STANDARD FEATURES
  • All standard features.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Life support systems can replicate atmospheric conditions on Skako or standard planets, being able to switch between atmospheres in a process which takes roughly 10 minutes.
  • Missile launchers are capable of firing proton torpedoes, discord missiles, and other unique projectiles built by Dile.
  • Droid charging racks are built into the sides of the main workshop area’s walls.
STRENGTHS
  • Robust: The Problem-Solver is a low maintenance ship with redundant systems throughout. It can survive the experimental additions that Dile likes to install without undergoing a structural of software failure.
  • Roomy: The Problem-Solver already had plenty of internal cargo space to begin with, but Dile has added in spatial compression compartments which allow it to hold enough for its cargo bay to effectively serve as a mobile workshop.
  • Hard To Board/Intrude: Anyone trying to board or intrude on the Problem-Solver will likely find themselves faced with an high internal pressure, toxic atmosphere, and onboard droids for security.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow: The Problem-Solver is more of a space pickup truck than a space hot rod, and is not built for blinding speed in travel or takeoff/landing.
  • Unique: The Problem-Solver’s extensive modifications make it easy to identify and hard to find matching replacement parts for.
DESCRIPTION
The Problem-Solver started its existence as a fairly run-of-the-mill cargo shuttle built by the Techno Union. It was first purchased from the company by a merchant in the maize trade who used it for five years before selling it cheap to Dile Congor after it was damaged in a fire. To this day, the ship’s interior somehow still smells faintly of burnt popcorn.

Restoring the cargo shuttle became a personal side project for Dile during his university years. In addition to all sorts of technical improvements too numerous to list, he gave it a red accented paint job and christened it as the Problem-Solver. When Dile was sentenced to banishment from Skako, he packed up all his tools, materials, blueprints and personal items into the ship and has lived there ever since. When he began working as a dedicated combat engineer, he also added in several weapon systems for defensive purposes.

The best way to describe the interior of the Problem-Solver is organized chaos. Duke has a loose system for knowing where everything is and what it does, but even when he sets the environmental settings to galactic standard, visitors need to be wary of where they walk. The ship is filled with droids of all shapes and sizes, ranging from mouse droid janitors to humanoid crew members who help man the ship.

The interior of the Problem-Solver is divided into two levels. The top level contains the cockpit, crew quarters (currently only used by Dile) and the vac-tube. The lower level contains the engine room, communications office, and the main workshop area, repurposed from the cargo bay.

Hello, I shall be going over this with you.

All standard features.

The definition of standard can vary between writers and companies. Please provide a list.

and other unique projectiles built by Dile

Unique and exotic tech should be listed or have a factory sub for itself. The vagueness of this means nearly anything can be used and pulled out.

Roomy: The Problem-Solver already had plenty of internal cargo space to begin with, but Dile has added in spatial compression compartments which allow it to hold enough for its cargo bay to effectively serve as a mobile workshop.

Do you have a canon example of this spatial compression?

Exotic Weapons: Dile has equipped the Problem-Solver with an array of exotic weapons which can give opponents some nasty surprises.

Hard To Board/Intrude: Anyone trying to board or intrude on the Problem-Solver will find themselves faced with an internal pressure, toxic atmosphere, and onboard droids for security.

While this makes sense IC, the wording will need to reflect balance aand chaos rules of damage being determined by the other writer. So ensure it is clear they might be affected by such dangers. Nothing is absolute.

Answer the questions and make the edits as needed and tag me.

I have used “All Standard Features” in the past with no trouble, and it is in fact stated in the official template that it is acceptable to simply say this rather than write out the list.

STANDARD FEATURES
  • (Provide all of your submission's standard features, including non-combat items, here in a list -or- alternatively simply state 'all standard features'. This includes all features that are common for vessels of this class. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology, Shields, Engines)

I do not intend to abuse this to pull out random new missile types in the middle of RP, rather I just want to keep it open so that when I write up factory submissions for new missile types later, I do not have to go back and edit this submission. Would there be an acceptable way for me to rephrase this to keep the spirit of what I want to do intact?

I do not, could I get this approved if I submit it in a separate entry as a new technology.

I removed this line.

I changed the wording to make it less absolute.
