Aboard The "Dutchess Black" (Tantive IV Stye)

Jedi Master Krin was walking slowly in front of the prisoner, who was being escorted by two large IG-100 MagnaGuard droids. She was escorting a war criminal to the detention cell. The ships destination was Geonosis, the capital world of the Confederacy.

"Master Krin why are we being sent to babysit some criminal?" The young Torgruta padawan was anxious and wanted to prove himself.

"Padawan Tan you must not underestimate the task we are taking. This is just as important as any battle."

"It's boring though." He whispered under his breath, but from a look at Master Krin he silenced himself. Instead he turned and looked over his shoulder.

"Hope you enjoy your cell Mando man."

Disheveled and dirty, Torval looked like a man who had been on the run for a while. He stunk and, worse, he was old. Warriors didn't get old. A bloody wrapped bandage around his head betrayed a newly lost eye. The dark crust that shimmered across it looked recently dried and clotted. The wound underneath would be worse for the dressing he'd hastily covered it.

Most of the blood on him wasn't his anyway. The whole reason for sending a Jedi to retrieve a dangerous criminal, but Torval just looked like a dejected loner and hardly seemed dangerous. Not without his armor, anyway.

If a look could kill though, the boy would've dropped where he stood.

The lead the prisoner to a cell and the electronic bars closed behind him. The padawan stuck his tongue out at the mando but the Jedi Master was absorbed in conversation with one of the pilots and did not notice. Finally she turned to the prisoner in the cell.

"Torval Greeche , you are being transported to Geonosis to stand trial for war crimes." She waited to see if the man wanted to say anything.
