The Priesthood Forgeworks is a Mandalorian-founded industrial enterprise built on the dual principles of heritage and innovation. At its heart, it operates as a nomadic forge—an adaptable, clan-based manufacturing network that values craftsmanship, cultural preservation, and battlefield supremacy. Specializing in the design and creation of personalized weapons, armor, vehicles, and starships, the Forgeworks distinguishes itself by rejecting mass production in favor of tailored, modular systems designed to reflect the identity and combat style of the warrior who wields them. Its products are not simply tools of war—they are heirlooms, forged in fire and tradition.
This company is deeply entwined with Mandalorian values: resilience, individuality, and strength through unity. Operating across mobile forges and stations, it allows its artisans and smiths to create wherever needed, bringing fire and steel directly to the front lines or deep within hostile territory. It's not uncommon for the Forgeworks to salvage wreckage from the battlefield, rework enemy tech, and forge superior, more rugged Mandalorian designs. This reclamation is not seen as piracy but as a form of technological vengeance—proof that Mandalorians will not be left behind in a galaxy of sprawling empires and cold efficiency.
Driven by a powerful ethos, the Forgeworks serves not only warriors but also the clans and families that form the backbone of Mandalorian society. With a growing reach, it forges alliances with like-minded mercenary bands, rogue Mandalorians, and even off-world clients seeking gear of legendary reputation. Yet, beneath its practical manufacturing role lies a greater vision: to rebuild and modernize Mandalorian identity through industry, making the Forgeworks a symbol of their people's survival, resurgence, and power.
RATIONALE
Tarre Priest, even as a younger man, was shaped by hardship, self-reliance, and a deep respect for Mandalorian tradition. The decision to construct a mobile forge stemmed from both necessity and identity. Lacking a permanent homeworld or stronghold, Tarre knew that in order for Mandalorians like himself to survive and rebuild, they needed to be able to create and repair wherever they stood. A forge bound to a single world or static facility would be vulnerable—easily targeted, raided, or left behind during times of war. So, he resolved to bring the forge with him, building it into the very bones of his ship, making it just as much a weapon as it was a tool.
Additionally, as an apprentice to a Master Smith and later a craftsman in his own right, Tarre understood that forging was not only about metal, but about will—about claiming ownership over one's future and legacy. The mobile forge allowed him to act immediately when others were in need, to build arms for those without them, and to give strength back to scattered clans and lone warriors. It was his way of carrying Mandalore with him, no matter where he was in the galaxy. It was not built for profit, but for survival, reclamation, and a future where Mandalorians could once again wield weapons made by their own hands, not by the hands of outsiders.
