The men who were about to be blinded and have their faces marked by the Captain's vibroblade, and bear the eternal scar of this battle on Kaeshana, would go on to live in infamy. Those twenty men would forever henceforth be known to the galaxy as The Scarred. They would remain the Galactic Alliance's most devout followers, and would be an example of the brutality of the conflict on both sides.

Name: The Scarred
Intent: Create a small, elite unit based off events in the Kaeshana Rebellion
Affiliation: Galactic Alliance, Trextan Voidstalker
Availability: Unique
Quality: B
Type: Special Forces
Strength: Platoon
Description: During the battle of Kaeshana a group of captured Alliance soldiers were maimed by the First Order after their capture. They were found in no-man’s land by Trextan Voidstalker, being led by the Force, and returned to a GADF medical facility. After the battle they formed a new unit to operate with the Jedi Justicars of the New Jedi Order. Their new cybernetic eyes were connected into the GADF battlespace network. This enables each member of the unit to share visual information and to have tactical information mapped onto their view.

If mapping data is available this can be projected onto what a member of the Scarred can see, which is especially useful in urban environment. Enemy units that have been identified can be projected onto the view, with target information such as combat status and priority, even if the soldier cannot directly see the enemy.

Hardened by their ordeal, these men are unlikely to ever retreat unless ordered to do so. They are exceptionally loyal to the Jedi Whilst the unit will grow beyond the original group of men and women returned to the Alliance, those with their own eyes are furnished with tactical goggles to enable them to share information in the same way.

They are at their most effective working in urban or enclosed environments in small fire teams of three to four and generally operate in the role typically occupied by Special Forces. They’re trained to carry out hostage rescue, assassination, infiltration and other delicate missions.

These men and women are a truly deadly foe that should give any force pitted against them pause. Excellent writing, plenty of development in my book. Approved Pending Secondary.
