The Svivren Jedi Enclave.

The Rundown:

The Svivren Jedi Enclave has been renewed for use by the Jedi Order for the past year now. Caedyn Arenais has since refurbished the location and renewed it's technology, facilities and grounds with the financial backing of House Arenais.

Establishing lines of communication with the Outer Rim Coalition, the Enclave has already begun to aid the Coalition in humanitarian and emergency situations as well as the recent Festival of Great Trade held on Svivren itself. Limited by it's small number of members however, the Enclave has sent it's Jedi Seekers into the greater Galaxy with the hope of finding new volunteers willing to reside on Svivren and help the Jedi do what they do best in the Outer Rim, and for the allies of the Light, to continue to stand as vigils against the tides of Darkness sweeping across the Galactic Map.

Faction History:

While this faction has always been focused on the Jedi of Chaos, it hasn't always been based upon the World of Svivren.

Previously, this was The Jedi Order (TJO) faction that was created by members WolfMortum WolfMortum , Elensa Jari Elensa Jari , Romi Jade Romi Jade and Kahne Porte Kahne Porte . What we were originally aiming for back then, was a central hub for any other Jedi Characters to participate in, should they be seeking more of a pacifist approach to Jedi role-play as seen in the Movies. We weren't focus on the map game or having a military presence but rather the smaller day to day roles and responsibilities of what life as a Jedi might look like.

Much time has passed, and people have moved on, however I have retained the faction and have changed it's direction to focus on Enclave life in the Outer-Rim with much a similar goal as before. Providing Jedi with stories, training and a faction for which we can be less the saviors of the Galaxy and more the humble Jedi, peace-keepers and stewards of the light that we hope to represent.

798 ABY - The Jedi Enclave is established on Svivren.
The Enclave of Svivren was a former branch of the Jedi Order, set up to work independently, reliant upon its own hierarchy and Jedi Council for leadership. Students would begin training in the Jedi Path from the youngest ages of five and up. The Svivren Enclave was once a major Jedi position within the southern regions of the Galactic Map, where the Outer-Rim Territories would be the focus of the Council, and the assignments handed down to it’s Jedi personnel.

818 ABY - Jedi Enclave devastated by the Sith.
In the on-going war between the Jedi and the Sith Order, the Enclave of Svivren had been largely ignored given it’s position in the far south, thought to be out of reach of the Sith. An assumption that proved to be the Jedi’s undoing when the planet was hit by a surprise invasion that resulted in the loss of the entire branch with the exception of a small group, one of which was a much younger [member=Veiere Arenais].

839 ABY - The Enclave is rebuilt by House Arenais.
Having grown up upon Svivren and been trained within the Enclave under the tutelage of Andina Torsyn, Veiere Arenais would visit the old ruins from time to time in memory of the fallen he had once considered family. During one of these visits, he would chance a meeting with the young Je’daii Steward and flow-walker, [member=Asha Hex]. Reliving his past through the sharing of stories, Veiere decided to put his credits to good use and rebuild the former sanctuary.

840 ABY - The Je’daii are given ownership of the Enclave.
During a time of personal exile for Veiere Arenais, Asha Hex had shared with him her views and ambitions for the Je’daii Order whom she trained and watched over. Upon the projects completion a year later, it was the Je’daii whom would receive the generous donation, becoming the new owners of a renewed sanctuary for the training of future practitioners of the Force. Most ironic, the Enclave’s future Je’daii Steward would reside under Caedyn, Asha’s apprentice and Son of Veiere Arenais.

852 ABY - The Enclave is abandoned.
With the Galaxy once again caught up in the war between the follows of the Light and the Dark Sides of the Force, the Je’daii Order chose to abandon it’s present residings in favor of a long-term voyage aboard a Praxeum Vessel for which they dubbed The Silent Fleet. The majority of Je’daii Personnel soon vanished, with the exception of [member=Caedyn Arenais] among the few, whom remained the sole resident and Steward of the Svivren Enclave.

