The Nightshadow floated gently through space, dwarfed by the size of The Providence. Every crew man knew that the ship would of easily fit aboard The Providence although none of them really minded. They were used to floating in space without a real direction, none of them really minded it. Every crew man used the time to get stuff done, fix things or repair relationships or swing by the medical bay to get that odd rash looked at. The peace where there was no mission was better than the hours where missions took over life.

Jedi Master Kamon Vondiranch had been rescued. The Jedi Order had given their home to [member="Lady Kay"] and the Commenor Systems Alliance. The Providence was floating through space, just waiting for a destination. The original council had all but fell and The Jedi as a whole had been plunged into darkness as the Great Galactic War took hold of the galaxy. [member="Romi Jade"] had stepped away from the role of Grandmaster, naming a new council in it's place. Kei Raxis, Kamon Vondiranch, Solider Slane and Arabi Cordele would head up the return of The Jedi Order and attempt once and for all to return peace tro the galaxy.

The Providence glided gently through space. They didn't have a destination in mind. Deneba below reminded Kei of home. He shook his head as looked out of the viewport. It was up to the council to do something, pick a destination to rebuild. It was up to the council, Kei to find the Order a new home. The Jedi Knight closed his eyes, sighing. What would Mysa do? He'd found himself asking that question more and more since he'd taken the Heavenshield under his wing as his padawan. She was... she was different. She handled everything with grace and knew the answer to many questions.

Kei didn't.

He opened his eyes, attempting to shake his mind free. The council chambers aboard the ship was basic but it would do. Kei stopped a random crew man, muttering something to him. That crew man would then be in charge of rounding up the council, finding Teynara Jeralyr and collecting them all in the council chambers. Kei would to head up to the chambers, he first needed to pay a visit to Mysa. It had been hours since they freed Kamon from his prison, he needed to see how she was holding together, coping.

She was like his child.

There was a disturbance in the Force; a dark presence that loomed on the horizon like a stormcloud heralding a storm. Solidor had been in deep meditation in his own quarters aboard the Providence, trying to seek clarity and glimpse what was to come. The dark shadows continued to shroud his vision of what was to come, but he knew for certain, something was coming, and it would cast a dark shadow over the galaxy as a whole. They would either endure it or be consumed by it. Only the Force and time would dictate what was to come.

Solidor would open his eyes as he took a brief rest from his deep meditation. He slowly got to his feet to stand as he plucked his cane from the ground where it had lain beside him during his meditation. He would hold it in both hands, cradling it as if he were holding a child as the crystal sphere that was embedded at the end seemed to glow with a soft warmth as it made contact with his hand. He would stare at it for a few moments before turning his head to the door. Someone was coming to speak to him.

There would be a knock at his chamber door as he had expected, turning to face it as he spoke, " Come in. " A brief pause would follow before the door chirped and opened up and a young member of the crew entered, offering a salute before speaking. " Master Raxis humbly requests your audience, Master Slane. " Solidor would nod before speaking, " I shall oblige. And please, just address me as Solidor. " The young crew member would nod before speaking, " Understood Ma-I mean, Solidor. " The crewman would turn around and quickly depart to go deliver the message to the other members of the Order.

With cane in hand, Solidor would depart from his quarters, entering the corridors of the Providence, the ship they called home for the time being. It was the most reasonable course of action that the new council be assembled to have an official meeting to discuss upon, and there was much to discuss as Solidor made his way to the area of the ship that served as the council chambers. It appeared that he had been the first of the council to arrive. He would take a seat amongst the organized chairs in an empty room as he patiently waited for the arrival of his fellow Jedi.

THE EBON HAWK
Approaching The Providence, Somewhere in Space
It felt like time had moved back five years ago when the One Sith brought the Galactic Republic and Yutan to its knees, leaving the half masked warrior without a place to call home and having to seek shelter in Sanctuary where he would eventually reunite with his master by surprise after months without contact. The Sith had unleashed another massive Galactic War against the Jedi and it looked like history was repeating itself once again although deep within his heart he hoped the light would prevail this time.

It is too difficult to live in peace at least once? An utopic thought crossed his mind.

The Jedi Order had left Deneba to the Commenor Systems Alliance and seeked to relocate somewhere neutral, aboard their flagship The Providence the path to finding a new home had begun. It was crucial to make contact with them at once if he wished to be part of what the future held for them, seeking to wish the path of righteousness permanently now instead of falling once again to the grasp of darkness, like at Nar Shaddaa. Word had reached out to Ar'ekk about their departure and with a message through the HoloNet, he'd be able to make contact with the ship at once.

"This is Ar'ekk Daesharacor aboard The Ebon Hawk calling for The Providence. Anyone receives my message?"

Hopefully someone could reply back.

There had been much to think upon in the past few weeks.

From approaching the Enclave, to finding herself thrust headlong into a new Apprenticeship, and disappearing to Erida where the phantom of her past had worked his horrors once again, and now this. Not only had their mission been a success, but now they had a change in location to come to terms with. Deneba was no longer their home, and that left only uncertainty in its wake. In their wake.

