TAG: Varos Ren Varos Ren

The Dark Star made its way in shadows of the Outer Rim. Rumors had indicated that the lost vessel of the Knights of Ren, The Night Buzzard, was adrift somewhere. The Typhojem shaped ship could not use the hyperspace lanes, or it might miss this vessel of significance. Anak combed the dark roads, scanning for anything. Seeking out the Buzzard was a sort of pilgrimage of the past, to scour it for what relics might still be in its hold, and perhaps meet horrors as well…

Rumors. They were the thing that kept the galaxy spinning. People sought after them, craved them, and protected them. A rumor could make or break a beings destiny, and a false rumor could spell the end of a civilization. Varos did not pay too much heed to rumors. They amounted to little, and were usually an annoyance he could live without. However, when rumors that the Night Buzzard, the original ship of the Knights of Ren had been spotted drifting in the Unknown Regions, Varos could not ignore it. He had taken a small ship, and set out after the rumors, hoping to finally find one that proved true.

His vessel dropped out of hyperspace, the small freighter barely larger than a starfighter but with more cargo space. Varos was not sure what might be found in this little journey, but if there were relics to be had, he would need the space for it to be safely taken back to Dark Empire space. He had been searching for several days already with little luck. He activated his vessels long range scanners and began to check the area. He did not detect the Night Buzzard, but there was another ship on the sensors.

Glancing at the reading, Varos narrowed his yellow eyes and typed a few commands into the terminal in front of him. Reaching down, Varos grabbed his helmet he had rested against the pilots chair, letting it slide over his head. Pistons hissed as locks were engaged, sealing Varos inside his helmet. He had a suspicion who the other vessel belonged to. Typing a few more commands into his ships terminal, a data burst would be sent out to the Dark Star, a simple binary code that would mean nothing to move people in the galaxy, but to those with the correct cyphers, it deliver a clear message.

'
The Shadow Greets you Brother.'
