The jedi masters of the Temple Of Ilum was facing something that they hadn't faced before.Twins boys; one force sensitive another not. Mother dead after giving birth to them. It had caused quite the stir and left the twins' fate hanging in the balance, for they couldn't stay together the unsensitve one named Jonas (by her mother before she died) would have to be given away, but that would leave the other boy, Makthos who, every time his brother was not in the room with him, started crying. This showed that he had a impressive connection to the force.
It had been a constant topic of discussion among the masters for almost a week. During this many suggestions were made. Give both of them away, which was shot down almost instantly the Sith would find and corrupt the poor boy and kill his brother for equal measure. For Sith didn't value life and little Jonas would only be dead weight for them. Split the brothers anyway Makthos would calm down eventually. But that wouldn't last long. The little kid had started shattering the windows in anger. Other suggestions would prove just as ineffective, and the only apparent solution was to let both of them stay and raised in the temple.
So both of the kids stayed. Little Jonas was going to be groomed as a caretaker while his brother was going to be a jedi knight, it was unusally cruel of the masters to come up with this solution, to temper with the fate of another living being and basically ruin his life.
I could only hope that it wouldn't be wrong.
