice him in half but, instead, faked him out and slid, trying to kick his feet from under him. Provided it worked she would get up and slam her boot on his chest. Looking down she smirked and said "Hi." to @[member="Subject 13"] as if she didn't care he tried to attack her.

(Just for future reference. If someone is a higher rank than yourself then their attack ratio and chances of their attacks hitting are relatively high xD Plus its hard for a padawan to jump out of a force attack directed on them. Especially from such a high level for user. Thus why i often get my ass kicked by Master Sith/Jedi x_x)

Apparently this women was a gift from god if she could pull off a stunt like that. Watching her as she dodged his force attack and ran around the side of him he anticipated her moves and hopped into the air to dodge her slide. Using his telekinesis to float away from her he lifted his hand again and requested for her to stop. Not really wanting to put his all into fighting a padawan he would try reason with her before looking to do damage. If she tried to rush him again...she would find herself in a heap of trouble.

(Sorry ^^; )

Eruna watched him float up as she slid. When she stopped she saw him put his hand up, making her stop and realize what he'd meant. Eruna took a moment to consider this. Maybe she should. Maybe she should take this chance and leave before things got too out of hand......NAH! She looked up to the source of light in the room, the lights, and, using the force, reached out and destroyed them all. With the entire place in shadows Eruna tried using that to her advantage in fighting him.

"You really think I'm giving up just because you do a few fancy moves?" her voice called out in the darkness. "Come on." As she snuck about she reached out and grabbed his tail, saying "Hmm. So cute." before sinking back into shadows.

Why was everyone in this pathetic universe always looking for a fight? Had they nothing better to do with their lives other than bother others? It was obvious he was not interested in becoming a pawn for the empires game and he made it pretty clear he only wanted to be left alone. After all what was it the sith were after, power? Yeah...that sounded about right. All they wanted was power and they where always willing to go by any means of getting it. Senseless killing, human trafficking. And they sure as hell did not flinch at the thought of torture. They where absolutely repulsive to him. Watching her closely as she paused and considered his proposition he frowned when she suddenly took out the lights around him. Grunting ad getting into a defensive stance his night vision allowed him to see her clearly...apparently being part animal gave him these perks. Watching as the ran around him he stood still and faced forward.

Gasping lightly as she grabbed his tail he spun around at the speeds quicker than a bullet and drew his pistol pointing it where she 'was.' Growing in irritation as he noticed she was gone again he snarled as he tail twitched behind him. Deciding to play along he lifted his foot into the air and quickly stomped down. Sending massive vibrations though the earth he watched as the ground shattered beneath him and send everything around him smashing into one another in a small earthquake. The buildings around him cracked and shook and all the loose objects where sent flying. She wanted to play? He would play.

The sensation knocked Eruna off her feet, making her fall back and land. She hissed a bit as she got back up, rubbing where she'd fallen, before seeing pieces of glass and the like flying all over. It was harder given how dark she'd made it, forcing her to duck down before it stopped. She got back up and, thinking on her feet, ran in different directions. She used her footsteps echoing all over to try and keep him off guard long enough. When she'd stopped and made her way around behind him she reached out and, staying close to the ground, grabbed his legs to trip in to the floor.

"See how you like it." she said before running back into the shadows, giggling a little.

It was clear she had a more childish way of taking this situation, showing @[member="Subject 13"] the type of opponent he was dealing with. One without much disciple.

This child was beginning to really irk him. She treated this all like a childish game and the fact he did not have the time to be playing with her he lifted his hand and placed it onto his helmet. Feeling the mechanism inside unhook he pulled it off his head revealing his face and pulled down the black face mask covering his mouth. Tossing the mask to the wall and watching as it exploded on impact 13 bared his teeth and hissed as her as she ran up to him and tripped him. Strands of snow white hair dangled in front of his bright turquoise orbs and his canine like ears swiveled atop his head as he drew his pistol. tossing it to the side and looking in her direction he used force speed to dash forward faster then the human mind could trace. Not giving her a chance to run or dodge he would unleash a flurry of jabs to her lower body, each attack aimed for a vital body part. Liver, lunges, spleen. He would attempt to hit all of these in speeds that where impossible to comprehend. If this attack failed he would use the force to pull her to him quickly and blast his knee into her lower belly. Attempting to stun her.

The only thing Eruna had time to do was gasp before the flurry of hits landed on her by @[member="Subject 13"] . She'd dropped both he sabers when enough hits had force her to try and use her hands to defend, she only managing one or two before the rest took it's toll. When it was done she felt to the ground and coughed, a bit of blood coming up from it. As she sat there, struggling, she looked up, seeing his face, and smiled.

"Just....like I though...." she said. "Cute..... and likes to.....play rough...."

13 had not expected her to let all of his attacks land but when they did he noticed the damage done to her internal organs and held back on his last few attacks as she defended herself. Watching as she dropped her sabers he grumbled and used the force to take both of them, holding the two hilts in his hand he put them into the pocket of his attire. If she wanted them back she was going to have to reach into his chest pocket to get them. 13's expression remained blank as she fell to her knees and coughed up a bit a blood...a typical effect of being struck so many times in the sensitive parts of the body. Narrowing his eyes and blushing a bit at her boorish comment he felt his ears lay flat atop his head and his tail begin to tuck. Although his emotions where well hidden it was always hard for him to hide his body language...baring his sharp teeth at her he lifted his hand and summoned his pistol back to his hand and pointed it at her forehead and stared her down. He was tempted to end her right here and now...but quickly he turned his head to see sirens in the distance and his eyes opened widely in surprise.

