Description: A great saber developed for Xhinx's legacy. Used for combat, a tool, and anything useful. Normally used as a secondarly form of combat, as Xhinx prefers his sorcery skills. Nothing special about the saber, other than its pure black appearance and its intent to send a message a fear.

Right off the bat the first thing I have noticed is you are requesting a crystal that is borderline unique, as seen in the rulings of lightsaber crystals and their effects & rarities on the board. In order for me to approve this with the Bane's Heart Crystal I will need a substantial thread involving the obtaining of this crystal from either a reputable source or from some location. (I suggest finding a treasure hunt and hopping aboard, you may find some rare crystals in one, which may include a Bane's Heart.) A Bane's Heart crystal also does not have the effects you outlined, the electrified blade is the recognized effect, and not even the wiki makes any mention of the blade not being able to be wielded by someone else or it not being able to be used against the wielder. (Darth Zannah, the person whom Darth Bane gave the crystal to, had a saber with it and later on during the clone wars that same saber fell into possession of a dark jedi whom was killed by General Grievous.)

I also want an explanation as to how a standard length saber weighs 7 kg, when any other saber made of durasteel weigh 1 kg even when longer. If this includes increasing the length of the hilt, then so be it. Also, please include the length of the blade. (Average saber blade length is 130 cm, shoto sabers are roughly 60-70 cm, and lightclubs(great saber) project up to 3 m in length.) For perspective, a lightclub weighs on average about 5 kg.

Approval Without Development Thread
  • Exchange Bane's Heart Crystal with something else that isn't borderline unique. (There are likely only a handful of these crystals across the galaxy considering their rarity and their status as borderline unique).
  • Remove the associated perceived effects given to the blade from the crystal.
  • Adjust the weight to make sense for the size.
  • List the saber's blade length.
  • Replace Pyronium with another metal, due to its extreme rarity.
Approval With Development Thread
  • Include a 25 post quality discovery thread for the crystal.
  • Remove the "only usable by Xhinx" effect, as this crystal does not have the ability to not work for others, and it can be stolen - sources for this being Darth Zannah's saber that was used by someone several thousand years later with the same crystal.
  • Remove the "small chance for force users to resist" weakness - this is unnecessary, the Bane's Heart electrical effect is recognized.
  • Adjust weight and length to make sense.
  • List the saber's blade length.
  • Include a 15 post quality obtaining thread for the Pyronium, as it is an extremely rare precious metal.

In the wiki found here http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Bane%27s_Heart_(crystal) it states "When tuned to be used in a lightsaber, it caused that lightsaber to release electrical discharge and made it difficult for anyone other than the rightful owner to use the lightsaber." (Third introduction paragraph)
Also this has been approved in the past, but due to a breach in the website a lot of my content was lost. The approval mainly on the account of it being an artifact and rarely used for combat.
I will now edit the weight and length, and start the editing.

The link I mentioned above is the board's ruling on lightsaber effects. The "difficult to use for another wielder" does not mean it is impossible. If you read the first paragraph in that page it states, clearly, that another dark Jedi used Zannah's saber (which used this crystal) and it was then used by Grievous after he killed said Jedi. You may request [member="Spencer Jacobs"] to assist you with recovering lost work, but I will need a development thread for the procuring of the crystal, as it is considered semi-unique and I have no way of knowing if you had this submission approved before the board wipe.
