The Coruscant Queen is a passenger liner. For unknown reasons, the ship drops out of hyperspace and crashes in to a planet.
The goal of the thread? Survive.
Beyond the initial set up, I have no planned anything. I don't know why the ship crashed (was it sabotage? simply a malfunction? If sabotage, why?), what planet it is (inhabited or uninhabited?) beyond that it is largely wilderness (no easy out) and *dangerous* (because what's the fun otherwise?).
Thread is open. You can be a passenger. One of the pilots that survived. Maybe the person who caused the crash! The only thing I ask is that this is, in improv terms, a "Yes" thread. Basically, if someone in the thread says "I recognize this planet, it's *insert planet here*" everyone goes with it once it's been said. If someone posts "All was going according to plan and now I would go after my quarry" then *go with it*. If you *also* want to have been in on crashing the ship? PM the person who already posted they were involved and work something out.
Maybe the ship is repairable (I like to think so, but I might be wrong!), maybe it's not. Some people are injured, it could be you! People will need to work together to survive- To repair the ship or find another way off planet, to tend to the injured, to protect the camp from angry beasts (think it's over due for one to show up? Post it!).
This could be a small thread with only a handful of people, or a large thread where smaller groups are operating independently (engine room, makeshift sick bay, scouting party).
Maybe we crashed on an inhabited planet! Maybe your character is already there! Are you friend or foe?
There's a huuuuuuge number of places this could go. The limit is what the participants can think of.
Beyond it being a "yes" thread, the only other thing I ask is to anyone joining to help advance the story. Don't just want for me (please please) to say "And now there's a rampaging Rancor! Rawr!" before helping to take the reigns. There's no DM, no planned over arcing narrative beyond this.
Survive.
And that should, at least on occasion, be tested and in question.

Things We Know -updated 9/7 - Based on the "Yes" model of things people have added to the thread IC. List will be updated periodically.
-The ship is upside down.
-There are active fires on at least some parts of the ship.
-The planet we crashed on is uninhabited by "people"- but there is at least one person here, watching.
- The planet we crashed on is (in this area at least) a "jungle" type terrain.
-There are hungry, scary things that come out at night.
-*Someone* was killed by blaster fire before/as the ship was crashing. Is it related to the crash itself, or unrelated opportunism? We don't know yet! We'll find out! (anyone who still hasn't joined and wants to be the person who did that for whatever your own reasons are can still hop in!)
-Part of the ship is opened up on one side to the jungle and thusly makes the ship susceptible to something from the outside getting in!
-There is extinguisher foam available to help put out the fires at various points throughout the ship. Each In Case of Emergency box also contains a small, hand held laser cutter.
-Air scrubbers in the back part of the ship are failing! Overloaded with smoke? Or sabotaged?
-The kid Kyra Sol found is kinda creepy!
-The MedBay has been sabotaged! Supplies have been burnt, the cryocreche has been gutted and the single bacta tank has been shattered. Some supplies will still be available, but will be limited in scope and quantity. (Did YOU wreck the med bay? Still time to join!)
