Private The Mystic Artistry

Dreidi had not long been part of the Nightsisters, in fact, she can was still considered to be a Jedi by most of the coven, since that was how Dreidi viewed herself since she wasn't sure how to use the magick taught to her by Mother Vanya. She was adamant to understand the basics and had been around the witches within the CIS more than the Light Side Force Users, to ensure that she could understand magick best.

Currently Dreidi was still struggling with the pyromancy learnt through Night Mother Vanya and not the way she had originally learned how to perform pyromancy through the Force as a Jedi. It was proving harder than the young Padawan would like to learn a completely set of skills, but the young Padawan had earned herself no companions, had strived to make her trials easier, in fact, Dreidi sought out things that would make it harder, she was determined to prove that she was the strongest witch of Dathomir if she could, especially since she held Night Mother Vanya in such high regard.

Tugging on her jacket, Dreidi breathed in deeply and was suspicious of the invitation to a lesson she suspected that it could a trick to lure into a trap to kill her or otherwise prove that a Jedi could not be a Night Sister was so many in the order were adamant to prove.

It was not so long ago that Julra was the awkward initiate to the witches, before the incident in the Nether she had known far too little about magick and the galaxy's many dangers. The price of ignorance was six years spent trapped within the boundary of the Nether. Six years passed for her but for those outside the realm which she had been bound it had only been minutes.

Six years spent honing her craft and surviving, allowing her to tap into a well of power that she didn't even know she possessed. Now Julra was treated as an Elder, but still, there were whispers and rumors about her. Such things didn't concern her, of the witches in the Confederacy she was one of the few who had pure Dathomiri blood.

Julra's long blonde hair didn't fit the picture of Dathomir, but that didn't matter her skill as well as her temperament testified to her blood. She walked briskly through the halls of the Castle. Clad in her armor the crimson and black colors stood in sharp contrast calling to memory to the Nightsisters of Dathomir instead of the muted colors that the Solanaceae favored.

Blue eyes wandered the corridor as she walked, many of the sisters and brothers were keen to steer clear of her. Which was fine, they did not see what she had seen or suffered as she had and she had no intention of explaining it anyways.

Dreidi was pacing, her nerves were eating away at her, her bottom lip was being torn at by her teeth as she paced around looking to see if there was anyone actually coming to this training session. Adjusting her hair, she tied it but into a bun of some kind to avoid the hair getting in her eyes while she was training. Taking her black leather jacket off, she used the Force to hang it on a hook, out of the way, rolling her shoulders as she felt the thin shirt on her skin that helped her body to breath when she was doing some intense training. Her outfit was one purely for training and working out in, she had several versions of the same outfit and rarely wore anything different nowadays since her life was becoming more and more focused around training and becoming the strongest person that she could become.

Lifting her hands, she figured that she could get some quick practice into the training since she had the free time to do so. Her hands raised, she thought back to the incantation that Vanya made her recite till it was drilled deep into her brain. Casting it, she took her time, ensuring that every word was pronounced carefully and that her actions mirrored Vanya's actions to the best of her ability. It was far from perfect but she was getting better with each new attempt, at least she was telling herself that with each new attempt that she was getting better and better.

At the end of her incantation, Dreidi felt the connection with the Magick as small flames flickered weakly from her hands. It wasn't anywhere near the amount that Dreidi had seen others do nor the amount that she knew she could do. In more dangerous settings, there had been bigger flames but she was also working on adrenaline and hope, she wanted to demonstrate more restraint and control. Able to do it on command rather than when her life depended on it. The young Padawan was working on her incantation she was oblivious to everything else going on around her, something she was often chastised for doing.

While walking through the training areas there was a small pull, nothing dangerous more of a sensation of something interesting. Julra paused mid-stride and turned towardto investigate, her pace slowing as she edged toward one of the training rooms. She slipped into the room like a shadow, silent and unseen though she made no effort to conceal herself in the force.

What she found was a young woman with golden hair much like her and practicing and incantation. It made her recall her younger and more naive self and caused an unpleasant expression to form on her face. She quickly shook the thought from her mind and simply observed. The young woman's skill was obvious to her, granted Julra was also not some elder witch like Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura was or even Vanya, the new Nightmother as it were yet she was not so easily swayed..

When she had seen enough she stepped forward before speaking softly but her voice reverberated in the room. "You are overthinking things sister. I know, because I did too. Magick is an odd concept for most other force users because it is the force but it's also separate. There is a wild nature to it for certain focus less on trying to contain it and focus more on what you want it to do."

She stepped in front of the young woman and held out a hand, a green flame burst to light in her hand vibrant and dancing in her open palm. "Magick is freedom, to move to think and to act. Restrict it too much" the flames dimmed suddenly and slowly snuffed out in her palm. "The result is a magick that is weak and ineffective. Try it again."

Dreidi jumped in surprised at another person talking to her and struggled to compose herself, she adjusted her outfit and coughed slightly. "I ummm..." She was still trying to take in everything as she was not expecting to see anyone person in her training room, she had been fortunate to be able to train alone when doing her Magick practice. She wasn't sure how others would see it and what they would make of her training. Part of her didn't care since it was her life and she was determined to do what she wanted. However, there was some part of her that didn't want to be looked down upon or mocked by her peers for practicing in Magick as well as trying to achieve her dream of being the best Jedi Master.

Looking at the stranger, she coughed again as she still tried to find her voice, "I'm Dreidi." Was all she could manage after awhile. She watched them demonstrate their skills in the same spell and felt her shoulders slump. Everyone seemed to make this Magick deal so much easier than Dreidi could. She knew there were abilities such as teleportation, illusionary Magick and more that she hadn't even read about. Yet this simple fire spell as Vanya put it, it was beyond Dreidi.

"Thanks. I dunno, I can do it in the moment but trying to conjure it, just seems to be fighting me. I don't want to do it and lose control..." Dreidi admitted since she had lost control when she discovered her ability to Force Scream and nearly did permanent damage to another person because she hadn't warned that she could do it and had no clue how to control a power like that. It wasn't even fully controlled now, she was still learning how to do it safely for her voice as well as being able to control it and direct it. Looking at the stranger, she took a step back, hoping to be at a safe distance to avoid burning her. Holding out her hand, she let go of her fears, relaxed her mind and tried to connect to the Magick, picturing how it felt when she connected in her times of need before channelling it down her arm and feeling a slightly larger but steadier flame produced in her hand.
