The Pyramids of Tygara (Siobhan)

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]
As soon as Siobhan sat in the gilded throne she suddenly would feel a mental interface connecting with her. It was not a hostile or controlling mental probe, it merely gave options to her, a notion how to control the ship. By the simplest of mental commands she could control this ship, activate its engines and make it take flight.
The control panels on the arm gave the opportunity to fine tune the necessary commands she would be using.

Sahal went to the window of one side of the bridge. “I can see our allies, lady. They still await our return.”

They would be incredibly surprised if the pyramid started to take off. Might be best to warn them…or not if Siobhan wanted to be a bit of a troll!

The mental interface linked with her mind. Suddenly it felt like she was connected to the pyramid. All its systems were laid out before her eyes. Through the power of thought, she could will it to take off. And so it did.

Sahal's voice seemed to coming from far away. This was probably an effect of the immersion. "Contact them. Tell them that their Queen has cleansed the sky-pyramid and claimed it," Siobhan declared, then reconsidered a bit. "Actually, you know what, let's pick them up." For she was a benign and just Queen.

Sahmara looked amazed as the pyramid raised itself into the sky. As it took flight, columns of sand and dust billowed into the air. "It is flying. It is really flying," she exclaimed, losing her composure for the moment.
"It better have enough fuel," Kar'zakush grunted. "Or it will plummet back to the earth soon."

Sahal could see the shocked figures below running around. Some of them even firing their puny blasters at the pyramid wildly.
Sahal quickly picked up her commlink and contacted the Qadiri in charge below.
“No, calm, calm! The Lady Kerrigan has cleaned the pyramid and claimed it as her own. It will lower so you can board.”
This little issue handled, the pyramid lowered itself so that they could scramble aboard and then took flight.

Fortunately for them all although it had been many thousands of years since the pyramid had flown it was still in working order. However, the mental link would inform Siobhan that fuel would be an issue, and that the Zeta Radiation issue was related and would need a more permanent fix. Still, they had enough fuel to get themselves a good bit of the way to their destination, and they could set down easily enough for fuel and repairs closer to civilisation.

And so the Qadiri Sepoys got to fly in a sky-pyramid. It was probably quite odd to them, to say the least. Then again, the sky people were pretty odd in general. Siobhan frowned slightly when an image presenting the diminishing fuel situation flashed before her eyes. "Kar'zakush, you jinxed it," she mock grumbled to herself.
"Far be it from me to let reality get in the way of you taking your toy for a planet-wide joyride," the Kar'zun retorted.
"Ah, well, I'll visit Zeheb later. Sending a message to the Arx. Zarosh can come down and have a look to get this radiation issue fixed." The sky-pyramid floated through the air. Siobhan was not a great pilot and indeed unused to flying anything larger than a freighter, but she found the controls to be surprisingly intuitive. For its size, the vessel was also quite manoeuvrable. "I'm pleased with all of you," she said as she brought the pyramid in to land.
"Service to my Lady is an honour," Sahmara said piously.
"This means we'll have the 'honour' of taking on a Sith or Kraal army while hopelessly outnumbered, doesn't it, Your Majesty?" Kar'zakush asked irreverently. She was too told to be in awe of anyone.
"If you keep snarking, you definitely will. Preferrably somewhere extremely hot."
