The descent into the Darkside was a long and arduous journey for Kainan Wolfe, one fueled by hatred, a desire for revenge and an indomitable drive to reshape the galaxy, so that the injustices he had to endure, would never happen again. The road to the netherworld, as they say, was paved with good intentions.
Having stumbled upon some of the teachings of Darth Traya, an ancient Sith Lord from the time of the Mandalorian Wars, during the raid on an ancient library during an event which would later become known as the Reaping of Lorrd, Wolfe would begin to search for ways to destroy the Force itself, though his studies of Traya would not expand much until he himself discovered his Force sensitivity during a shipwreck on a remote planet.
Two years passed and Wolfe's power grew along with his nation, culminating in the Invasion of Tatooine, where he had deployed a massive fleet in support of his sovereign lord, [member="Mythos"], although he also secretly had much darker plans and sought the Empire's complete annihilation. Following that battle, Wolfe proclaimed himself Darth Tacitus, Sith Lord and inheritor of Darth Traya's legacy. Seeking to emulate his role model, he had three unique lightsabers fashioned for himself, to be wielded telekinetically through the use of his Force powers.
Each of the three lightsabers is a unique design, intricately-engraved hilts fashioned from Phrik, so as to prevent them being destroyed by an ingenious enemy during a fight. Each saber's hilt is wrapped in a decorative red sash, giving the weapons an ominous appearance. Their blades glow crimson, promising horror and death. Together, they form the Triad and alongside the Shrouded Blade, they are Darth Tacitus' most feared weapons.
