In Armor:

Name: Emilia Primrose Calvarona, Queen of Crina
Loyalties: Planet of Crina, authority of the Luminita System. Supports the Imperial Remnant in turn for their aid in ending the Crinan Civil War and defeating the rebels.
Role: NPC Monarch, Queen of Crina. Married to the King and shares in his authority.
Development Threads: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/43661-phrik-for-a-king/ (Has been mentioned around, will appear in more rps, first rp central to them though)
Age: 34
Species: Human
Force-Sensitive: She is more adept than her husband, having gone through the training at the Cosmina Academy to learn her abilities.
Appearance: Tall, 6'2", with light hair and gentle build. She has deep sapphire eyes and holds softer features than her husband.
Personality: A gentle soul, one would find it surprising considering her upbringing. Emilia Calvarona is a center of calm and wisdom at the Royal Palace, balancing out her husband's moments of impatience with understanding and the ability to look far ahead without pause. She was considered to be a warm mother to all the King's children, despite only giving birth to the youngest among them Utena. The others were said to have taken to her quickly, and that she resembled the King's first wife in appearance, temperate, intelligence, and gentleness. However, that she was more martially capable was something that was what brought her into view in the first place.
Weapon of Choice: Dual Crinan Energy Blade
Wealth: Considerably wealthy on Crina since the Monarchy operates a state run system, though their currency does not transfer to the galactic market.
Combat Function: Receiving a full education at Cosmina left Emilia Primrose Anca a prime example of Crina's Practitioners. Learned in philosophy, history, politics, duty, magic, and combat, those sent to Cosmina develop and hone these subjects devotedly. Practitioners are often expected to upheld their world's peace and order in some fashion, and to protect the people. Many then learn to handle both martial issues and those of state matters. As such, during her time there Emilia practiced her magical abilities (force powers) specifically in the art of manipulating the cold, dubbing her a Frost Practitioner. Her abilities in that category, along with the skills of swordsmanship she learned there and from her personal instructors as a child, leave her quite the skilled combatant, though her husband is a better swordsman while she trounces him in the matters of court.
Skills:
  • Frost Practitioner, moderate skill, Emilia is adept at lowering environment temperature. Sometimes to the point of causing snow in a small area about her. A practiced habit from her training at Cosmina has left her often carrying several bottles of water on her person, that she will open and freeze, then flinging the icicles made from the frozen water. She is also skilled in light telekinesis , able to lift up to human sized objects and throw them at best.
  • While not as adept as her husband, Emilia is also an adept user of the Crinan Energy Sword, having trained with personal instructors from a young age as many felt as the youngest of four children in a family of nobility she would wind up in the military without due to having barely any share of her family's inheritance.
Notable Possessions:
Other Notes: Born to the Anca family, a part of the Nobility on Crina, Emilia Primrose Anca was someone many imagined would never achieve great things. The youngest of four children, with two older brothers and an older sister ahead of her, Emilia was almost guaranteed to have no inheritance when the time came for her generation to take the family reigns. The Anca Family, typically known for their just, wise, and gentle authority over a large expanse of the Georgeta Plains from which most of the world's food supply was grown or domesticated, had then decided for their youngest child that she would most likely enter into the Royal Military to maintain the honor and strength of their family name.

As such, for much of her childhood Emilia found herself being trained by personal instructors on many combat techniques ranging from martial arts to swordplay. As much as she often tried to immerse herself in her family's affairs of business and their connections with other houses of the Nobility, Emilia found many of her attempts diverted as she was taken off from the occasions of courtly affairs to continue her studies and training. In these times there was one person who sought her out despite the fact she was not within the scope of relations between nobility.

Her name was Astra Starr.

Emilia found herself stolen away from training with her instructors many times when Astra came to visit, discovering brief reprieves from her regime and efforts whenever the Starr family visited. It seemed strange to the young Emilia at the time, as Astra was several years her senior, and yet was someone who watched over her, took time to spend with her and make her happy, and was perhaps more like a sister to her than her actual one. In fact Astra felt closer to her than any of her siblings. It came to eventually weigh on Emilia how she was being herded into a path without her choosing, that her family had no care or hopes for her since she was youngest, though they were not harsh or cruel about it. It felt more worrisome to Emilia when Astra's visits became fewer and fewer, the older girl having gone to attend the Cosmina Academy, and that was what settled it for her.

