Description: For those looking for a kick ass light phrik plated armor the Rogue is for you. It's a great for defecting sabers and blasters and can hold up against slug throwers to an extent, so if you're part of the elite shoppers you might be able to land your hands on one of these.
How it's built. Starting with the base layer the thermo body glove wraps around the user and soon the next component is added which would be the phrik plates. They are your standard forged plates with an added lining of ballistic shielding to their inside and outside which is then painted over with the armor's unique paint job. Since the plates of the armor are rather thin they need the additional lining in order to protect from slugs that would pierce the plates otherwise. The helmet goes through the same process but is given an Agrinium faraday cage mesh to help diffuse ion energy fired at it to keep the HUD running. Overall it's built sturdy and with quality.
Power. Lightweight is what this armor has going for it along with enough coverage against lightsabers in vital areas. The phrik is lined with ballistic shielding which gives it added protection against slugs. It will give you exceptional coverage against lightsabers and blasters and basic protection against slugs, overall there's not a lot else that needs to be said about its protection.
Drawbacks. There are a lot of vulnerable areas on the armor, the belly area is protected against slugs from the ballistic vest, but there is no phrik plating only a light mesh that can only hold up against glancing strikes and slashes. A direct stab with some oomph in it to the gut will pierce the armor, the armor also has the same weak spots on the biceps, triceps, inner thighs, back of the knees and the small of the back. While the phrik mesh can stop heavy blaster bolts and if you're lucky a single assault rifle grade bolt this goes for slug throwers as well they are weak spots that can be exploited, and used against the wearer. Ion weapons will also disable the electrical components on the body but the helmet can withstand small arms ion weapon fire. Also it does need to be stated that large caliber snipers or handguns around .50 caliber or .308 will wreck the armor since it is light armor.
Summary. A badass piece of armor for anyone looking for a phrik light weight armor system. It will give you great protection and it's added features can possibly save your life.
