Kay-Larr
Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay stood outside of her tea shoppe (in sig), tea cup in hand. She wasn't in the doorway. Instead she was off to the side. A soft breeze blew by, gently moving the branches and leaves of the trees. It was a picture perfect day. So far, at least. The start of the day was never a harbinger for the rest of it, however. So she could hardly judge how it was going to go.
A week ago she put in a call for people to run a difficult errand for her. That errand was to go to Iego and pick up some reeksa root. Normally Kay would have gone herself, but it was right next to the Sith Empire and after what happened to Mandalore, there was no way that she was going to get herself that close to death. She had escaped it's grip too much already. One of these days she'll fail. But for the moment she wanted to delay it.
Two people had answered her inquiry. One by the name of [member="Gray Venasir"] , and the other by the name of [member="Nej Tane"] . Whether they would be able to find their way to her shoppe on Altiria was anyone's guess. It was a big galaxy. Other offers could have been made to them, ones that were either closer or offered more pay.
But she could hope.
"You're probably wasting your time, Kay-Kay."
She shrugged her shoulders as Lord Mayhem sat himself cross-legged on a big rock. "Maybe. But it won't change my mind for getting some fresh air."
"When no one shows you can always hit the underground or the black market."
"Perhaps. But I figured this might be cheaper."
The Arkanian scientist laughed. "You think funding an expedition is cheaper? I think you've gone a bit crazy there, Kay-Kay. What do you need the root for anyways?"
"You know what it was used for in the past, Mayhem. I just want to be prepared."
There was a twinkle in his eyes as he grinned. "We're not creating a plague, now are we?"
Kay looked to him then, sipping her tea before giving another shrug of her shoulders. That in itself caused Mayhem to give a hearty, long bout of laughter while she just kept a vigil, waiting for people to arrive.
That is if they were going to arrive at all.
