TOROLIS
Hole in the wall pub

The bar is very smoky; the high ceilings help but there is evidence of a bar fight that recently happened and that a small fire caught. The first people many would notice are a VERY large wookie, a man with 4 arms and the muscle mass to match said wookie and near the back almost too normal is a man sitting alone wrapped in mass amounts of bandages a red "X" glowing from under his hood he sits tapping his fingers and a half empty glass (by his own opinion) looking COMPLETELY bored. That man would be one most would avoid dark, mysterious and pissed off, but that was the description of the man your instructions were told to look for.
In that mans pocket lies a ticket to easy street and anything any one mans heart could desire. A map.

Jace Trent

"I aim to misbehave...
Jace brought the Defiance down on Torolis. He was there to meet with a contact regarding a job. His crew was on Captain ordered R&R on Zeltros, so it was just him. Well, him and the beautiful, but fiery Corellian woman that was seated next to him. @[member="Eliza Steele"]. She had agreed to join him on this job, and Jace had no complaints.
He ran through his post flight check and then exited the cockpit and took the lift down with his petite companion. He wore a grey shirt with his brown trousers which sported the tell-tale yellow stripe down the side. His utility belt carried his essentials, commlink, credit chips, and his trusty DL-44 which hung low on his hip and was strapped to his right thigh. He wore a shoulder harness which holstered his faithful slugthrower, but it was concealed under his signature brown duster.

The cantina itself was not hard to find. Jace would just have to find the contact among the crowd. He noticed a very large wookie, I mean who wouldn't, as well as a four armed 'human', at least, thats what he appeared to be. Jace's eyes fell on the figure in the corner. He fit the description he was give. Jace was just glad that it wasn't going to be hide and seek. Turning towards his chocolate haired companion he whispered into her ear "Thats him in the back" He nodded in the cloaked figure's direction.

Jace led the way to the back of the cantina and stopped at the end of the cloaked figures table.
"And here I thought I was the guy that always arrived early." He pointed to the empty seats. "May we join you?"@[member="Break"]

The Corellian Rose (retired)
It hadn't taken much after their initial meeting on Ord Mantell to entice the spirited Corellisi into doing a side job with @[member="Jace Trent"]. The petite smuggler liked to make credits and with nothing on her docket at the moment, why not mix a little pleasure with business while working with the ruggedly handsome fellow Corellian and smuggler. They seemed to be kindred spirits of some kind, and that was a rare find in her book.

Eliiza Steele was dressed in her usual spacer attire with a tunic/vest combo and nicely fitted trousers with a yellow stripe down the side like her partners tucked into knee-high leather boots. The dark-eyed brunette had topped it off with a leather bomber jacket instead of her brown duster as that was what Jace was wearing and didn't want them to look totally like twins. Her holstered DL-44 Heavy blaster pistol was too slung low off her shapely right hip and tied off on her toned thigh. In a shoulder harness covered by her jacket, was Eliza's back up sidearm along with a pouch on her belt that had various small demos; something she liked to use from time to time depending on the situation at hand. Also, a vibroblade was sheathed in her left boot.

After entering the cantina, Jace easily found their contact. His whispered hot breath against her ear had tickled it when he spoke, but Eliza kept her poker face in place as they approached the cloaked figure with his goons nearby.

[SIZE=10pt]Ven stood outside the cantina, glancing up at the sign for the bar, cocking her head to the right, the wavy curls of her hair shifting as she did.‘Hole in the Wall Pub’The Falleen female read, wiggling her nose, “A pub I’ve never been to, in a city I’ve never been to, on a planet I’ve never been to. This job just breathes mystery and danger.” She glanced at the person with her, her friend; a Zabrak named @[member="Krest"] . A deep and exuberant smile engraved itself into her face, “Sounds absolutely karkin’ perfect.” She meant it too. Her curiosity and excitement peaked highly at that current moment. “I’m so ready to do this, Krest. How’bout you?”[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]She was eager to get into the cantina and get started on this job. Half of her interest in being a smuggler was the pay off, the other half was the ability to explore the galaxy, meet new people, expand her knowledge, and the glorified sake of adventure itself. It had been two years since she’d left Falleen; two years since she’d faked her death and escaped into the glaxay, but no matter how long it had been, nothing had quite yet completely satisfied her lust for adventure.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]She adjusted her brown leather jacket and stuck her hands in the pockets of her black leggings, which came to end tucked in to her high brown boots. She stared at the cantina for one last moment before giving Krest one quick glance, “Let’s get inside yeah? I’m ready to get this thing up and started.” That grin was still etched into her face as she turned back to the cantina and stepped forward into it.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]It was far too smoky inside the ‘Hole in the Wall’ and even just breathing for her was difficult. She pulled the collar of her brown jacket in front of her face so she wouldn’t have to breathe it in, coughing even from behind that. Her gaze shifted and inspected each and every face and figure she could, trying to find their contact. She kept thinking over it in her head: dark, mysterious and pissed off. Dark, mysterious and pissed off. “Dark… Mysterious… And pissed off..!” She grinned as she finally happened to notice the hooded man in the back who happened to completely fit the description.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]“Let’s go say hello, eh?” Ven cast Krest a sideways glance with a smile before heading over towards the figure. She didn’t know if Krest was truly happy or interested in being here, but she hoped he’d at least help out or follow her. If he wasn’t interested, well, she just hoped he’d be come out and say it.[/SIZE]

