SLAYER OF SOVEREIGNS

STANDARD FEATURES
  • Life Support Systems
  • Communications Array
  • Shield Generator
  • Hypermatter Annihilation Reactor
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Guns of Ionite: The Slayer's deck cannons can fire refined ionized shells capable of penetrating conventional shielding.
  • Golden Hide: The Slayer sports a thin layer of phrik armor plating above its outer hull, making it even more difficult to penetrate than the standard impervium which forms the next layer beneath.
WEAKNESSES
  • Breath Runs Dry: The Slayer bristles with deck cannons, but those cannons are supplied with ammunition, which will eventually run out. Consequently, after an engagement, the ship needs to resupply.
  • Rake the Aft: As with all Imperial Star Destroyers, the Slayer retains the inherent structural weakness of having the vast majority of its guns facing fore and broadside, with minimal aft protection save point defense.
DESCRIPTION

Once a mighty Imperial Star Destroyer known as the Sovereign's Pride, the Vahlan Warlord won the ship in battle at Atrisia against the Galactic Empire and renamed it the Slayer of Sovereigns. It underwent extensive retrofitting in the Sith Worlds beyond the Black Wall. Now it gleams golden with a sheen of phrik armor plating and heavily modified weaponry. But perhaps most offensive of all is the Throne Room Spire from the Death Star, which rises from behind the bridge like some strange growth. It was severed from the Death Star by the very vessel it now sits upon and claimed as but another spoil of war by the Vahlans. Now, living shield blisters decorate the entire length of the throne room spire. These Vagaari inventions are simple zero-g plastic bubbles into which prisoners and other captives are placed, less a true shield and more a warning of what is to come from those who stand against the Wrath of Vahl.
