The Sword of the Republic (PM PoPo)

Alyesa looked at her Chief Engineer and then the Chief Engineer from Republic Engineering, a slender eyebrow would raise as she made a motion to the design infront of her. "Well, what do you think?" Neither one spoke, they would simply just stare at the design before nodding in approval.

Her own Chief Engineer, Jerimiah Erton gave her a thumbs up before looking to his counterpart and then back to Alyesa. "I think, it's going to be one helluva toy ma'am." He said with a smirk.

"Well, when do we start?" She replied.

"We already have..." He chuckled softly and his image would bow at the waist before vanishing in thin air, as would the image of the Republic Engineering Chief. Alyesa merely sighed and stared at the floating image before her. It was truly a beautiful sight, one which would inspire hope into those who had none. One which would bring peace to the Republic and an end to this tyranny which the One Sith was sewing about the Galaxy. Even if it didn't, it would prove a point.

The Republic wasn't going down without a fight.

I'm Sexy and I Know It
Popo watched as more data streamed along his holoprojector. The production was going well and what few snags there had been were dealt with quickly and easily. The biggest problem had been the most blatant: Where were they going to build this thing?

Logically, it would be a shipyard. Unfortunately, with something this size, Tenloss didn't have a shipyard big enough. Neither did Incom. The solution there was simple despite this. They'd work together. Pool resources. Share production. Bear the burden together.

Incom would host the actual construction for the ships. The two sister-ships would be constructed over two different planets, mainly to prevent the loss of both ships in the event of an attack or raid. Tenloss would help Incom build the necessary shipyards for the project, but Incom would be predominantly in charge of the actual construction of the ships themselves.

Tenloss would help with construction where needed, but mainly the company's production would be geared towards the actual components and armor manufacture.

The ship design was highly compartmentalized, which meant everything internal was redundant and sectioned off to prevent a cascade effect when damaged. Tenloss Corporation would manufacture the uncountable numbers of modules and compartments and deliver them to Incom's shipyards for installation. On top of this, Tenloss would manufacture the bulk of the specialized armor for the ships. These, too, would be assembled on site after shipment.

It was a slightly round-about way to do things, but for this sort of situation, it was nearly perfect.

Commenor and Ranklinge seemed like the best places to conduct business.

Incom Corporation would see that security increased three fold and any attempts to hinder or sabotage the projects would be met with equal force. Having ones own private security was a thing of beauty and having the ability to deploy forces across a global scale in order to secure a planet to ensure the safety and stability of said planet, was another thing of beauty. Alyesa though, remained on Fresia, to oversee additional operations of another project.

The Republic was attempting something that would work in their favor in the long run and bring about a true backbone to the core of their defenses.

Alyesa watched on the screen as the arc welders flared and the zero-g suits of the engineers, mechanics and the Tugs moved about. Her hands would keep busy with flimsy reports from Incom Corporation and her own dealings, such as how many XJ-9 Series would be fielded onto these ships and how she would contact other manufacturers when it was done and get vessels supplied. It was going to be a huge investment, one which brought Incom Corporation to such a redline that thankfully, a huge boost in sales of the E-25s and government contracts had bailed it back out. She was way beyond the green that even Project Dark Tide didn't seem to matter anymore.

Now, fielding those ships on this vessel would be important was well, unfortunately, she wouldn't be able to produce a big enough one for a Hutt...

However, she could coat his vessel in the Starry Night Anti-Detection System to help him out a little bit. She would have to retool his engines too to burn Tibanna X.

Now that would be a fun project.
