Description

The Ring of Aspiration is a relatively simple creation undertaken by Stargo Forge Works. In the ever-chaotic Galaxy, wielders of the Force have been appearing quite frequently; and many have been prematurely thrust onto various fields of battle. In response to this trend, the CEO of the corporation saw fit to craft something of benign purpose: to assist the fledgling apprentices across the Galaxy. To this end, the Ring of Aspiration was crafted.

Aesthetically speaking, these accessories appear as hammer-forged bands of silver. Each is fitted with an emerald-hued gem that has been treated with a light application of Sith Alchemy. Due to this, the presence of the Dark Side is only faint and therefore does not have a glaring corruptive "aura." However, it is to be noted that constant usage of the Ring (especially while exhausted) may gently nudge its wearer to Fall.

That said, the main feature of the Ring of Aspiration may very well make the risk worth it. The gem, as aforementioned, is treated with Alchemy in order to manifest a simple pair of properties; with the activation of each requiring only focusing on the Ring via the Force. The primary property of the Ring is its ability to aid the wearer in clearing his or her mind of distractions. While the magnitude of said assistance will not allow an apprentice to ignore such things as grievous sums of pain, it will allow the individual to focus past common distractions (such as copious sums of noise, nervousness, etc.)

In addition, each gem acts as a "one-shot" reservoir of additional Force energy. The total sum of energy stored within the Ring is not nearly enough for usage in advanced techniques, but it is adequate enough to give an apprentice a vital boost when the situation demands. (For example, a moderately fatigued apprentice might not have the energy to hoist an object telekinetically. However, the Ring could afford the means to do so. Once.)

Once the energies within the Ring have been exhausted, they cannot be replenished save by returning the item to the corporation. Of course, due to interplanetary shipping times, a depleted ring could take weeks to be refilled. However, even if depleted, the clarity affect will persist.

In terms of drawbacks, the Ring of Aspiration is not an invincible accessory by any means. Due to being composed of a light application of Alchemy, it is not resistant to lightsabers, blasters, or any other weapon. Furthermore, the traits of the Ring would make it literally useless for any Force wielder of ability higher than an Apprentice; for by the time one ascends to Knight level, the ability to focus through light distractions is commonly present. Furthermore, the Ring's reservoir would be akin to a mouthful of water to a dehydrated individual when utilized by a Knight or Master: it simply wouldn't do much.

In short, the Ring of Aspiration is an accessory devised to give apprentices Galaxy-wide a small, helping hand as they continue on their journeys with the Force.

I am weary of this, especially in something that is of minor production. I am not one to question logistics, but how will you handle the demands for this in terms of supplying enough energy through the force in each of these? This isn't quite about the credits, moreso of those whom are making it and supplying it with the force. It seems like quite a feat, I would prefer to see this under limited production.

I will be keeping an eye on this in the future, be wary of those you sell this to, and I suggest having this "go out of stock" at some point in the distant future.

Approved, pending secondary.
