The Shadows of the Sith (Open to people on Coruscant)

Long ago, there were the Sith. The purebloods, not the human-sith hybrids we knows today. They were powerful, able to fendoff an Infinite Empire by themselves. They would be conquered by the Dark Jedi, but that made the Sith stronger. The Dark Jedi brought them to war, and war makes Sith stronger. A young Sith, named Rail Gran, would go leave for war. Sadly, he had an accident which locked his ship in hyper-sleep. For thousands of years, he remained in stasis. What awoke him is unknown, but he is here.

He awoke aboard his vessel, surprisingly intact after thousands of years of floating in the Korriban system. His instinct told him to fly into the center of the Galaxy. He felt a presence that he needed to see. This power was beyond the power of any Jedi or Sith he had ever met. Whatever it is, he must obey it. And so he was off, to Coruscant. The Galactic Center.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A sleek and black ship landed in an area of Coruscant long uninhabited. The Works they called it before feral droids and mutants prowled through it. Gran knew well enough that they were there, yet they didn't concern him. The world itself did. Even if you are weakly connected to the Force, you would feel the world's suffering and desperation. It was hungry, angry, and in pain. It felt as if Gran were home after so many years. As the tall, red, and lean figure would leave his ship, an ancient utility droid would follow behind.

Gran would prepare his long and double ended blade," T3-10, be on guard. This world's energy gnaws on my mind. The beasts and machines feed off of this very connection. They would rip you asunder if they met you. Stay close, vigilant, and careful. I mustn't alert the world of my presence, so we go on foot until we reach our destination. The Republic the Jedi mentioned seems to have fallen long ago, for this new order controlling it seems... evil. That is all I can describe. "

The droid would answer with confused beeps and bleeps, and the red head draped in long black hair would nod. They would continue and Gran would hope they wouldn't get interrupted. He doubts anyone understands the Sith language.

The sleek black ship passed over Cerasi's head, and her eyes turned up to stare at it. She knew the direction it was heading. That area had been abandoned a long time ago. Some inner war in the lower factions kinda thing. The military police quickly sorted it out, leaving no one behind. The ones in the conflict had been killed. The unfortunates caught in the crossfires were relocated. So what was a ship doing there?

Curiosity got the better of the young girl and she headed in the direction it landed. The inhabited and uninhabited parts of the area were separated by a long wall. Cerasi had no problem leaping over it, using the Force to push her up and over. She landed on the other side, immediately sprinting into the shadows of a building. As she snuck around the edges to get a better view, she pulled out a small metal rod, about a ft long. She didn't activate the weapon, but kept her thumb near the trigger. She didn't know what she was dealing with. She had to be cautious. She clung to the wall until she saw the ship. Leaving it was a rather imposing figure, as well as a T3 droid. The man spoke to it, words she couldn't recognize, and she heard the faint beeping of the response. She could understand binary, but the droid was too far away for her to hear what it said.

Rail sensed the use of the Force nearby, which alarmed him. He calmed quickly and remained curious. He quelled the curiosity, for he had a quest. The T3 unit claimed there was a female in his area, but Gran had no care. The inhabitants wold notice the ship and in time would find it. Pulling out his ancient sith blaster, Gran said in Basic," If you really are curious, I am indeed a Sith. Not those false Sith Lords, but a pureblood. Tell me, what is this world? Why is it so angry? "

The man spoke to her, claiming that he was a Sith Lord. She hadn't met a Sith before. She hadn't even heard much of them. The private tutors her parents brought in for her didn't speak much of them. Still, the man knew she was in the area. It would be stupid for her not to greet the new arrival. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the shadows. As she walked out of the shadows, her grey boots were revealed first, then with each step she took, more and more of her was revealed. Her grey suit, her hand gripping the rod, her black hair with the stunning blue streak, and her face.

"A Sith, eh? What's a Sith like you doing here?" He was asking about her planet. Well as a local, she was okay to oblige to his questions. "This planet is Coruscant. And..." She shrugged. "It's been like that for as long as I can remember. Lot of crime, lot of power imbalance." Her clear blue eyes flicked to his T3 droid.

