His imposing form hugged the wall of the small conference room as he stood in silent observation. The Sith Assassin took to the shadows well, always waiting, always watching, always ready. Despite his hyper vigilance, a small part of him had to drown out the empty static of the room in dark reflection inward. The barely lit chamber threatened to envelop his sanity as he counted minute by minute while focusing on his own pain, anger, and past failures as to not repeat such trials again. When the doors screamed open, the hooded male merely leaned back and observed.

The sharply dressed tall stature of a male human Neo-Imperial entered the chamber, he carried with him a small datapad within his right hand and strode his way across the room with an air of authority. As the man came within the light his features and attire became more prevalent and distinguished. Admiral Aldo Garrick adorned the stereotypical garb of a high ranking Imperial Admiral with modernized aesthetics to match the military junta he served and the times they lived in, the emboldened Sith ensignia atop his cap and collar piece revealed his loyalties more clearly than even the Final Dawn crest stitched into his shoulders. This was a Sith Loyalist, even more than that it was one that was entrenched well within the Unknown Regions, the realm of savages and cultists belonging to the Brotherhood of the Maw.

"Shall we begin?" The Neo-Imperial asked with a smile as he took a seat at the table.

Letifer let his eyes wander to the object of the Admiral's attention, the subject of today's meeting. Him.

A male Sith recently found after the decisive conflict at Thule effectively split the Sith Empire, the Brotherhood's raids picked up the Sith on their radar abandoning the crumbling empire. Where the cultists would simply open fire in most cases, Admiral Garrick had managed to stay their hand and convince Lord Letifer Lord Letifer to join in on the meeting after having a one on one chat with the Sith himself.

Letifer obliged, the Sith Cultist was known for his wit and good judgement. If one from the crumbling old Sith Order could ascend beyond the flawed ideals of both Sith Empire and Sith Eternal then.. well perhaps he could become a great addition to the New Sith Order. He would hear this one out..

The ship was vast, as large as some of the Sith Empire's vessles. Well, the few that the Sith Empire still own. Caligula imagined many of the larger Star destroyers and super star destroyers had either been scuttled by zealots or taken by Sith warlords. He wasn't here for a tour though. No his vessel had run into the Magnus while fleeing the crumbling empire. Caligula himself didn't necessarily believe he needed to be here. He was under the impression his corvette would simply be able to outrun the battlecruiser but the corvette's captain who doubled as his second in command managed to convince him otherwise.

Caligula walked into the conference room escorted by two of the Final Dawn's soldiers, the golden aiguillette bouncing softly on his chest next to his yellow Colonel rank plaque. He was led into a chair and in the corner of the room a shadow of a man stood there watching his every move. Caligula could sense the darkness within him. Perhaps he was Sith. Before he could think any further the doors to the room opened once more and a smartly dressed officer walked right in.

"Shall we begin?"

The words landed on the young Sith's ears and he turned to the man. "Seeing as you are the ones with ME here, well I'd be more than happy to start." he said crossing his arms, a hint of sarcasm present in his voice. A sly grin escaped the corner of his mouth. Should he be trying to antagonize them? No. Was he going to? Well he wouldn't be a Sith if he didn't.

Admiral Garrick shifted his weight back upon entering his seat, his free hand fell down against the arm rest while his dominant hand set down the datapad he brought with him into the chamber. The eyes of the Sith Cultist were dull like the life had been drained from him, his mannerisms was easily one of Human High Culture upbringing among what would once be described as the apex Imperial stereotype. His fingers rolled back and pressed against the table in a wave like motion.

“The Empire is dead. The Old Sith are being hunted down, decreed obsolete by the New Sith Order. With the schism coming to a close.. well.. one must tie up all loose ends. Adaptability is something our masters believe is a necessity in all converts.. those who cannot see the future.. must die.”

His hand stopped, falling flat against the table.

“Let’s start with your name and go from there.. your place in the Sith and your specialities. Anything that distinguishes you from the rabble as it were milord.”

Caligula sat in the desk with his arms crossed, his face still in a scowl as the Admiral spoke. Yet behind the scowl Caligula saw truth in the man's words. The Empire was crumbling, that's why he had left in the first place. He just couldn't make it seem like the Admiral was right just yet, his ego demanded he put up a fight. That was until Garrick mentioned one word,

"Milord."

Caligula had never been referred to as a Lord and his demeanor broke just for a second before returning back to his scowl. As the Admiral finished speaking Caligula leaned forward slightly and opened his mouth. "Very well. I'll grant you the privilege of knowing about me. I am Caligula, a Sith Knight last I checked." he continued, sarcasm still present in his voice. "I studied within that rotting empire to be an Alchemist, one that specializes in both the living and steel. I made a whole manner of monsters for my last master. But I am destined for more than being a mere cog in a machine. This I know yes, I have seen it. The other young Sith seek to appease masters, climb their way up slowly like worms. They do not seek true power or they do not have the ambition, unlike me." He finished his gloat off.

