DESCRIPTION
Created as a response to the destruction that seems inherent to the Southern Systems, the Rahab Foundation exists to try and ease the suffering of planets in the area, and with financial backing from Vitae Industries, the charity has some ability to do so. Running much of the humanitarian efforts off of volunteer work, the Rahab Foundation sends doctors and helpers to disaster zones, trying to save lives and allow the displaced or those who don’t have the skills to work in normal society to recover and allow them second chances. While the humanitarian work may include many volunteers, the rehab and medical staff are full-time professionals working with their patients. Much of the team is Occupational Therapy, as well as teachers and the occasional H.R. veteran to help them find places that fit them in this modernized society.
RATIONALE
Natasha has always been a bleeding heart.
When she learned how many worlds were in violent states, and how many joined to galactic powers through violence, she was appalled. When she learned that many don’t have access to the skills or training to become what they wanted, she felt like she had to do something. That she had to give others the chance she never had.
The Rahab Foundation was founded almost entirely out of Natasha’s own pocket, and through Volunteer donations and the support of Vitae Industries (after the board was convinced it would be great for the public image), they’ve managed to start doing some good for the worlds around them. But even this scarlet line only reaches so far, and the galaxy has many who need help. Maybe in time, they can be reached.
