The people of Bayan

Now that the planet Bayan is approved; would there be any interest in a thread with a simple herder? The people of Bayan are to a point technophobes, preferring their traditional simple yurts. (Culturally think the Mongolians.) The planet has only one large city and that's a simple space port which can handle at most, two or three freighters depending on their size and a few shuttles. So there's not really much in the way of massive cruisers coming down. Likewise it's got that bare essentials. Refueling, cantina, places to sleep and eat. Beyond that all the action is outside in the wilds.

Said wilds are dominated by four cultural tribes each made up of smaller localized tribes and families. With the vast majority of these being herdsmen; keeping Banthas, Nerfs, Robas and Staga.

So, any interest in just a quiet little, no wars, no fighting; relaxation thread?

I think I would love this kind of thread with you. My people are somewhat the same, in that we're not as advanced as the other races and that we've just been introduced to the galaxy. It would be nice to meet a kindred species of sorts.

The people of Bayan are the descendants of settlers. They've chosen not to use technology and allowed their society to revert into the place it is now. They use technology; just not a large amount of it.
