SILVER JEDI CONCORD
Sakadi Marathi Sinvala was a Master of the Silver Jedi Order who gained prominence in the times of the Elder Compact, an attempt to unite former enemies- Jedi, Sith, and Confederacy - against the existential Bryn’adûl threat. Though she did not fully endorse the compact, she joined the later battle of Dantooine when things escalated. During the confrontation, Sakadi stood her ground against other Jedi turned adversaries, maintaining integrity amidst fractured loyalties and taking part in the chaotic battle.

After Dantooine where many Jedi compromised their Code, Sakadi was offered and accepted a seat on the Silver Assembly to replace Coren Starchaser. She would go on to play a pivotal role in the Silver Jedi Concord, where she consistently championed Jedi integrity and held herself and others to rigorous ethical standards. She laid down her function after the massacre on Ossus, but at the advent of the Greater Bryn'adûl War, Grandmaster Kiara Ayres re-elected Sakadi to the Silver Assembly. Amidst the chaos and collapse of the war, Sakadi prioritized coordinated efforts and combined her strong ethical convictions with calm, strategic leadership. She attempted to foster unity without sacrificing accountability, and used her voice - albeit a silent one - to stand up for justice, both within the Jedi Order and across the wider galaxy.

"We are not Jedi because we deserve it. We are Jedi because that is who we decide to be."

"It took thousands of generations to shape the ways of the Jedi. To identify the core principles we hold as the Code. We follow it with devotion and discipline, because the struggles of our past generations show us exactly what happens when we fail to do so."
- Sakadi Sinvala

At her core, Sakadi is principled. She adheres closely to the Jedi Code and acts as a moral compass for both students and colleagues, even when it places her at odds with them. She does not compromise easily on matters of ethics, and this conviction has made her a respected—if sometimes difficult—voice on the Jedi Council. She can be aloof, distant, or even passive-aggressive when faced with viewpoints she finds shortsighted or dangerous, but these traits come from her unwillingness to betray her ideals. For Sakadi, integrity always outweighs expedience.

As a mentor, she is both patient and demanding. She does not hand her students easy answers but instead challenges them to confront their own weaknesses and discover strength through reflection. With Padawans like Cas Tynen, Mi’la Undari, and Taliya Kassel, she balances compassion with stern expectations, guiding them toward caution, discipline, and resilience. Though her students may sometimes find her distant, she invests deeply in their growth, often pushing them harder than they push themselves. Her lessons are rarely about lightsaber forms or rote knowledge alone—they are about self-awareness, restraint, and living as a Jedi beyond the battlefield.

Yet beneath her composure lies the shadow of personal grief. Losing her voice and abandoning her former life left scars that never fully healed.

Sakadi channels her pain into purpose, but it lingers in her distant manner and her hesitance to form close bonds. Her refusal to openly confront her inner turmoil can make her seem detached, but those who spend time with her recognize the quiet resilience born from surviving profound loss. This duality—her serene exterior and the pain she conceals—makes her both enigmatic and deeply human.

In Council chambers and on the battlefield, Sakadi exemplifies the Jedi Consular’s ideal: calm, insightful, and steadfast, yet entirely capable of decisive action when the moment demands it. She thrives in diplomacy, mediation, and teaching, though she wields her lightsaber with elegance and precision when forced to fight. More than anything, she seeks to be a steady presence in a chaotic galaxy. A voice of conscience, even if it is heard only in the minds of others.

"Truth be told, he never considered the hardships and the burdens of what it would be like to live a long life, establishing bonds and losing them over and over again. It seemed... so exhausting. It made him wonder if that was why Sakadi herself acted the way she did."
- Cas Tynen

"Caltin offered further help, and he was content to let him do so. Or’Fol was in agreement as well. And that just left…
Ah, right. Her."
- Josh Dragovalor

" She pondered what her master would do, how Sakadi might handle this. Then the word resolute came to mind, and Mi'la had her answer."
- Mi'la Undari

Early life
Sakadi was the daughter of Arithon Sinvala, whose matrilineal lineage traced back to High King Alaric of Thustra. She was born late in the four-hundred Years of Darkness, just before galactic communications were restored. The discovery of her exceptional singing talent was a rare blessing for the Sinvala line, that stood on the edge of ruin. Once a house of renown, it had declined into poverty after falling out of favor during the Clone Wars and the conflicts that followed.

