Pain like that screamed silently to those who knew how to hear it. People like them were contradictions, strong in some ways, but with an underlying fragility. The last thing Tibera wanted to do was risk breaking into something old and dead...
"Lighter I can do, this is a place for drowning ghosts, not resurrecting them," She said, standing up from the bar. She ordered one more drink, something a bit less potent this time.
"Come on, we've got a little light left in the day, let's enjoy it."

The sun was starting to move towards the sea, casting it's amber rays onto the water. Shimmering waves crashed gently into the shoreline, people went about their vacations as if they had the whole world to themselves. That was the beauty of places like Spira, everyone was in their own little bubble. Concerns were about getting drinks and meals, not ducking blaster bolts and watching out for the next guy looking for a meal. It was hard to conceptualize for Tibera, finally she could lower her guard just a bit.
