The Return Of The (Spice) King

Before
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It began with the shift of leadership within the Hutt Cartel. Perhaps a sign of weakness, but whatever it was force the mighty [member="Sempra the Hutt"] to step down from his position. This forced the change in leadership, for better or for worse, Cadan wasn't taking the chance.

The Galactic Republic moved swiftly. Their strike even reached out to Kessel, the home of the Spice King, Cadan Tazi. The battles were long lasting. Blood of both the Republic and the Cartel's soldiers stained the sands.

Steam rose from the barrel of Cadan's DL-18 blaster, the bodies of two Republic soldiers laid in a pool of their own blood at the entrance of his small office. A trickle of blood ran down the side of the Duro's large head, the effect of a lucky shot by the soldiers. Now the Spice King began to charge towards the space port. He knew he had the BT-7 Thunderclap dubbed the JT-Asmodium docked there. The path was littered with bodies from both sides, most laid still, a few twitched on the ground.

Four Republic guards stood out front of the Asmodium waiting for Cadan. At the first sign of Cadan they began firing. Cadan's armour took the brunt of the shots, although some shots slipped through. Within the space of a few seconds, Cadan drew and shot. To him it was a well rehearsed action, an action he had used daily. Two guards fell. The two remaining guards, fueled with rage charged at Cadan, drawing their close combat weapons. Their minds filled with the lust to separate Cadan's head from his shoulders. Cadan managed to take down one more before they got close, his bolt searing trough mans thigh. Now Cadan drew his vibro sword, its blade humming as it was activated. The two traded hits. Until the last guard flew to the ground with a gaping hole through his chest.

Cadan's hands ran across the familiar dashboard of the Asmodium, green lights lit up as he began the start up sequence. "This is Cadan Tazi. Sempra's Damnation come in!" As the Asmodium broke into the outer atmospere, his message reached his Kossak Class Destroyer - Sempra's Damnation.

"Cap'n! Is it really you! We is losing our shields but you can still dock!" Cadan's second in command, Captain Seel spoke through the comms, his voice was strained from shouting orders. Sempra's Damnation was taking heavy fire, it's shields were slowly failing due to the constant barrage.

As soon as the Asmodium docked safety, Sempra's Damnation jumped into hyperspace.

After
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The planet Duro, a few months after. Lush green plains, calm blue waters, trees rustled with the gentle breeze birds chirped in the pleasant heat of the sun. A BT-7 Thunderclap rested close to a small farm. grass and flora worked it's way up the landing gear. The Asmodium looked abandoned, on the inside dust piled up on the dashboards, chairs, tables, monitors and the rest of the interior.

The crops of the farm were close to harvesting, from closer inspection the range of crops could be used for the creation of various spices. A male Duros, was roaming the fields checking the crops. He wore a worn trench coat, the right arm of the coat torn off in a previous fight. Protruding from the hole in the jacket was a robotic arm, the metal shining in the sunlight.

A lot had changed in Cadan's life since he left the Cartel. He had given free reign to Captain Seel to do as he pleases with Sempra's Damnation. Now Cadan had adopted the life style of the simple out back spice dealer. He only had to deal with other small time dealers, but with the experience of being the main Cartel dealer Cadan had learnt a thing or two.

Now there was a change in the winds, the Asmodium had picked up a signal. A message from The Jackals, his old gang. They were recruiting. Maybe it was time for an old spice King to reclaim his throne.