Sakadi’s rise to fame through operatic performances revived the Sinvala family's fortunes, but at great personal cost. Her parents, desperate to reclaim lost prestige, pushed her relentlessly. From a strict and isolated childhood, she was groomed for a life on the stage. What began as a gift soon became a curse. Sakadi was imprisoned by the very talent that was meant to save her.

Against her will, Sakadi became one of the most famous and wealthy Sephi in the Sumitra Sector. In her late teenage years, at the height of her career, she began to crave the freedom she had long been denied. Rebellious and restless, she became the focal point of numerous scandals, frequently fleeing photoshoots and press interviews.

Everything unraveled when she fled into the backstreets of Thustra’s capital. In her escape, Sakadi was caught in the middle of a violent heist and was nearly killed by a vibroknife wound to the throat. Advanced and costly surgery saved her life, at the expense of her voice. The incident abruptly ended her promising career.

Her parents, more concerned with image than recovery, blamed her for destroying everything they had built. Emotionally distant and cold, they turned their backs on her when she needed them most. Feeling lost and abandoned, Sakadi fled Thustra. To bury the scandal, her parents announced to the public that their daughter, the Thustran Queen of the Opera, had died in a coma.

Service in the Order
Sakadi, once a sheltered star, found herself adrift in a world she had never truly known. With little knowledge of the outside world, she struggled to adapt to her new nomadic life. She was scammed, robbed, went days without food or shelter, and had no voice with which to share her pain. Her hardship ended when a man in simple robes found her. He spoke of a gift she carried, one that could be nurtured and used to help others like her. With no other path open to her, Sakadi reluctantly accepted his offer.

Over the next decade, she immersed herself in the teachings of the Jed. She studied the tenets of the Force, the Jedi Code, and the path of inner balance. In time, she learned to communicate telepathically, recovering a part of herself once thought lost. She eventually became a Padawan under the mentorship of Kasi Marr, a Catharese Jedi Guardian and philosopher. Under Marr's guidance, she traveled the galaxy, honing her skills and gaining wisdom, until she earned the title of Jedi Knight.

Choosing the path of the Consular, Sakadi served the Order with unwavering dedication. She worked closely alongside fellow Knight Vash Tembra, forging alliances and facing adversaries alike—from the Nightsister Eithni and the Jawa thief Funani to the Talz hunter Nuniq. Throughout the tumult of the Clockwork Rebellion and the fall of the Omni, Sakadi remained a vigilant and stalwart champion of the Light. Yet, the ravages of war left deep scars. Haunted by how close she had come to the Dark Side after losing her mentor and friends in battle, Sakadi took the Barash Vow - a solemn oath of isolation - to realign herself with the Light.

Barash Vow
Having taken the vow, Sakadi withdrew from galactic affairs for over two decades. Guided by the beckoning call of the Force, she journeyed to Shili, where she devoted herself to studying the Jedi Code and the few holocrons she was permitted to carry. There, she constructed a small monastery, a sanctuary where she would find refuge for many years.

Though in self-imposed exile, the Sephi was often drawn off-world, her aid sought by nearby planets and local populations. Whether to protect and heal, or to serve as a mediator between warring factions. She carried out the duties of a Jedi Knight, unbound by the Order’s strictures. Through this independence and solitude, Sakadi not only grew as an individual but deepened her knowledge of, and connection to, the Force.

She returned to the galactic stage near the end of the Great War, having sensed the fall of the Alliance through the Force. Reclaiming her status as a Knight of the Silver Jedi, Sakadi helped the Silver Jedi support what remained of their shattered ally.

J E D I . M A S T E R

The Next Generation
Sakadi was elevated to the rank of Jedi Master shortly after resuming her duties within the Order. During recovery from a mission, she crossed paths with a young and uncertain Cas Tynen. Sensing potential in the insecure youth, Sakadi took him as her Padawan in an effort to nurture his confidence. This marked the beginning of a lasting friendship and a formative bond between Master and apprentice. Together, they traveled the galaxy, resolving conflicts and confronting the rising darkness.

On the eve of galactic war, the Order knighted Cas without her consent. Believing him unprepared, she immediately assigned a gifted Padawan to his care, intending to teach him one final, vital lesson: responsibility.

