The Nobunaga is a force imbued sword, made long ago by
Lord Kalrath
as a prototype for later creation of force blades. It was quickly discarded by the Sith because it was not bathed in the darkside as intended and was deemed a failure, but the blade would trade hands between lesser darkside users. It would find it's way into the hands of a Sith assassin, a hired agent of the Empire of the Lost who was sent to assassinate Solarus Fynch during their raid on Lothal and subsequent conquest of the the Outer Rim planet. Fynch would overpower the assassin, prying the Nobunaga from the Sith's dead hands and claiming it as his own. The blade is unruly, as Fynch is not a force user, making the blade wild and unpredictable. Fynch uses the blade through brute force, determined to have the blade bend to his will. The blade was made from Doonium from Lothal. Fynch sees claiming the blade as reclaiming some kind of fragment of his lost home.
