Towers groan -- buckling as they collapse, joining ruined capital ships scattered across the surface, as if the graveyard of leviathans.
Coruscant burns under the dark crimson storm. The Galactic Empire has fallen. With that, the First Conclave was concluded, and Mercy's Kaggath of the Core-Emperor ended. His vast holdings within the Deep Core and the Jewel itself are Hers. And though they might not agree... those remnants broken and scattered... they are hers too. A truth they will learn to accept, in this life, or under her rule in the next.
Let it be known: Don't fuck with Star-Arm.
But of course, this wasn't all about her. Was it? No -- there is the entire wealth of conquered worlds to consider. Fortresses, ecumenopolises, staryards, imperial and royal legacies. Beautiful sights. Hell, sometimes a cool name is worth fighting over.
Does it make sense? Because this is exactly how the Sith Covenant thinks. This is exactly how the Sith Covenant operates. If you're expecting a brutal machine built on next-level efficiency, then you're dead wrong.
The Core will not be rebuilt. It will be extracted. The Sith Covenant will not become an Empire; it will become an Empire's mausoleum.
At least... these are among the questions, thoughts, and goals that drive the Triumvirate. But let it not be said that Sith don't get a voice.

What rules to give a damn about and which ones to throw by the wayside. The Second Conclave of the Sith is the immediate follow-up to System Shock. This story is a way for ALL members of the Covenant to shape the major faction's future. This is a great thread to jump into for new and returning Covenant writers, as well as those who participated in the invasion.