Not long after Astra went to the Academy, so too would Emilia. It wasn't even that difficult to do so, as she had some talent and to her family it seemed perfect to increase her ability and chances of having better standing in life. Not that Emiliea truly minded, she merely wished to be alongside her friend, the person she was closest to. She would pursue many of her subjects with fervor, chasing after Astra in every matter. Although it seemed to became apparent rather quickly she did far better in matters of martial skill than did Astra. Her friend often appearing to show a lack of effort or desire to practice combat skills or hone her body.

Yet it did not matter to Emilia, she was just pleased to once more be close to her dear friend, to have time together and even compete against one another. Soon enough Emilia would even find herself invited to accompany Astra on the girl's many trips to the Capital of Stefania, and specifically to the Palace Grounds as Astra took to immersing in the matters of court, with Emilia sticking close beside to immerse herself in them as well. It became clear in those times that increasing her knowledge of courtly affairs with the nobility was not Astra's only goal though, as Emilia often saw how her friend helped to sneak away with the heir to the throne, Oliver Calvarona, though it seemed difficult to do so.

Uncertainly during those times Emilia felt pangs of jealousy though she knew not why or who for, yet all the same she did what she could to aid in Astra's escapes with the young King. Many times creating a pension for herself among nobles and palace officials as a bit of a klutz or very inquisitive young lady whose quest for knowledge knew no end. In this way she supported their romance despite herself, and when it finally flourished and the two married, Emilia knew not whether she wept or cried, but all the same she was happy, and happier still as she found that not long after her graduation Astra was offering her a place as her personal guard among the Royal Guard of the Palace, which she accepted in front of her astonished family who did not believe she would obtain such a position so quickly.

In the face of the civil war she would dutifully stay by the side of her dear friend and Lady, serving in battles only in which the Royal Guard was ordered and Astra permitted her absence. She would perform her duty and role in this regard, watching as time passed and the one she held the most affection for gave birth to two daughters, Crina's new princesses, the next royal generation. At the same time though she could only watch as slowly, Astra began to die, showing after the first princess was born, her health deteriorated quickly. It soon made sense how Astra had always faltered in the face of training any martial skill, the stress on her body was too much, and yet all the same she somehow continued to even give birth to a second daughter before passing.

Throughout the time, Emilia stayed as close to her friend and most cherished as long as she could, holding the time close to her as she put on her most gentle smiles and warmest words as she could only do her best to ease the passing over the last year. the only times she bore parting were the moments when she knew that the King, Oliver, had the most right to have that time. In this way she felt like of the ones most hurt when the time came for Astra to finally rest once and for all.

And yet she could not let it hurt.

Quite quickly Emilia took to playing with the young princesses, her position as Astra's personal guard granting much time with the tiny children, and through them she often spent time with the King. The pain weighed heavily on him too, and she saw this and could not allow it. She gave him her support too, speaking those gentle words and offering her warm smile to Oliver as well, encouraging him onward and pushing him as well she could in her station. Emilia shared her kindness and wisdom she had accumulated, and she ensured with vows to herself she would not see Astra's daughters suffer either. Somehow it ended up being they would grew close, and Emilia could not tell when she eventually found herself in Oliver's embrace and was happy in it, but all the same she did.

And soon enough her own daughter would join Crina's princesses.

Suddenly her family was more astonished, that the one they had not believed would amount to any significant status or held a position of merit was now Queen. Not only that, but a truly effective and loved one. Her gentleness and warmth was matched by her experience in the matters of court she had gained from her friendship with Astra, and she handled matters of politics and economics with her knowledge from Cosmina and watching the affairs of nobility as a member of the Royal Guard to great effect. Next to Crina's King the world began to flourish and calm. Somehow even she left an even greater impression, as not did she deal with the issues of state but she could also keep up with the King as well in the matters of conflict, even challenging him in personal combat.

Yet, even all of this did not stop the ongoing civil war. And when the Imperial Remnant came forward to the Royal Family to make a deal to end the rebellion, there was little to do but accept. If they did not, the offer could go to the rebels, and the last 19 years of work and strife would have been lost, along with the work and strife of the last few centuries put forth by the generations past. And so they accepted, and the Imperials came to Crina and ended their war and order was restored. Now it is the time to see how that will last and how it will proceed. For her part, Emilia has grown quite close to the Empress Fel, looking for how she can continue to do her part to ensure Crina's future.
