Vengeance laughed.

"It can wait until tomorrow unless you are so eager to learn?"

He shrugged standing again.

"Well then the first lesson and perhaps the most important." "Everything is a weapon." "You always have more than one even if you only use a single saber."

Vengeance held up his hands balled into fist.

"The hand not holding the saber you can punch with."

He tapped his forearms, then his thighs, shins, and lastly pointed at his feet.

"You can also use these as a weapons." "You can follow through one strike with another." "In order to maximize your prowess you must be able to not only fight as saber's length but at nose's length as well."

He paused.

"Also don't thing you only have to use the blade of your saber." "The hilt can be used as a weapon as well." "You smash it into somebody's face and they will feel it."

Aaron nodded he retrieved his hands that were consumed by the purple cloak made form expensive silks. Once he retrieved his hands that were lost in his cloak he looked at them with thoughtfully.

He himself knew that everything can be used as weapons but a thought ran threw his head can he augment his physical self. Strong enough he can rip his enemies throat out with his bare hands or even just poke his enemy and send him flying

"Can I augment my strength?" Aaron asked in wonder "Also I wouldn't mind starting to day" he said thinking some more

Vengeance nodded.

"You can but the question is why would you by default?" "If you focus only on the force to make you better than your enemy then what happens when the force is not with you?" "When the force is not your ally?"

He chuckled.

"Of course you could go the soldier route and spend every day in the gym getting muscles the size of mountains but then what happens to your range of motion and flexibility?"

Vengeance raised his saber leaving it off but still extending it slightly. He thrust out like he was going to impale Aaron. As soon as the move finished he slowly rotated his wrist so that Aaron could see it. The motion demonstrating a change to strike towards the left shoulder. Then Vengeance rotated his wrist again the other direction for the right shoulder. Vengeance finished it up with one last rotation that would bring it straight down split the middle.

"That whole thing without the use of the force takes barely a minute." "The average person may be able to react to the first impaling strike............." "By the third strike they are usually back pedaling trying to figure out what you are doing." "As a result they are not thinking about things like counter attacks or in most cases attacking at all."


Vengeance paused putting his saber away for the moment.

"Questions?"

Aaron took a step back his cloak and robes floating following him. To think what will happen with the saber on Aaron would be done for to be sure of. He couldn't say anything he was impressed.

"A balance is needed" Aaron said "Both of physical and force strength" he added as rotated his wrist as if to mimic Vengeance movements "Your pushing them to defiance?" Aaron asked thoughtfully

Vengeance shook his head.

"No the purpose is simple." "To win." "You see more often than not Acolytes are all passion and no strategy." "They instantly want to kill in one hit." "To finish things as quickly as possible."

He smiled.

"I have always found it prudent to assume every engagement will take all day." "Conserve your energy, channel it over time instead of all at once." "It is why I use Makashi as it takes no actual use of the force to be effective."

He chuckled.

"Also most seem to revert to using only a single attack at a time." "It makes the easy to overwhelm."

His expression got serious as he tapped the side of his own head.

"Use this just as much if not more than you use...................."

Vengeance tapped his chest where his heart is.

".................this and you will know victory more often than defeat."

"It is idiotic to rush into battle with out a plan or strategy" Aaron said crossing his arms. For it was the mind that truly one wars. To him in order to win a war you must have theses things a good plan, The troop are strong, and lastly the are loyal and have a powerful will

"Your mind is the greatest weapon of them all" Aaron commented "What will happen if you are forced to go on defense" he asked thoughtfully "When will I get to make a saber?" he added

Vengeance chuckled.

"It is not a matter of if you will be forced on the defensive but when."

He paused.

"Do not be afraid to disengage and regroup if space permits." "In the heat of battle it can get overwhelming." "It can force you to react on instinct and lose track of the goal."

Vengeance did a quick side step.

"You can dodge."

He then did a sweeping motion with his leg followed up with a hammer fist coming across.

"You can counter in a manner that takes your opponent off balance."

He smiled looking at [member="Aaron Alphonse"] giving a small force push towards the acolyte. Only using enough force for him to feel it without moving him.

"You can even just push your opponent." "Just because everybody knows a technique does not mean it can't be effective."

Vengeance pulled his saber back out.

"You can make a saber whenever you want." "Personally I have yet to do so." "This one is a stock saber." "I have one crystal that I got on a trip to Dagobah." "Once I have the other crystal I will finally make a custom one for myself."

He smiled.

"It is not making a saber that matters Aaron." "It is making the saber.........your saber that matters." "My advice..........take your time and make it count." "Don't rush it."

Vengeance put away the saber and pulled out a simple knife.

"So of my best attacks were done simply with one of these." "The force, the saber, they are just tools." "It is the warrior that wields them that matters."

Aaron shuttered a little as he felt the small push . Rubbing his head he just thought of something his trandoshan knife he kept in his boot. He bent down and at first it looked as if he was scratching his ankle but then form the base of his boot he brought out a wild looking dagger like knife.

He then showed it to Vengeance "A simply tool" he paused selecting his words "Can be effective as a saber?" He said conforming to himself "Shall we began?" he asked

Vengeance laughed.