858 ABY - The Jedi return to Svivren.
With the Je’daii Order no longer present in the known Galaxy, Caedyn Arenais sought out the Silver Jedi Order and soon became a member himself. Though he has not completed the Jedi standard of training, his previous experience and training as a former Je’daii Journeyer has seen to his being considered on equal par to the rank of Jedi Knight. It is now that Caedyn’s attention has returned to Svivren, feeling that there can once again be purpose for the secluded Enclave there on Svivren, an Academy for the training of future Jedi and Keepers of the Peace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What’s the purpose of the Svivren Jedi Enclave?
A: The Enclave of Svivren is located in the Outer Rim Territories, a vast section of the Galactic Map that is commonly ignored by the Mid-Rim and the Core Worlds. Due to a lack of greater government or military presence, criminality in the Outer Rim is common, which subsequently offers the Jedi of Svivren no shortage of missions and assignments to take on in order to protect the innocent of Outer Rim Society and establish a peace keeping presence that others might rely upon when times are tough.

Q: Is Svivren associated with the Outer Rim Coalition?
A: Yes, as Svivren is situated within ORC (Outer Rim Coalition) Space, the faction is encouraged to work alongside them wherever required and able! They will not however assist or take part in any unlawful pursuits.

Q: Is there a structured hierarchy?
In the early days of the Jedi Enclave, Caedyn Arenais presides as the Enclave Steward, a caretaker of the facilities needs. There is presently no Jedi Council in place on Svivren, however, should the faction grow large enough, a structured leading body will need to be taken into consideration.

Q: How does the Jedi Enclave contribute to the Outer Rim?
Many assignments and communications are received via the Jedi Academy Network, The Jedi Covenant of the ORC, and across the Jedi Comport. Faction Missions (Faction Threads) will be advertised via the Missions Board, while smaller operations may be planned privately or across the faction forums.

Q: Where do I start?
Members can begin writing at any stage of their training or career as a Jedi. Students who are looking for a mentor to train, and vice versa, may look here at the Training Database section of the Enclave forums. There you will find the Master/Apprentice Requests sheet, as well as the Circles of Professions for the more experienced and established characters.

Q: Does the Svivren Enclave work alongside other Jedi on SWRP: Chaos?
Absolutely, the Jedi of Svivren are encouraged to associate with all Jedi types where possible, providing they are in service to the Light and to the Galaxy in a Peace-Keeping nature.

Q: How does the Enclave feel about War? (Player vs Player Threads).
As a Minor Faction, the Enclave seeks to deter violence wherever possible. The Jedi of Svivren are a peace-keeping force and hope to instill a sense of Order in the Galaxy. That said, individual members are welcome to take part in PvP threads, as we all have our strengths and weaknesses, our preferences and things we enjoy more than others.

Please Note: The Svivren Enclave does not condone senseless violence, and immoral behavior. Acts of unnecessary violence will bring about consequences and the Enclave will denounce those involved, seeking to see justice restored to the wronged party.

Q: What is available for me to use when I join the Svivren Jedi Enclave?
A: You can find a list of our available assets here. This list will be updated over time as our inventory grows. Members may also create their own gear/assets for the faction and request to have them added to the requisitions list.

Please note that Faction Forums are unavailable since the Site Update.
Once they're active again, links and pages will be renewed as quickly as possible.

You're both more than welcome!

In regards to factions/organizations run by Sith, I don't intend for the Enclave to get caught up in politics. This isn't a Major Faction, so the Jedi will be responding to in-character events and actions, meaning that if Sith or Factions take part in criminal activities, then it will be our job to respond regardless of who they are.

It's not our place as Jedi to dictate the lives of others, however we are here to keep the peace and maintain order in the Galaxy as best we can. I feel this goes for all Jedi, not just the Svivren Enclave, though that's just my personal opinion!

For an example:
Caedyn has family contacts in the Mandalorians, friendly contacts in the Confederacy and his very own Mother has been involved in criminal affairs recently. Should any of these groups or individuals be seen to be partaking in criminal/illicit/violent actions, then he would be forced by moral and Jedi virtues to speak out against these actions, and seek to respond to them if able to do so.

Caedyn's missed his Je'daii Master <3
