The Two Vias

Viathae Qarmast

Mandalorian Exile Jedi of Clan Qarmast
The training room was beautiful. The look of the area definatly had that feel of a peaceful setting, namely how natural it looked. It was quite a blessing that the Silver Jedi was not only fashionable, but ecological. Perhaps this was why the Jedi were always people of peace. It fit them, atleast that's what Viathae thinks. Voss was still a beautiful place, and she hopes that it could stay like this.

Out of all the Jedi that she had seen, one of the more interesting and weird ones was a literal bird, that was trained in the ways of the force... yes... a bird. She was rather surprised to learn about this. She never knew that a bird would be around here as a Jedi at all, and would just think that a Jedi was humanoid only, and would of never thought how one would be able to hold a lightsaber. But apparently, this is so. All Jedi come in different shapes and sizes, for who knows, maybe even an ant could be force sensitive. But that was probably unlikely. Who knows? This is a Jedi Temple, but it was still confusing to her.

Today, Viathae wanted to train her skills even more, but maybe without the trainer lightsaber. She always wanted to get into the action with her regular saber, and well, she would like to test her skills so far. Her master taught her quite a bit, but she never had it to test it out on, especially another person. Viathae held her lightsaber and begun to do some practice swings. Hmm... she was actually curious of what that bird could actually do. After all, it's just... a bird right?

Vitha held her lightsaber in the fingers on her right wing. Going up to the door to the training room she stood just out of range of the sensor and adjusted her grip. She'd be invited by apparently a Mandalorian Jedi with a remarkably similar name to her own. Never one to turn down a fight or combat training Vitha had quickly agreed. The only thing that had given her pause was the suggestion that they use lethal blades however the Avogwi was confident of her skills and had little doubt she could beat some human.

Walking forwards the door opened and Vitha entered and quickly scanned the room. Taking in her surroundings she noted that the ceiling wasn't as high as she would prefer but it was still high enough that she'd be able to operate. Changing attention back to the Mando, Vitha nodded and took in the armour. "Right shall we get this started?"

Viathae was still rather surprised that she saw that a bird was holding onto a lightsaber of any kind... She glanced at Vitha with quite a shocked look on her face. But either or, she was not going to let that birdness distract her and nodded. She activated her lightsaber, and set it to training mode, so she won't severely injure Vitha and readied her self in a defensive stance stepping forward. Viathae was a practice of Form III and she was not really the one who would go on the offense so often, and try to get her opponents from that way. "Don't go too crazy. I don't want to hurt you during this spar." she said. She was a Mandalorian, and she didn't really believed it was necessary to use training sabers, for in her culture, she was trained as if she was in actual combat. It was a survival skill, but her intent here was to practice with a fellow padawan, not kill her accidentally.

Vitha adjusted herself and noticed her opponents blade seeming to dull slightly. They weren't going to be using fully lethal blades then, adjusting her own she turned down the power so it would mostly just leave fairly minor burns which would probably be fixed in a few hours with a light coating of bacta. Dropping the blade once that was done she dropped it and nearly caught it in her talons where she activated the front blade.

"I usually don't hold back" Vitha replied and took off gaining altitude. Going up near the roof the bird began to circle around her fellow student.