The Sith realized that she may think he is speaking about the userpers of the name "sith" and quickly declared," The race. Not the class. And this is Coruscant? My King warned me of this place when the Jedi came. He told me that the world was the home of the Republic. It was to be feared. It seems as if a new order rules. They feel as if they are Dark Jedi. The ones who came to Korriban all those years ago. "

The T3 unit then beeped out that his master was saying to much, but Gran quickly silenced him.

[member="Cerasi Kent"]

Cerasi stared at him. She didn't know what he was talking about. Sure she had heard the names before. Sith, Jedi, Republic. Didn't matter. "Those mean nothing to me." She simply said, her grip tightening on her rod. "I'm not a Jedi, and I'm not in the Republic." What else was needed to be said? Nothing. She took a few steps closer. For some reason, she felt like the Force was...calling her to him. She didn't even know his name. It was so strange. "Who are you anyway? Uh..." That was probably informal of her to address a 'high and mighty Sith' as such. "I like your T3." She chuckled. "And I don't think you're saying too much. Well not too much that I'd know anyway."

[member="Rail Gran"]

Rail then realized he had lost his manners too in his hyper-sleep," My apologies, my name is Rail Gran. All the stuff I am talking about probably isn't even in the history banks anymore. And thank you, T3-10 has been at my side for a long time. "

T3-10 chirped happily about being recognized. Gran didn't even bother this time.

[member="Cerasi Kent"]

"Cerasi." She sensed something different about him. Maybe it was that pull from the Force. Most people called it a gut instinct. Or fate, destiny. Cerasi wasn't sure what exactly it was. But this man intrigued her. "So you're a Sith?" She asked again, crossing her arms over her chest. "I haven't heard much about the group, let alone the race. But from what I did hear, all Sith are evil." She knew she was crossing some kind of line saying that, but she couldn't hold back information. She felt like that would be betrayal. Why was he making her feel so weird?

"But that's just what I heard. I prefer to learn things through personal experience."

[member="Rail Gran"]

" Evil? You could say that, for we are so close to the Dark Side. But I always believed that there is no sides in the Force. The powers are not inherently good or evil, until you use them for such. But that is simply my belief and I simply have no real voice here. My connection feels alien to this galaxy, and I will take time to come back to the power I once held. ut do not worry, I am not one of the Sith Lords or any of their acolytes. "

The Sith's scarlet face seemed to show a sign of mild confusion. He had already forgotten why he was here. As if Fate would decide, a small shift in the Force happened. The power he sensed was far off world at this point, in a world he has no idea exists. The T3 unit has noticed this as well and expresses concern, saying that they may have to leave on a journey across the galaxy. A foreign galaxy, so changed by the past thousands of years. Gran shook his head.

[member="Cerasi Kent"]

Cerasi nodded, taking in everything he said. "So then why are you here?" The little droid beeped and her gaze flicked to it before going back to him. "And where do you need to go?"

[member="Rail Gran"]

Gran waved off his droid, which was whining about things that didn't matter at the moment, and responded,"The truth is, I don't know why I am here. I felt a presence, and I think I needed to find it. Where there is power, there is an answer. I guess I am here for an answer. But... I don't know this world. I don't know where I must go to find my answer. I have no knowledge about anything in this galaxy, for I have been lost for a very long time. "

T3-10 beeped out how it has been awake for all the years they have slept, but Gran said it meant nothing. A stationary droid cannot learn the galaxy.

[member="Cerasi Kent"]

"Well," Cerasi took a few steps forward, tilting her head up slightly to take in his entire imposing height. "Maybe I could help? I've lived here my entire life. I could show you around." She flicked her hair slightly, the blue streak flipping up to move it out of her eyes. Turning, she tucked her weapon back into its holster. "C'mon, let's get out of this ghost town."

She would make her way to the wall, hoping that the Sith Lord was right behind her. When they reached the wall, she would Force push herself, flying up onto the top of the wall. When she was up, she turned to watch the Sith. She didn't know it, but even though she demonstrated a small little feat, the amount of Force she gathered to her to lift her up was huge. If only she knew how to fully use it.

[member="Rail Gran"]

The tendrils on the sides of Gran's face twitched, she could use the Force. But she is not Jedi or "Sith". What an odd feat. Gran, thought he was unable to use his own Force, but when he came to leap over the wall his power left him a few meters above it.