"Begin young Acolyte?" "We started long ago." "Today's lesson is almost complete."

He chuckled reaching out calling one of the training sabers to his hand. He tossed it to Aaron.

"When made of the correct material yes a simple tool can be effective against a saber." "However........."

He chuckled.

"Save the use of such in your face tactics for when you are better equipped to use them effectively." "Close quarters has more risk than gain."

Vengeance grabbed a training saber of his own and gave [member="Aaron Alphonse"] a typical Makashi salute.

"If you feel you are ready then you may engage at will."

"True" Aaron agreed with what Vengeance it was true the training has started a long time. Aaron then caught the training saber. He examined it then listened to Vengeance and nodded taking note that close quaters is more loose then gain.

Aaron then took the saber in a firm grip and copied Vengeance's Makashi salute. Nodding Aaron planted his feet in the ground. He then made a rotation to his right side and then lounged at Vengeance aiming for his side

Vengeance simply took a half step back with a quick rotation of his wrist swatted the Acolyte's blade away.

"Utterly pathetic." "A single and so blatant move does nothing." "Mix it up.......do more than one thing."

Vengeance thrust his saber out towards Aaron's chest, rotated his wrist slashing from right to left, rotated his wrist again in a downward strike towards Aaron's head, rotating his wrist again Vengeance slashed right to left. As he did he stepped in following it through completely he attempted to drive his elbow into Aaron's chest.

"Remember when you bring your saber against your enemy it is life and death." "Give your enemy a chance to counter and they will strive to overwhelm you." "Don't think just because this training saber is less likely to maim or kill that you are safe."

Aaron was caught off guard by the mix of attacks and thus was disamered "To be fair this is my first time dueling" he added before calling the sword back to his hand using the force. He then rotated his sword to the right and then to the left

He then eyed Vengeance arm and then made a thrusting rotation towards his arm still starring at the place he was going to strike before switching it up and aimed for Vengeance's left leg before rotating and switching it up again aiming for his head

Vengeance laughed.

"Fairness is not the Sith way Aaron." "Outside of this room it is kill or be killed." "It may be officially forbidden to attack but if you don't think there a re not at least a few Acolytes here plotting an accident for you with designs of replacing you then you would be wrong."

Vengeance chuckled doing small backpedals blocking Aaron's attacks. When Aaron aimed for his leg Vengeance simply picked it up and attempted to plant it in Aaron's chest before setting it back down.

Aaron stumbled back before regaining his balance. He frowned "True" Aaron said "It is sad I only know the basics of force attacks" He said throwing himself at Vengeance aiming for his leg before quickly leaping back and tried to push him back with the force

He then once landed planted his feet down hard on the ground. He then paused "Can I ask you a question" he said moving into a defensive posture

Vengeance chuckled side stepping the leg strike before bringing his Saber up and curling into the push letting himself slide back just a hair.

"Some times the basics are all you need."

He flipped the saber reverse grip with a smile.

"Questions are encouraged."

He paused still keeping him in a defensive posture. He then seated the training saber down and slide down the wall siting down. He then thought of that day he was taken to the sith. It was just a normal day until he decided to visit his uncle to which he was arrested and accidentally throwed the people to bits.

"When I returned home to balmorra" Aaron said slowly "I found out he and my family was taking for execution" "I went into a rage" he was shaking "Like never before" "I killed them" "Not normally all I remember is me throwing my hands out and they where being pushed far away" he paused "Was this normal? Can I control it?

Vengeance smiled.

"Let me tell you a story Aaron." "A story that took place 10 years ago."

Vengeance looked thoughtful for a moment.

"When I was a child I lived peacefully.........ignorant of things like the force." "That was all shattered for me one night when three men broke into our home." "I watched in horror as my father who despite putting up a valiant fell." "I flew into a rage much like you describe and killed two of them."

He smiled.

"For me it was a matter of becoming Sith or facing life in prison for murder." "It is not a manner of can you control it but when you will control it." "If you don't control it then it will build up until it consumes and destroys you."

He chuckled.

It will take time." "It is not something that happens overnight."

Aaron nodded and then decided to turn things to a joke "Hey once I become a knight is that when I get the Darth title" he chuckled standing up "This Aaron Alphonse is well" "Not as menacing" he joked as he used the force to lift the training saber to his hand

"I was thinking something like Darth Magnus" Aaron joked before getting in a defensive style "What did you do?" he asked "How did you murder them?"

Vengeance chuckled.

"Some people never adopt a title and some do." "For example one of the Sith Lords [member="Sage Bane"] never adopted the Darth title." "However he holds great power withing the One Sith none the less." "It is not the title you hold that makes you menacing it is the deeds." "It is the man that makes the title, the title does not make the man."


He shrugged.

"I don't know." "The manifestation of pure emotion is rarely something that one fully understands when you are 12."

He smiled.

"The lesson for today is over." "Go back to your room and meditate on what has been covered today." "I have some things I need to take care of." "I will let you know the time and place of our next lesson."