Exhaling through her nose, she stared at the page of notes which lay before her on the simple desk. Quarters on the ship were even tighter than they had been in the Enclave, and yet that comforted her in some regard. Reminded her of how little they actually required to survive, to get the job done.

In one corner of the flimsiplast sheet, a Star Map could be seen, and it was that she was now staring over. Two spots had been circled, Erida and an unnamed system. There was nothing which tied the two, no similarities, they were not along the same hyperlane...

But there had to be something, right? Something which made the Fiend choose them? A hint at where others of these sacrilegious sites might lie? Something told her that she was just beginning in this quest, a quest she had told none of save for [member='Seamus Valik'], and even then that had been a necessity.

She scribbled something down on the corner of the page, a word which had come to mind as a fleeting thought, almost without her consciousness involved, Ankus.

Yet, before she could really think on it she turned her head toward the door as she felt a familiar presence near her. Breathing in slowly, she placed the notes to one side, intent on checking out what she had just written down at a later date, and before the individual could knock on her door she opened it and glanced to [member='Kei Raxis'].

Immediately, she lowered her body into a deep bow of respect.

"Master."

The bridge of The Providence was alive with people moving, each one carrying out a specific task. Every member of the ship knew his role and every single one of them attempted to carry out that role to the best of their ability. Every single one of them manned computers, communication boards and other booths required to make a ship run and do things. The navigation officers were sat there however, nothing to do. The ship had no destination however, nothing to achieve. The Jedi Order needed a home, until they got one the navigation on the ship wouldn't be able to do anything other than let the ship drift slowly and quietly through space.

A navigation officer began to allow his fingers to drift. A ship was attempting to land aboard The Providence, it was attempting to reach a hanger. The officer began looking through records of ships that were allowed to dock. The Ebon Hawk was a ship that the communications officer had never heard of. However, according to documentation The Ebon Hawk was a ship that had clearence to land. The communications officer opened up a secure channel between The Providence and The Ebon Hawk. He began to type something, looking for a hanger that was clear, a hanger where he could direct the Ebon Hawk.

"Ebon Hawk, this is The Providence. Direct to Hanger 8.1 Alpha"

Kei scanned his eyes over Mysa slowly. He shook his head as the padawan bowed. He hated the formalities of a padawan bowing to a master. He watched her for a few seconds before he leant against the door. He almost expected Mysa to invite him in. However, he didn't have time even if he would like to.

"I wondered how you were holding up. You impressed me Mysa, you did well rescuing Master Vondiranch. You're a talented Jedi Mysa, you surprise me constantly"

He smiled softly, nodding.

Despite the conditions he'd originally been held in, the non-attuned individuals had proven to be rather accommodating. The food was delicious, the tea fantastic, the conversation not horrible. Of course that was only when the others weren't around trying to poke and prod him, but he's endured much abuse in his lifetime and pain barely faxed him anymore. Even at present, aboard the Providence he found himself utterly relaxed and full of energy despite his body's depleted state.

A chime at the door signalled that he had a guest, and he waved a hand, depressing the entrance button to allow the door to slide open.

"Enter," he called to the crewmember who stood waiting.

"I'll only be but a moment, Master Vondiranach-"

"Just call me Kamon," he said, interrupting the man. "Sorry for interrupting you. Please continue."

"Quite alright, sir, but your presence has been requested I the Council chamber by Master Taxis. He indicated that if you do not feel up to it given recent events he would not be offended if you declined."

Kamon lofted a brow. "He wouldn't be, but others might. Not least of which I would be disappointed in myself. I'll be there shortly. Thank you."

"You're welcome, sir."

The man bowed before excusing himself, leaving Kamon to stand, clip his sabers to his belt, and depart the room to make for the Council chamber. Hed only passed by it once before, not having gone in, but he was a quick study of ships, being a pilot himself. It was easy enough for him to remember the way. As he walked in, he noted [member="Solidor Slane"] was the only one present.

"Master Slane," he said in greeting. "Good to see you."

He moved to take a seat himself.

The Flesh Of Fallen Angels
The clearance to dock within The Providence was granted for his own amazement, clearly the legendary freighter was recognized in one way or the other by the people in charge of the magnificent ship. Typing on the keyboard, Ar'ekk relied another message through the secure channel acknowledging the instructions given and providing further information.

"Roger that. The Ebon Hawk will proceed to dock at Hangar 8.1 Alpha as instructed."

Slowly drifting towards the indicated zone, he maneuvered the ship with extreme caution to allow for a safe landing inside the ship. It wouldn't be a problem whatsoever to do so and eventually the freighter would successfully be able to dock in the hangar, the half masked man looking through the cockpit as he expected a boarding party to emerge anytime soon.

"I just hope I didn't get myself into trouble."

He muttered under his breath, trying to calm himself. Something always went wrong but his guts told him otherwise for this occasion.

Hopefully, he'd be right this time.