" You have impressive power going into that leap of yours. How are you not known by the rulers of this world? The very balance of the Force of Coruscant shifts when you use it. Either the rulers are inept, or you are very well hidden by the angry Force of this world. Just by being in your presence, my strength already begins to return to me. In time I may train you to use it. You may become very powerful. But, I sense you have no wish to be in any order. Do not worry, I have no allegiance in this galaxy. "

T3-10 beeps angrily, saying his master had no time to accept any sort of apprentice. The young Sith answered with an obvious," Of course I have time. There isn't anything beyond this journey that occupies me. " The droid silenced it's complaints when it knew it's master was right.

She turned to him as he complimented her abilities. The wind had picked up, tousling her black and blue hair. She was a rather attractive young woman, even if beauty was something she didn't focus on. When he questioned her, she shrugged. "I guess I'm not important enough to look for." She turned to make the leap down, but something stopped her. A little voice of conscious telling her that she should tell the full story. Groaning with annoyance, she turned back to face him. "I ran away from my home. I guess my parents reported me dead because the search parties stopped coming." She reached up to scratch the back of her head. "I guess they'd rather have a dead daughter they can grieve over for the cameras, than a rebellious alive daughter who 'puts a stain on the family name'."

When he offered to train her, she turned back around, wrapping her arms around herself in a hug. "I don't know." She paused, taking a deep breath. "My place is here. As much as I want to leave the planet where my family has any hold over me...these people." She stared down at the impoverished citizens just trying to get by. "They need me. If I leave then what will happen to them?"

[member="Rail Gran"]

" My quest does not take me off world. I would have no reason to leave. This planet is the beating heart of this galaxy and so I must stay. And, your past seems unfortunate. I hope you've let that go, for the weight of the past keeps the strongest from reaching the top. "

The Sith then ran his 3 fingered hands through his hair, " I suppose you were going to be trained in the past, but things led to you escaping. You don't need to tell me about that. Sometimes secrets keep you from reality. I understand if you feel that way. I feel the same at this very moment. "

T3-10 beeped out that they should stay, and that his master should find food. He hasn't eaten in 3 days. Gran realized this too, with his stomach growling loudly. With a uick search, he found some credits in his pockets. Ancient credits given to him by the Dark Jedi.

[member="Cerasi Kent"]

"You're hungry, aren't you?" She tilted her head a little, her eyes trained on him. The whistle from T10 confirmed that. A little smirk lifted one corner of her mouth. "Don't worry, I know a guy." She stepped back, leaning back too until she was falling backwards to the inhabited side of the fence. As she fell, she reached out with the Force, spreading her arms out to either side of her as if to get a tighter grasp on it. Her fall was slowed and she made a neat touchdown. The heels of her boots clacked against the pavement as she righted herself and she stared up at Rail. "Are you coming?"

Once he was next to her, she would lead the way through the poverty and crime ridden underbelly of Coruscant.

[member="Rail Gran"]

-Okay, I've been gone for a minute. Woops-

Gran's mouth formed into a grin," So this is where you live? What a place. I think I can smell everyone in here. Not a great smell, but at least it's easy to know people are here. "

[member="Cerasi Kent"]

She shrugged as she led him through the streets. A few passer bys gave Rail weird looks, but when their eyes landed on Cerasi, the look of confusion faded and they went on their business. Cerasi took him to a shack with a large window facing the street. A greasy looking Weequay peered out at her. "Hello, Vaz." Cerasi gave the man a warm smile, standing on her toes in order to see a bit better over the counter. "Can I have two of the usual?" Vaz nodded and turned. He prepared something before sliding Cerasi two dishes full of food. "Thank you," she reached for her credit clip. "Oh no," the vendor held out a hand to stop her. "It's on the house." Cerasi gave him a slightly disappointed look. "I can't do that."

"Sure you can," the Weequay smiled. "Without you, my family would be on the streets. So it's on the house." He reached through the window, clapping her on the shoulder. "Well okay. But you can't stop me from leaving a tip." She placed some credits on the counter. When Vaz removed his hand to collect the money, she took the food, thanked him, and left. The credits she left as a tip was the same price it would have cost, plus a bit more. She handed [member="Rail Gran"] one of the disposable cartons.