@[member="Break"]

Krest slid his hands behind his head in his own customary fashion, shrugging at his Falleen friend. "Hole in the Wall sounds a bit iffy to me. Almost wrong." Among other things. The Zabrak kept his last thoughts to himself though, stepping in with her. He was curious himself on the job. Money wasn't so much of an issue as keeping @[member="Ven"] from hurting herself. So he tagged along for her sake, not really his own.

The wall of smoke hit him pretty hard. He frowned deeply, shaking his head. "Y'know. For having a hole in the wall they have karkin terrible ventilation huh?" He then nodded to the fallen, glancing to the figure. "Aye, lets get this started and over with." He never was a fan of such odd groups. But hey, sometimes you just gotta deal.

@[member="Break"]

The figure motioned @[member="Jace Trent"] and @[member="Eliza Steele"] to sit. A dual pitched metalic tone of a voice modulator would be the first thing noted of the cloaked figures voice. "Welcome Jace, Welcome Eliza. I apologize for our current venue. I also apologize for the fact that you will not be using or hearing either of these names for the remainder of the mission you will be known as... "
the figure trailed off as he noticed as the green and red duo made their way into the bar. As his head turns the man with 4 arms steps up to the two walking in

"Aye, I fink you will like this table right ova 'ere" He leads @[member="Ven"] and @[member="Krest"] to a private room. "My boss sends his regards" as the man leaves most would notice private room isnt any better in regards to the scent of smoke. lying on the table is a holopad with a hologram of the conversation happening at the table with a hooded man and two other figures of which you cannot make out from this angle. the conversation playing live

as the 4 armed man takes the two to the private room in the back his attention turns back to Jace and Eliza
"It seems your assistance has arrived, as i was saying you shall now be using code names your true identities are to stay hidden from this point on, am I clear? " his pitches swing low and serious "Having said that let me move on to the mission itself, within my pocket is a map. On that map there is the location to one of the most valuable objects in the galaxy. Your job is to steal that object from the wrong hands and hand it over to me. For which the payment shall be 1000000 cR for each party. Are my terms clear? " he tents his fingers awaiting your response

Ven blinks a few times, crossing her arms over her chest when the four armed man came over. She glanced at @[member="Krest"] before back at the man, nodding to him, "Very well." She follows him into the private room and frowns, not seeing their employer, at least, not until her gaze lands on the holopad with the live holocommunication feed showing above it. The Falleen's eyebrow perked lightly when the figure in the hood began to speak over the reccording.

The fact that she'd have to go by a code name didn't really bother her given she technically didn't go by her real name to begin with. She glanced at Krest, wondering how he'd take the idea of going by a codename. Wiggling the end of her nose, Ven looked back at the hologram, her arms still set over her chest as the figure went on about the map and the job.

"Your terms are loud and clear." She responds, hoping this hologram connection was two way so it wouldn't be just her talking to a picture. The fact was that this persons terms were clear and just how she was used to; clear objective, clear pay, no questions asked and done in a jiffy. Ven would want to pipe in with a 'When do we start?' but she wanted to give the others a chance to respond first.

Krest kept his hands behind his head, simply listening. There won't be much going on just yet, and he wasn't one for talking. So he followed @[member="Ven"] into the room, frowning at the hologram. Still no talking, but he'd speak up soon enough.

The Corellian Rose (retired)
Eliza let Jace take a seat while she remained standing just behind his right shoulder, thumbs tucked loosely into her utility belt easily within reach of her holstered blaster if need be. When they listened to the dual pitched metallic tone of the clocked figure's voice modulator as he spoke initially about the job particulars, the petite smuggler began to get a bad feeling. The dark-eyed brunette's curiosity had been peaked greatly when the payout was so high. Must mean the actual job would be challenging to say the least. In other words, there would be a high degree of risk involved.

When their potential employer asked if his terms were clear, Steele just kept her poker face on and would let her partner speak on their behalf. He knew the spirited Corellisi well enough now to make the decision to take the deal or not for the two of them.