The police had finally decided to arrive...grunting lightly as they opened fire without warning 13 reached down and grabbed the Sith by the arm and tossed her out of the way of the fire. Twisting and somersaulting out of the way he aimed and shot his pistol at them wildly. Not really aiming to kill them but throw them off track. Moving his body like water as each laser passed him he waved his arm and launched the police cruiser into the side of a building, not blowing it up but hitting it hard enough to break it. Grumbling lightly to himself he pulled up his black face mask and looked for the women he had tossed out of the way.

(Yey epic twist xD)

"Hey...." she said, seeing what he was doing when he took her sabers. "Those are....mine..."

Next thing Eruna knew the authorities had arrived and, much to her surprise, @[member="Subject 13"] actually moved her out of the way before attacking them. She felt t the ground and rolled a bit when he'd tossed her, making her groan from the pain she already had. Not fully paying attention to what he was doing, Eruna crawled over and grabbed his ankle by the time the fight was done.

"Give them....back..." she said, looking up at him.

13's ear twitched at the sound of the groaning officers who where injured and he scoffed. Served them right for attacking him without warning. His gaze moved downward to the women as she grabbed his ankle and told him to give them back. 13 gave her a dark look and stepped on her hand and growled. Why would he give her back the weapons she had tried to kill him with? That was absurd! No. If she wanted her lightsaers back she would have to earn them or take them. Crouching down while hit boot was still on her fingers he reached down and placed his fingers around a pressure point in her neck. He would attempt to push it and knock her out, then preferably get out of this area now that he was compromised. Calling his ship by pressing the transmitter on his wrist he reached down and picked her up. Looking up as his shuttle made a landing he boarded and sat her down. Getting a straight jacket and putting it on her he strapped her down in the back and sat down. Once he reached his ship he would put her in the back on a chair. And await for her to come back to life.

Eruna yelled when he stepped on her hand, nearly crushing her fingers in the process. Next thing she knee everything went dark when he'd pressured pointed around her neck and basically knocked her out with a nerve pinch of sorts. By the time she'd awoken Eruna found herself strapped in a straightjacket with @[member="Subject 13"] right in front of her in the seat. She struggled for a bit, seeing it was on tight, before laughing a little.

"I didn't know you were into this sort of thing, hot stuff." she said from the back before looking back from his shuttle. "I think we got more coming." she noted casually as more police speeders arrived.

13 sat down in his leather chair and got his spare mask. Putting the helmet on and sighing deeply he crossed his legs neatly and folded his tail into his lap stroking it. He watched as the sith slowly regained consciousness and looked around the shuttle. She would soon realize she had no where to go even if she could escape. Hearing her once again strange comment he scoffed at her and remained silent. Looking out the thick glass at the police cruisers he grumbled something under his breath and lifted his hand. Pressing the button on the dash he ignited the hyperdrive and shot out of the district before they could really approach. Escaping them for now. They would not dare follow him outside their restricted area. Sighing deeply he looked at the Twi'lek and stared at her in silence for a moment from under his mask as he pet his tail. He was not sure what to say...or if he should even say anything at all.

When they both zipped away Eruna felt herself pushed back against the chair from the sudden force from the hyperdrive.

Once both of them were safe enough she said to herself "Good thing I had my seat belt on." Then, looking to @[member="Subject 13"] smirked and said "Aww. You had to go and hide that nice face. Shame. I was starting to like it." As he was silent with her for a moment she asked "Am I going to get my sabers back soon? I kind of need them for...you know, fighting and stuff." More silence before she looked down and said "Bet your hand will get tired petting that cute little tail for too long." Another silent moment before she said "Okay then, it's a deal. I'll pet it after you get tired in exchanged for getting my sabers back." Leaning forward she whispered "I don't have to pet the tail either. I can find other comfy parts."

(Amg...you offered pets and now you got his attention xD)

13 was honestly not use to being around other living beings. He was always the loner who never had any friends or family. He was a freak...rejected by the world and because of this he hid his face behind a mask. He remembered the beginning when he was created. Born in a testing lab and torn away from his mother...put into a cage and treated like an animal. Raised to think, live, and breath the hunt and the thrill of the kill. Eventually bloodlust became all he wanted but they seemed to contain him by putting a collar on him. Then he was made a slave for the hutt cartel and used as a fighter. Only ten years old and he held the power to obliterate almost anyone who stepped into the ring like some savage beast. Then he was saved by...his former master. Taken to the jedi and made a Padawan. But after so long of being with them even they too, rejected him. It hurt, living life without ever feeling wanted or loved. That was probably why his emotions remained dormant behind a mask. He sighed at these thoughts, ignoring her comments until she mentioned petting his tail and got his attention. Looking up at her and pausing he purred lightly underneath the helmet at the thought of being pet...it had been so long since someone had pet him and he was beginning to miss it. Then he remembered that she was only playing with him and he slightly whimpered at the realization. Turning his head away and looking at the ground her continued to stroke his tail and just continued to figure out what he needed to do with her.

Seeing how he reacted she perked a little and said "What? Does 13 feel bad? Do you think I'll bite or something? I won't.....not unless you like it that way." she grinned. When he went back to petting his tail she thought for a moment before slipping one boot off a reaching foot over to pet his tail. "See? And that's just with my foot." she smirked as she did, trying to gauge his reaction. "Come on. You already beat me. I may be ambitious but I'm not stupid."