While continuing to guide Cas from the sidelines, Sakadi took on a new Padawan of her own: a bold and headstrong Twi’lek named Mi’la Undari. Much like Cas - and Sakadi herself - Mi’la’s recklessness led her into danger. She was captured and tortured by Sith forces. With Cas’s help, Sakadi launched a mission to track and rescue her. In the months that followed, she remained at Mi’la’s side, aiding in her physical and emotional recovery. The ordeal left a lasting mark, and Sakadi vowed never to take another apprentice.

Return to Thustra
At the height of the war between the Silver Jedi and the Sith Empire, Sakadi was drawn back to her homeworld during the battle over Myrkr and the Sumitra Sector. She prioritized the evacuation of her family - despite their past betrayals. In doing so, Sakadi discovered that her younger sister, Maya Bir Sinvala, had fallen to the Dark Side. Shaken and distraught, Sakadi fled once again, unable to stop the invasion led by the exiled royal, Lirka Ka.

Lirka, declaring herself Empress, seized power over Thustra and Isobe, executing all rival claimants to the Sephi throne. Haunted by her perceived cowardice, Sakadi returned. This time to join the growing resistance against the newly declared Sephi Dominate. Her efforts culminated in a personal duel against Lirka Ka. Sakadi remained behind enemy lines, working to destabilize the regime until the Sith Empire's grip on the Mid Rim finally crumbled.

S I L V E R. A S S E M B L Y

Elder Compact
“We will judge those who identify themselves as Jedi killers, or those who openly admit their willingness to do so, very harshly.”
Following the collapse of the Sephi Dominate, Sakadi ventured into Sith space to take part in the chaotic Battle of Dantooine. Hoping to quell Jedi infighting, she instead encountered Sith Empress Joycelyn Zambrano. Alongside Auteme of the New Jedi Order, Sakadi confronted the Empress in a ferocious battle. Together, the two Jedi held their own, forcing the Sith into a stalemate.

In the wake of the battle, and the crisis of conscience it provoked within the Jedi, Sakadi was appointed to the Silver Assembly, taking over the seat once held by Coren Starchaser. Her first task was to navigate the fallout of the controversial Elder Compact, a rift between the Silver Jedi and the New Jedi Order that had left deep ideological scars. Sakadi emerged as a voice of balance: demanding accountability, yet urging compassion and nuance. While open conflict between the Orders was averted, their relations remained tense and fractured.

During her first term on the Assembly, Sakadi became known as a principled traditionalist, advocating for a renewed focus on introspection and strict adherence to the Jedi Code. She played a pivotal role in shaping the Silver Jedi Concord.

Her tenure ended in the aftermath of the Ossus Massacre, an unexpected defeat at the hands of the Bryn’adûl that severed crucial links to Voss. In the face of such loss, Sakadi relinquished her seat, marking the end of a significant chapter in her long service to the Order.

Background
Calyx Sundrift, hailing from Cadomai, was an exemplary member of the Jedi Order. A young Knight with strong morals, prodigious bladework, and a strong connection to the Force. Yet everything was thrown into chaos when, only a year after attaining Knighthood, Calyx was captured during a mission in Wild Space and sold to the spice mines of Kessel. Months went by where he faced gruesome psychological and physical challenges. Now, a free man again, Calyx desperately tries to cling to what is left of his convictions.
Personality and Traits
Beneath his easy charm and dry humor lies a mind that is constantly churning. Calyx is in desperate search for the truth. His truth, now that his belief in the Jedi Ways has withered and crumbled under the cruel violence of Kessel's spice mines.

It has made him vengeful and cunning, concealing rage and spite with a mask of smiles and showman-like heroics. Because even while he has abandoned the Jedi way of thinking, Calyx still seeks to protect those who cannot protect themselves. His methods, however, have been twisted by contempt. Instead of offering help to the victims, Calyx seeks to destroy the oppression by any means necessary.

Strengths and Weaknesses
+ The Showman
Calyx is a master at concealing his true intentions. He lies as easily as he breathes.
+ The Grand Plan
Prepatory and calculative, Calyx's backup plans have backup plans.

- Unstable individual
While outwardly charming and charismatic, Calyx is twisted by his past and rather easy to goad.
- The Force is out of Balance
Calyx has halfway fallen to the Dark side. This significantly hampers his connection to the Force.

"I've believed in the Code all my life. Then came the terrors of Kessel. How could anyone still believe in ideals after that?"
- Calyx Sundrift
