Karna Ramesha

Naboo
Karna stuck his massive hands deep into the bucket to feel for the rag. The wonderful feeling of warm water barely fazed his normal face, which looked at the messiest of tables. Every week there appeared to be some prankster who bought a whole bunch of food and left a tiny tip for the waiter. The mess wasn't really the issue as it came with owning an establishment for food. However the tip was in fact the problem. For such a mess and time spent tending to their wants and needs, one would expect a fair price. He only sighed, unable to get mad nowadays. It wasn't really a bother to him specifically anyways. The canine in him was always so full of energy after all. It was his other staff members possibly having to deal with it that bothered him. Karna got over it soon enough and stepped towards the table.
He stopped all of a sudden to peek outside. The streets were lit up in the dark, chaotic night in silence. That silence is what he longed for. His coffee shop was usually quiet like this in the evenings. Not even his staff talked that much. That was most likely due to the late hours of working, for those who desired to stay after dark, their energy lost. Coffee was a simple fix to that though he wouldn't reccomend it as a solution. Karna wasn't a fan of being serious all the time but he cared for his staff like they were his family. Essentially though, they really were his family. Most people would do anything for a family member and he was kinda at that point. The men and women that came to work with a kind face and attitude made him feel good about himself. Well, feel good about whatever was left of himself. They filled that void in a way. After enjoying the his little break, he decided it was time to get back to work.
One plate at a time he collected them all and placed them in a cart. Silverware set to the side and the glassware and plates in the larger compartment. He grabbed the cart by its pulling handle and rolled it back to the kitchen where he would transfer the dirty dishes to a large sink. For a small coffee shop it wasn't too bad design-wise. The old men even lived here upstairs with other facilities included. Now the story behind its design was one thing but how he even acquired it was another, and more interesting. That could be saved for some other time though. Karna left the dishes in the sink and placed the glassware and silverware in a second sink. He walked out of the kitchen to make his way back to the table. "Ray, go clean those dirty plates, please. I'll watch the front while I'm getting this table." His coworker simply nodded and went on his way.
Ray was the only worker still at the shop right now. It was already fairly late in the evening so the rest took their leave and headed home. He was a dedicated worker when it came to Karna's coffee shop. Leaving only after the work had been completed, but staying out of his boss's way. Karna made sure he was rewarded for being such a great worker. It only felt right if he treated him just as good back. He started wiping the table, the final one for the night. Of course he serve anyone if they were hungry or thirsty, especially alcoholic beverages. He loved spreading the fun of morning headaches and upset stomachs.