Jace Trent

"I aim to misbehave...
Jace listened to the terms provided, they raised some red flags for him. No doubt, if what their host said was true, then other people were having similar meeting like this one. There would be mad dash for the item by many unsavory folk. However, the 7 digit figure proposed made Jace a little more accepting of the terms.

He paused briefly and looked over his right shoulder to his partner. He searched her face for her answered, then turned back and responded.
"Alright, we're in. But I do have one question..." He flashed a grin "What should my code name be?
@Krest @Ven @Break @Jace Trent @[member="Eliza Steele"]

The figure sat back in his seat relaxed that all of his choices had taken the deal which meant the hard part for him was over.
his voice took a calmer tone as he spoke.

"Perhaps something pertaining to a dragon? Someone such as yourself might take honor in such a valiant and strong name...or perhaps The fly? as to go unnoticed like a fly on the wall. All in all, that is up to yourself."
Now the hooded figure that was merely Break wrapped in bandages and a tattered cloth was a fair and still naive droid, but he had principles. He may be taking their names but forcing one on them they would not like was something he didnt want to do.All the same he passed forward a datapad.

"This datapad, along with the one currently stored in the to the far left air vent with your assistance holds the location and name of a very un-well known Trandoshan. Find him for me."

he looks at the camera and directly at Krest

" And you... Tell him our past contract is over."

@[member="Jace Trent"] @[member="Eliza Steele"] @[member="Krest"] @[member="Ven"]

Krest grunts. "My name is Blade. Simple as that, cause I cut stuff." For now he would feign ignorance. Be the fool, the muscle. He never was a trusting man of such deals, but the payout was immense. He could use that payout to finish the rebuilding of Mos Esley in a day if he chose. But he still felt on edge.

Especially when the voice was directed at him. Still playing the act of the muscle, he stuttered out a response, his voice gruff and dull. "I.. Aye I can do that. Anythin else ya wanna say to him as I got his attention?" Kill him. Was the first response he could think of. What else do you do with a man you break a deal with through a third party? The thought disturbed the Zabrak, but again he was the fool. His face, actions, even eyes never betrayed his true feelings.

He cast a glance down to @[member="Ven"], more or less curious on her own nickname. Hopefully she picked something good for once..

@Break @Jace Trent @Eliza Steele

Ven thought for a moment, her arms crossed over her chest as she glanced at Krest, curious as tho why he was acting strangely. She shook her head, thinking for a minute or so as the other two spoke, "I'm... Deadeye." She says after a moment, feeling confident about the name. She leaned back on her heels, listening as thsi job go a littl more complex by the second.

Jace Trent

"I aim to misbehave...
Jace sat back in his chair and took on a mock look of deep pondering....
Finally making his decision, he spoke up.

"Very well. You can call me.....Talon"

He bit his tongue to stop himself from laughing. All this code name crap was a little over the top for him, but the credits were high, they could call him sally for all he cared.

The Corellian Rose (retired)
Many names came to mind, some that were not for prime time that Jace called her, but one did stick out for the petite smuggler that she could live with.

"Wildcat… Call me Wildcat."

"If everything is in order and you have no questions about the mission you are free to go. "
Break untented his fingers and motioned them to leave, soon after the holopad shut off and the transmission ended soon he would have his prize an Arkanian dragon egg...or DNA either way he would have what he wanted and they would be none the wiser of what they have done.
the figure finished his drink and slowly got up the two burly accomplices following him through the door the figure looked back then went back to walking towards his ride. Boarding his speeder he made a call using his comm
"Inform the Overlord, we have our prize.... "

Ssoh clenched his fists as he heard that someone had begun a search for him and his crew. thankfully his connections had given him a heads up before anything had reached its peak. The person with the bounty on his cargo was still hiring and they were SLUMMING it...Obviously nothing to worry about these lesser beings would prove little threat once his cargo was on board. he watched as his men loaded a small cage the sides spewing fire as a tiny lizard fought for its freedom. Ssoh hit the small reptile with a high powered electric prod stunning the tiny dragon instantly. Not enough to kill it but enough to show the little bastard who was boss. Ssoh smiled as he thought about the haul of cash he was about to bring in. A young Arkanian dragon. Thought ot be extinct and that was nearly true after killing what was left of the beasts mother. And even her sacrifice wasnt going to go wasted DNA samples to the highest bidder and a baby for ransom. Oh how Ssoh could think of the credits that would roll in. And all thanks to one small Feth up from an anonymous contact. 7 digits was waaay too low for this job he could get that off of a single scale shoud he ask that! and he would. but first he would have to find a place to load the oncoming remains of a giant dragon.