His attention turned back to the man. "Now if I may ask, who exactly am I dealing with. My captain told me the Maw but this is no squalid raider ship." he said leaning in slightly. Caligula seemed calm when he spoke, perhaps a hint of annoyance. "You speak of a New Sith Order, something we've heard whispers of within the Empire." Caligula may be arrogant but he wasn't stupid. He was onboard their ship and his own vessel, docked and boarded by the Final Dawn. Any ounce of information he could gather could be important.

The Final Dawn Admiral nodded his head in interest, his cold stare locked eyes with the Sith on the other side of the table. All that time the man spoke not once did Garrick turn to seek validation from the figure at his back. The hooded boogeyman watching with cold detraction from the discussion, his emotionless mask hauntingly facing forward the entirety of the time. He positioned himself like a hammer ready to drop, he radiated pain and anger that was only fed by the emotions of those around him.

Admiral Garrick smiled with a wide grin, “Praise Locphet.. I’m glad you’ve been made aware. This will be a simple matter then.. The whispers you heard of were correct, if not watered down. The man at my rear is of the New Sith Order, one of the many that have been hunting down your former comrades.”

The Cultist reached out and stretched his arms forth, gesturing around the room.

“The Final Dawn, the reign of a Final Empire that will rise from the ashes of the Brotherhood’s crusade across the stars. When the galaxy ends.. we will pick up the pieces. The Sith have been reborn.. only ambition and power will remain as all weakness is purged. The New Sith do not feign such trappings as the Old, to become a Sith Lord one must slay their own master as would an ancient member of the Sith. To acquire power one must be willing to seize it, it will not be bestowed or granted at another’s favor. We the loyal subjects of the Grand Plan of the Sith serve in reverence of the Dark Side. We have been with the Brotherhood since the beginning, working at our master’s bidding to push their crusade.”

The Cultist smirked, “You milord.. are being scouted and simultaneously.. judged.”

Sitting there with his hands clasped together he continued listening as Admiral Garrick spoke. He looked to the Sith Assassin skulking about in the shadows and wondered if this man was any better than the Sith he had been a part of. They talked of purity, could it be true? He would have to test himself, eventually. Caligula turned back to Garrick.

As the Admiral finished speaking a grin escaped the corner's of the Sith's mouth. The Sith had always one for schemes but this was grand. The raids of the Maw which ravage the core worlds, the destruction of Csilla, could this all really be masterminded by more than those savages?
"It must be. Its surprising enough those Maw savages could even conjure up complex thoughts." he thought. The promise of power was a tempting one, and a grand scheme even more so. Now all he had was past their little selection process.

Caligula straightened his uniform in his seat before speaking.
"Your Final Dawn and this New Sith Order are ambitious. You seek to claim the galaxy." he said before turning to Letifer. "Colour me interested." he continued. "If you want monsters, weapons or mindless drones, well I can make them. I'm sure you are aware of the wonders of combing modern technology and Sith Alchemy. My Master may have abandoned but make no mistake I was still knighted."

There was an unspoken sense of agreement and admiration on the face of the Final Dawn Admiral as he listened to the words of Caligula. The Neo-Imperial was pleased with what he was hearing, as a disciple of the Church of the Dark Side he was zealous in his devotion to the revered Dark Side of the Force. The ability to utilize the arts alchemical was an astounding boon to be utilized among the New Sith Order he could only assume.

Taking a brief look back at his colleague in the back, the Sith Cultist looked for a seal of approval from the Sith that mentally recorded all that transpired beneath his gaze. The stoic, quiet Lord Letifer Lord Letifer remained still almost lifeless. His arms crossed, uplifting his robe to reveal the chrome cylinder mounted along his belt. He lowered his head slowly and rose it into a nod, kicking off the wall slowly to approach the duo at the table.

“You are a promising addition to the New Sith Order milord, I expect to see you pass their test with flying colors and return as one of the masters.”

Masters. Yes he referred to the New Sith Order as a whole as the revered masters of the Final Dawn and of himself. Arising from the table to his feet, the Admiral bowed his head and made way for the door. Letifer on the other hand stood in silent observation before offering a hand in gesture toward the doorway.

Caligula stood up as the meeting was adjourned and the shadowed figure approached. The revelation of his lightsaber put Caligula on edge and he readied himself. But the words he spoke offered some comfort. It meant he would live. Of course he would live. He was Caligula, destined for greatness! Not only would he survive but the word floated around of becoming a master. Caligula's grin widened and he replied. "I expect then we shall be seeing a lot more of each other."

The Sith would then walk out the door when prompted to, his walk still as pompous as ever. He pulled out his commlink and spoke into it. "Captain. Do you read?" he said softly. A panicked voice spoke on the other side. "Well? are we getting out of here alive?!" Caligula shook his head. Lesser beings worrying only about themselves. "Calm down you fool of course we're getting out of here alive. I'm Caligula, a Sith Knight! Remember?" a quiet sigh of relief or annoyance was heard from the commlink. "These people we're dealing with are far more powerful than we thought. Which is why I've taken the liberty of joining us up with them." he finished off before turning off the commlink before the Captain could offer any protest. It wouldn't matter either way, Caligula was determined that this would be his story. Perhaps now was the time for his rise to fame and riches. Only time would tell.