Kamon was not the only being on the Providence who spent some of their time meditating. Once the Jedi left Deneba, they were adrift among the stars, looking for a home in the Galaxy. Politics and war were everywhere. Perhaps it was always to be, the Sith as aggressors constantly trouncing into new territory and the Jedi the defenders. There were some Jedi who believed in killing as many Sith as possible in order to prevent or end bloodshed but the Jedi Order was different, feeling that way to be the path to the dark side. Preemptive strikes were still aggression in her eyes. Either way, the Galaxy lost, people lost. There were untold mistakes that have led throughout history, to the death of far too many civilians in the war between Sith and Jedi, dark side and light. Where would they go next and what would they do? Arabi knew not, but she trusted that the Force would provide answers when they were needed.

She also spent time practicing her lightsaber form. Ar'ekk had been helpful to her on Deneba where she had sparred with him and felt a measure of newfound confidence and enthusiasm for learning. Perhaps his attitude was infectious, or perhaps she just had enjoyed sparring more than she had before. Either way, she had just finished washing up after a particularly long and active practice session when the knock came on her door.

Arabi answered as she brushed her hair back and over her ears. Her dark honey colored eyes examined the man at the door. "Yes crewman. What can I do for you?"

He blinked but recovered himself quickly. Her soothing presence enabling him to move forward with his orders. "Jedi Cordelle, Master [member="Kei Raxis"] requests your presence in the Council Chamber as soon as you are able."

Arabi smiled as her ears perked forward but was careful not to show the human man fang. Sometimes it unnerved people. Only considering the request for a moment, she bowed her head in acquiescence. "Of course. I shall be there in less than ten minutes."

He bowed deeply and left her to finish getting ready. She chose her formal Jedi robes and quickly dressed. Braiding her dark hair loosely, she let it fall over her left shoulder and made sure her fur lay straight before she left her chambers, lightsaber on her hip.

Most of Arabi's interactions with others in the Order had been padawans, teaching the young when she was not traveling to heal people of the black ooze introduced to the populace of the Galaxy by the Iron Knights. After the last long stint of healing, she had needed a break and looked at this move from Deneba to a new mystery home as just that. She knew of the others being summoned of course, but had never actually met them.

As Arabi arrived in the Council Chamber, she gave a small smile and a bow of the head to the two already present, [member="Solidor Slane"] and [member="Kamon Vondiranach"]."Gentleman." She said in respectful greeting. If she was honest with herself, she was more than a little nervous about being in the Council Chamber and meeting them all at last.

The elderly Jedi would be seated in an upright posture on one of the half dozen chairs that had been arranged as the makeshift council chamber. Both his hands rested on the crystal encrusted end of his cane as his eyes were closed, patiently waiting for his fellow council members as he continued to brood and deliberate over the disturbance he felt in the Force. His head would shift slightly as if he were trying to focus himself to an unseen entity. His eyes would open as his head turned to the door, just as it opened and a man had entered. Solidor would subsequently rise from his seat as he gave a respectful bow of his head before speaking to greet him, " Master Vondiranach...A pleasure to see you as well. I trust everything is well with you? "

Though Slane had never had the pleasure of working alongside Kamon directly, he was a respected individual within the order nonetheless. Solidor would remain standing as his feet were slightly parted. He would turn his head back to the entrance as he seemed to be expecting something. It would not be long before Arabi had arrived and he would offer a smile upon entering. He would offer another respectful bow of his head before speaking, " As to you Master Cordelle. Please have a seat, I'm sure this meeting will be underway shortly. " Solidor would gesture to one of the empty seats as he turned to resume his own. Solidor would take a seat as he held his cane in both hands once more, the soft glow of the crystal embedded into the hilt emanating a soft glow.

He would retain his regal posture as he silently observed the other two council members, patiently awaiting the arrival of the other unoccupied members so that this meeting aboard the Providence could begin. He would make do with small talk as he spoke in a soft tone, " It is certainly a pleasure to see you both in person. I gather there will be much to discuss. "

There was a change she felt, which had come over not only her Master but from the feel of it, the way her senses tingled, the entirety of the vessel they now lazily floated through space in. A determination, a steadfast resolve, replaced the more desolate and resigned emotions she had felt from the crew prior, when they left the home they had come to know to step into a realm of uncertainty.

The Force was strong within them, it would guide them along the correct path, a better path, and after a moment of feeling downbeat she knew that the Jedi were preparing to rise once again. An enclave did not make an Order, after all, and Jedi knew better than to dwell on what was, to become attached to a place or a state of being.

Tradition bade her to step to one side, to invite him into her modest quarters which remained just as clean and organized as they had back on Deneba. She could sense an urgency within him though, knew that he had another place to be, something was stirring, forcing Masters to rise from their meditations, but to what end?

She knew better than to question it, her trust in the Council remained as strong as it had since she joined their Order. The Will of the Force was theirs to carry out.

"I thank you for your words, Master, but I did only what had to be done with the Force as my guide." She knew she had been struggling, not with the escapades which had just taken place, but with the nightmares which plagued her every sleeping hour, and sometimes bled into her waking time also. That was something she would have to find the strength to speak with him about, but she knew that now was not the time, she knew that she was able to keep it under wraps through her meditative techniques.

For now.

But how much longer would that last?

"I am doing well, Master; how is Master Vondiranach? I trust he is recovering?"
