DESCRIPTION:
This trenchcoat is a specifically designed coat by the Major. It is more durable than a basic robe, but it offers little protection against the most glancing of blows. Essentially, this is what she’ll wear when not on an active mission. While the cortosis weave collar and accents might help the user of this coat from getting decapitated quickly, any persistent or even strong enough strike will render the coat little better than a second skin. It does however have durasteel plates sewn into the areas covering the stomach, ribs, collarbones, and back; this will only resist stab wounds from a knife. Even this can be easily exploited since there are gaps in the plate where a strike could pierce with little effort. Why would anyone choose this garb at all? Well, it has a number of hidden pockets which are excellent for a slicer/operative.

Of the Major’s specific Fallanassi tribe: hunting, tracking, and markswomanship were lauded as worthy traits. Ironically, they had a healthy penchant for pompous designs and elegance -along with a focus on speedy, aggressive, fluid combat. This particular design was inspired by a recurring nightmare the Major would experience as a child: one of a lonely woman trapped in a doomed clocktower. . .

Your submission contains a restricted material (cortosis) at a production greater than unique. Unless a submission containing specific restricted materials is at unique production, a restricted material mission must be completed in order to be approved.
From the Factory Standardized Rules

  1. Technology that has a restricted material (Beskar, Phrik, Cortosis, Songsteel, Echani Graphite, Ionite, & Pyronium), will no longer require a completed ‘restricted material’ objective thread as long as the item that is being submitted is labeled as Unique. This can only be utilized in the Technology Forum.
