After Phantrx was abandoned in a crevice on Lothal, he needed to get himself some protection. The first action on his list was to get himself some armour, so he could protect himself by being hidden, with armour, and using the force to get the Kyber Crystals for his new lightsabers. After befriending a Loth-Wolf on Lothal, and finding a ship off the planet, he was able to travel to a market and buy himself Amphistaff skin, to make into the cloak he wears now. He dyed the skin yellow, to match his eyes, and made the mask dark black, to cover his face. The dioxis tubes were first bought a year after he made his cloak, and now he gets his own dioxis to supply the tubes.

- Dioxis Tubes: There are small tubes fitted in the sleeves and legs of the cloak and armour, which can be fitted with dioxis gas which can be released whenever the wearer wants. The gas does not affect the wearer, however, because the mask fitted with the cloak stops any gas from entering through it, protecting the user from the gas.
- Very High Blaster and Saber Resistance: The skin of the Amphistaff provides high resistance to lightsabers and energy shots.
- Lightweight: The skin of the Amphistaff is very lightweight and somewhat fashionable, able to be dyed and made into the cloak that Phantrx wears.
- Dioxis Tubes: Tubes hidden in the sleeves and legs of the clock can be fitted with tubes of dioxis, which the wearer can release at any point. The mask of the cloak is designed to stop any gases entering through it, to stop it being breathed in.
- Low Kinetic Resistance: As the armour is only a cloak, anything that isn't energy-based can easily impact the wearer, meaning hand-to-hand combat and kinetic weapons are viable against the wearer, but the cloak is strong enough and thick enough to supply some resistance.
- Very Low Resistance to Other Things: As it is only a cloak, there is no resistance to EMP and other, similar types of weapon.
- Mask Dependant: If the wearer's mask is dislodged when the Dioxis tubes are used, the wearer's own dioxis can be used against them.
