The Outer Rim is without law once more as the alliance disperses leaving only fragments of order behind.
For there to be peace, there must be order, for order there must be Dominion.

The Outer Dominion is a Imperial-Protectorate designed to provide absolute peace and order through any means necessary. Beginning with the heads of state, the Director of the Dominion followed by the Senate of Ministers

The Military is commanded by the Chief of Defense who commands the Grand General and Admiral of the army and navy in the effort to insure safety in the Outer Rim.

Intelligence is lead by the Chief Executive of Security with the Officers of the Intelligence being their second in command.

Within the Dominion, though, hides the true nature of the Outer Dominion; The Blackguard an ancient group of Force Sensitives who do not believe there is a Dark or Light aspect of the Force, that these aspects lay within the individual instead. While Power is always a goal, Knowledge is the ultimate dream of this group. Unlike the guard of old however, a system of clans has been emplaced with a council formed from the head of each clan, while each clan specializes in a different skills and desires.



At the moment this is a work in progress, names are subject to change as the idea is more fleshed out. But as is, this works as a simple setting.

Imperial Protectorate? Very interesting. I like the idea so far and what potential it may have.

What kind of imperial aesthetic are you going to go for? I am not trying to say its already been done, just trying to find the differences between you and other Imperial based factions such as First Order, New Imperial Order, and the Sith Empire?

Narratively speaking is to give the illusion that there is free will, and that the citizens of the Dominion have an effect on outcomes, such as elections, and voting while behind the scenes, everything is being very controlled to go the way the Dominion wants it to, Control, Order, Peace.
A lot of assimilating and indoctrination.

I had an idea that citizens who refused to cooperate, or started to see past the veil, even criminals caught would be taken to a facility where flesh and machine would meet to create soldiers without free will. It's a concept I have a lot of aesthetic for as well.

Im sure the other cool guys are doing this, but as far as I can tell, the NIO genuinely are good guys, I haven't been paying attention to the First Order, but they seem to be going a similar direction as well.

The concept here, is trying to look as good as possible in public eyes, while doing evil things behind the closed doors.
