Strengths
  • [+] Combat Versatility - The Cathedral possesses a respectable array of weaponry, and as such, is flexible in combat, capable of complementing her allies (if any). Aside from Turbolasers to defend against harassing Starfighters, the Cathedral also comes equipped with Energy Torpedo Projectors and Magnetic Railguns to hammer away at both Shield and Hull.

Weaknesses
  • [-] Discount Power Cells – The Cathedral's Power Cells are incapable of providing energy to every system the ship possesses at the same time. In order to remain operable, one of the following systems must be disengaged at all times: Deflector Shields, Railguns, Energy Torpedoes, Lasers, or Propulsion. Diverting power from one system to another takes time, and so it is ill advised to do so during combat, as it could very well leave the ship vulnerable.
  • [-] Frontward Facing Firepower – Both the Railguns and Energy Torpedo Projectors are mounted in fixed positions on the ship, facing forward. While that does mean that aiming is rather simple, it also cuts down on the ship’s odds for survival. To fire her primary weapons, she must be either stationary and pointing towards the intended target, or worse, moving towards it. For a ship designed to damage much larger, more powerful ships, this is not typically a stellar tactic.

DESCRIPTION
Quick, Stylish, Deadly. These are the three things that Darth Imperia demanded when she commissioned the Midnight Cathedral, her personal Corvette, and Kuat Drive Yards certainly delivered. With a sleek, elegant design and an innovative new way to carry weaponry, the Cathedral is an absolutely gorgeous piece of engineering. Her most impressive feature is, without doubt, the Pop Up Weapons System - when not in combat (or when needing repairs), each individual weapon can be retracted and hidden away within the interior of the ship. Unfortunately, the space this takes up means that the Cathedral takes a hit to both cargo and passenger capacity. But, on the other hand, those passengers are incredibly safe; the Cathedral possesses a sturdy defensive array and a wide host of weapons systems. Deep in the belly of the Cathedral lies, well, an actual Cathedral; a Sith Temple designed to Imperia's exact specifications, in which she spends most of her time when not on an outing, whether meditating, plotting, or indulging in any of the various pleasures she fancies.

The Midnight Cathedral sports a class 1 Hyperdrive, a crew of 30 (With a skeleton crew of 10), and a maximum passenger capacity of 200 - the ship stores enough consumables for one Galactic Standard Year.
