The Threads - Staff & Personal

My plan with the event, as I mentioned, is to have three main, stickied threads in the Omega forum (which will live on the forum above the public RP forum).

I will also allow members to create their own public or private threads as well to work in with this. This will mean that everyone can take part at their own speed, though the other threads will not be able to earn the same level of rewards as the ‘official’ ones.

I envisage three major plot threads:

  • A PVP thread aboard the ship to try and disable/capture/research the ship.
  • A fleeting and ground battle thread where forces attempt to break through to the ship and docking areas as well as on the planet below.
  • A story driven DM led thread doing similar to the PVP thread but in a different way.

I would be interested if any you would be interested in taking on the PVP thread to help organise. I’m not much of a PVP writer in invasions so some assistance there would be good.

For the fleet and ground battle I’ll handle that with the help of some others if needed. The aim is to have a pretty all out brawl with heavy casualties on both sides. Being essentially NPCs though, the Omega forces will likely lose which is good for all concerned and will hopefully encourage people to take casualties as well.

Rev – having only ever fought against the One Sith, are you someone I can talk to about their tech? If not, is there someone you can recommend for space, ground and personal technology?

If there’s anything you want to expand on, please post.

Running out for work, but for your last question: If it's vong tech with the One Sith, I'm your guy. But for everything else, I would consider maybe Cyrus Tregessar (spelling?) and Isamu Baelor. They are the fleeting/ground guys that I can think of that would likely know more about it than me.
