The Restore Mandalore Fundraiser

Mars Tonith

Banktankerous Muun
Across the Galaxy news was breaking of a civil war on Mandalore. [member="Mia Monroe"] Mand'alor the Liberator had claimed the title once again after bringing the homeworld to ash, while [member="Ra Vizsla"] had risen from the grave to claim the title Mand'alor The Undying. Both had brought the Mandalorians to heights previously unseen. One had brokered peace with the Old Republic, while the other stamped out the One Sith. One was a Dark Jedi of terrible power, the other a shapeshifter who had banned the Force from all of his members.

Who came out on top at this point was a mystery. Anything could happen. But Mars Tonith and the Tonith-Damask Banking Corporation knew it would be the strongest iteration of the Mandalorians in years. They would be a powerful force. Powerful enough to try to horde against the galaxy perhaps, but certainly powerful enough to rebuild upon the ashes of yesterday.

Power helped, of course, but so did credits. Credits were something Tonith-Damask had in spades, but their power? Limited. So Mars decided to do what any somewhat altruistic banker would do.

He began a Fundrasier for Mandalore's Terraforming efforts. Credits could be donated, equipment could be donated, the services of construction teams could be offered, valuables could even be given for auction or raffling purposes to raise money for the cause of Mandalore's Restoration. Tonith-Damask itself would match all credit donations given up to the first Trillion credits. But what would the rest of the galaxy have to offer?

OOC:

Full disclore, I am not a Factory Judge and you should always talk to you lawyer. But "- Provide philanthropic donations, fundraising, or contributions" is a valid Passive Company Expansion that can save you guys from making 3 codex/factory submissions, and for those of you who want extra credit

"
- Establish or help establish a colony
- Establish or help establish a new location
- Participate in a planet's colonization"

Are considered Active Company Expansions and could very likely be justified by posters who put in more than a couple of in and out posts.

Not mention the goodness of your hearts.

Ugohr Poof

The Traveling Gungan Salesman
It took a while, but the Gungan was back in the boardroom. In his office on Malastare, Ugohr heard about the civil war brewing on Mandalore; last he heard about it, a disaster caused the planet to become unstable for a bit. However, he was puzzled that it took two years for the relief efforts to come. Yes, nominally, he was still a Jedi, at least in name. He was lucky, very lucky, that the new manager on Ringo Vinda was not out to steal money from the Charros project, unlike what he initially thought when he went there. While, of course, his contribution on Charros IV was mostly financial in nature, for Mandalore he thought that the financial part is not enough. So when [member="Mars Tonith"] issued his offer, there was but one thing that crossed his mind: IGR had to do something. Plus the Jedi Code asked him as much. Maybe he could contribute construction crews and money, knowing that a trillion-credit project, as is estimated, is too big for any one company to do. In comparison building and colonizing Azure was a dirt-cheap affair.

"Wesa needen to prepare a trip to Mandalore: wesa taken what construction crews wesa have on Myrkr to rebuild Mandalore. Wesa also needen to stop on Myrkr, though"

"We ought to notify the remaining workers, both on Myrkr and here" the assistant told Ugohr.

"Mesa want yousa to get usen da specifications for what theysa want and need. Wesa do not want to encroach on da local ordinances... but where issa Cathul when wesa needen hersa? Shesa da one whosa worken with Mandos"

"Tartarus. I'm not blaming her; she is saving the galaxy elsewhere"
