Ozzie "The Mutt" Ozzello

NAME: Ozzie Ozzello
FACTION: Darkwire
RANK: Bruiser / Enforcer
SPECIES: Half-Felacatian, Half-Firrerreo
AGE: Mid twenties
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 6'4
WEIGHT: 235lbs
EYES: Orange
HAIR: Pale red-orange
SKIN: Caucasian. Weathered and tanned.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Negative, ghost-rider.

STRENGTHS:
  • [+] Half-Breed Mutt: Bred for the pits, prize fighting, and brawling. Ozzie is a crossbreed between two inherently powerful species: Firrerreo and Felacatian. While much of his genetic makeup serves to add to his exotic appearance, he is especially gifted biologically. Insane healing aspect, near-perfect night vision, hair-trigger reflexes, hyper-developed senses, and innate fighting potential make him the perfect brawler. Not only that, Ozzie has inherited the polymorphic trait of all Felacatians: being able to shift on cue into a massive, predatory feline. Claws capable of rending durasteel asunder, spiked protrusions, and uncanny reflexes and strength fill out his abilities.
  • [+] Shockboxer: Ozzie was born and bred solely to make money for others. In the pits of Nar Shaddaa's underworld was where he made his claim to fame, fighting tooth and nail with each and every variation of fighter imaginable. While unrefined and primal, his fighting style is largely unmatched and has served to not only make him a capable fighter, but have made his name well-known in the underworld.

WEAKNESSES:
  • [-] Stress: Ozzie has not fully mastered his polymorphic ability yet, which has served to create quite a few inconveniences for his everyday life. Simple stressors in his life have a tendency of escalating an already bad temper, causing him to shift into an unreasonably angry, hell-bent feline. Reasoning and communicating with Ozzie at this point is almost nil, and only a few close friends are capable of settling down this furious man. Hyperspace travel has an additional physically stressing effect as well - so it's smart to lock him in his own bunk while traveling via space.
  • [-] A Big Dummy: Street smarts and a way with his fists haven't exactly provided much in terms of an actual education. Basic math, science, and other technologically advanced aspects of life fall on deaf ears. With that being said: he's not that stupid. Just uneducated. Blasters and hokey-pokey magic powers have no place in his everyday life.

APPEARANCE:
Exotic, primal, and oh-so animalistic. Ozzie Ozzello is a crossbreed of both a canine and feline species, which make him stand out well enough in crowds. Standing a head taller than most, Ozzie strides with riveting swagger, shouldering his way through crowds as if he owns the entire planet. A huge fan of sleeveless clothing, Ozzie's favorite clothes tend to be vests and jackets with furred lining and simple trousers. Handwraps, knuckle-dusters, and brass knuckles can often be found on his person if he isn't outright wearing them: raring for a good fight to start. Cat-like ears crest his head, pale red-orange hair hangs down to his chin, and a feline tail make him appear far more primal than not.

He is a man prone to reckless outbursts, often wearing his heart on his sleeve. He has no gambler's smug, knowing look. Rather, each and every interaction with another being tells a tale through body language. Smiles are reserved for only the closest friends, while tight-lipped grimaces and frowns are commonplace. Ozzie's ears and tail reflect his emotions, typically shifting to listening closer to a distant sound or swaying back and forth as if he is a predator on the hunt.

BIOGRAPHY:
This is the all-too familiar tale of a half-breed mutt. Born into a world of scum and villainy, with no family to guide his hand and care for him as a child. Other than criminals, slavers, and many other beings desiring to use the boy's heritage for their own gain. So that is exactly what they did. The Nar Shaddaa underworld is a grim and dark place, definitely no place one should ever take or a raise a child in, but the Black Lotus gang did. Thankfully, the Pit Boss and his girlfriend, Marietta Ozzello, saw it in their favor to keep and train the young child when one of their "attendants" brought him in as a form of payment for a debt still unknown to Ozzie. Marietta quickly became the endearing maternal figure for little Ozzie, taking care of him and babying him as a boy, much to her boyfriend's dismay.

Ozzie's early years were marred with strife, suffering, and misery as he was taught how to be the perfect little criminal. Petty thievery, shadowing other bruisers for debt collection, and providing security to the shockboxing pits was how he contributed to their little "family." As he grew older, more and more of his responsibilities drew closer to the physical realm of the gang's duties. More breaking noses, more shoving passerby into alleys, and more time spent having his own face beat into the dirt in the Pits. Each and every time he got beaten down, Marietta was there to clean his wounds and offer tender words of encouragement. She was his rock, his well of compassion that he often drew upon.

He fully dedicated himself to shockboxing thereafter. The money was far better and his wounds healed fast enough to maintain a steady stream of potential opponents. Before he knew it, he'd won his first match. Then his second, and then his third. It soon became an upward stream of progress and renown as the mutt matured and honed his brawling skills. Cracking skulls and stomping on ribcages became second nature to the teenager, and the only way he could possibly make enough credits to please his increasingly expectant gang boss. Though with much of his earnings from it, Ozzie would pass off to Marietta, mainly to take care of her the way she had for him as a boy.

After nearly two decades of his trade, Ozzie finally amassed enough cash to buy himself off of the boss's payroll for a period of time. Partly to "explore" other business ventures for the Black Lotus, and partially to escape the never ending stream of dull, boring fights against nobodies.
