The home of the Mortis family, an ancient citadel that had stood upon the world of Divora for countless ages. It was a stunning manor house in its own right; though there was only so much of the family home that was seen on the outside. The dark obsidian toned construct sat high upon the crest of two valleys. Nestled between where the highest mountain seemingly gave birth to the two ranges that enveloped the valley below. The family home holding sway over the valley and those that lived below. Of course over the countless years it had its own additions. A couple of landing pads and a few secret ones at that. Most of the home though was constructed into the rock of the mountain; carved out for many years to produce a vibrant and stunning home.
It was here, deep within the cavernous home that Lady Mortis waited. She was not the Hapan Queen Mother; that was a title held by another. She was in her own words 'The Spider Queen.' A name given during an event that she seemingly had forgotten, though still enjoyed the name. Sitting quietly in the dimly lit; for lack of a better term, throne room; Lady Mortis waited. Her fingers tapping against the black ebony throne that she sat upon, her eyes gazing upon the long room that lay before her. It was not difficult to find those that needed work in a troubled galaxy; even those that enjoyed the shadows such as her home needed to make a living.
Of course that all depended upon the information that she was brought or what skills those that arrived could offer. She made it a habit though to not meet them one by one. Rather she wanted them all to understand a simple fact. She was not dependent upon any singular person for her information; a tactic which should prove motivating to those that gathered.
